Description of Work: These guys took 6 trees down in my back yard which was great and at a fair price. The only problem we had was they showed up to cut down my trees before I had actually hired them to do so. Our wires were crossed so to speak. After we got in the same page they started their work. It took a total of 3 days because in the middle of my job they stopped went across the street and started cutting on the neighbors tree because he asked about hiring them. Wasn't to pleased about that either. I was told one day and gone. Owell new company, I suppose you'll have that. I called them again 2 years later and told them they quoted me 250 dollars to take out 7 tree stumps and they honored that. Everything went much smoother this time and much more professional. It's a growing company so do be afraid to use these guys. They are fair in there prices.

And since we did your job three years ago I cannot even discuss with the crew what they did when they left.

Description of Work: Gavin was awesome to deal with. He came right out, and gave me a fair estimate on removing my 2 dead Ash trees. I did not end up getting the work done due to unrelated circumstances, but I can highly recommend his company from my experience with the quoting process. Thanks Gavin, I will definitely give you a call when my circumstances change.

All I was doing was trying to educate the client. This is a screenshot of what I Sent her: I tell everybody to make sure that those people are insured and not just get a certificate call the insurance company listed on the form I personally would not put a climber in the tree but some people are do not do the same work safely that we try to do. The tree was a very hazardous tree completely full of vine no access to the backyard and I estimated it to have a crane on the job to do the tree safely. Clients only response was is that they are on Angie's list my response to that was just because they're on Angie's list does not mean they are insured anybody can be on Angie's list and I paid to be on Angie's list.

Description of Work: Hired them to grind stumps and they did a great job. They were able to fit me in their schedule at the last minute, when other companies gave me a 3-week lead time. I would hire them again for stump grinding and may consider for additional landscaping projects.

Description of Work: We purchased an Angie's List deal for some tree trimming. Because of how large and how bad our trees were, we had to extend the scope of work. They were definitely prompt, getting the trees done as soon as weather permitted, and they did a good job.

Description of Work: I had a very large walnut tree removed which hung over three other properties besides my own. It was necessary to remove by hand due to space constraints. Everyone acted professionally from Gavin who gave me the estimate and scheduled the work to the job foreman and crew. They scheduled the work quickly after I purchased an Angie's List deal and performed the work even though the weather was not ideal. It took a full work day plus a couple of hours the next morning to complete the job and cleanup. I felt their price was fair. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: They did a wonderful job of getting a client's lawn into shape. They trimmed, pulled weeds, laid mulch and took all lawn trash away. Anything I asked for they did. |They forgot the first appt. due to illness but made good by a good discount on the first visit. |Very detailed, courteous and professional. They will keep things on schedule from here on out. |Good Work!

(member name removed) having tree work done is very objectionable, and no 2 companies do it the same way, my question on price is are they performing the same service I had quoted ? Your 80 foot Oak tree has not been pruned for some time if at all and was going to require a full day and a 3 man crew to perform the work. Sorry you feel We were to expensive to perform your work and hopefully the company you chose does the same level of work we had quoted. There are many companies in our area of town that are not insured and do sub standard wok.

Gavin and his team are absolutely fantastic! He was quick to respond and come out and give me a quote, which was WAY under the prices I had quoted from other companies and he did more work. He was very good with communication and would let me know what they were doing when, and responded quickly to emails from me throughout the entire process (which was 2 months long) with any questions I had. Even while working he was very helpful with my multitude of questions and explained the process to me step by step which made it easy to understand what would be happening to my yard. My yard now looks better than ever and I am so happy I found G&A to take care of my needs.
Description of Work: Removed 18x36 in-ground pool, broke up and removed concrete, took down fence, leveled out yard/seeded and removed locust tree from front yard, removed stump and top-soiled/seeded.

Better than I expected. I received an invoice along with proof of insurance via e-mail. They were careful cutting the tree down and raked the yard after hauling all of the debris away. I will use this company in the future

The service went well. They did exactly what the deal stated. The deal pricing was significantly less than other bids we received. A crew of 3 came out for the job and completed the job in a course of a few days because of weather. They were great with the cleanup after the job. It did take a bit to get them scheduled for the job and I had to play phone tag with them.

I have a tree that I need to have cut down. The first estimate from another provider was $785. I left 2 messages with G&A and they did not get back to me to get an estimate. I purchased the big deal for 4 hours of tree service from G&A and that did get a quick response as they came out and sent me an estimate. However, even with the big deal purchase was well over $1000 as they estimated 21 man hours to cut and remove the tree. This is significantly more than the other estimate and thus I requested the refund of the big deal purchase.

The only message we got from customer was the big deal purchase, we always respond as soon as possible to all estimate request. The tree was a 7 hour job with travel and time on site and with tax was $1174.00. The tree was in a spot that needed to be climbed and lowered with rope over the fences and the neighbors house and required a 3 man crew. We bid all job as economically as possible to still allow profit for the company. There are a lot of options for contractors and every consumer should be aware of liability insurance and if they are insured to preform the work they are performing, not to mention workers comp insurance, if a contractor is not properly insured then it could possibly fall back on the homeowner for repairs and compensation.

My wife arranged for G&A to cut down two trees on our property. One of the trees was very big and in a tough spot on a hill and very close to the house, a fence, stairs, and a lamp post. The tree was not dead but we were worried that with a storm or heavy winds, the tree would crash into the house. The crew worked tirelessly until the job was done and did absolutely no damage to the house, fence, stairs, lamp post, or the yard. I was very impressed with their cleanup effort. If not for a bit of sawdust, I would not have known they were even there. Overall, G&A was punctual and did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. We would certainly recommend this company to others.

Sent email about trimming a bush next to the house, did not get a response from customer as at it was at the end of the season and snow was falling figured customer was waiting till spring, I maintain this customers yard weekly.
