After the inspection he showed me the areas of concern and discussed in his opinion what was the critical areas that need attantion emmidately and then those that needed attention but were not critical to the operation of the home. Derek was absolutely great! Very honest about what he saw and that is so important! He was not afraid to go into any dark space or on top of the roof! He walked us through every inch room by room! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Gerard Home Inspection. From the beginning, the communication was great. Heather was very nice and scheduled me quickly. I had a question about the agreement, and Gerard respond very honestly and quickly to ease my concern with a particular clause in it. On inspection day, I was immediately impressed with how thorough and knowledgable the inspector was. He had completed the inspection and was working on the report by the time I arrived for my walk-through. He then walked me around through the house, pointed out his bigger concerns, talked through his smaller concerns, and even suggested ways I could fix some small items myself. I received a 72 page inspection report with details, photos, and recommendations that night. I recommend Gerard Home Inspection whole-heartedly. I am still extremely impressed days later.

Outstanding. They spend the first half of the inspection without you, documenting what they find and getting to all the places in the home they need to be. When I arrived, they were ready to walk me through what they found. Derek did an outstanding job. He was very informative and very thorough.
