Description of Work: I hired EMES to weed, edge and remove bamboo from a large perennial border. The crew arrived on time and did a good job with a fairly tough job. They were careful to not remove valued perennials. The only thing unexpected was an additional fee for haul off of waste. I am hiring EMES to complete this job.

Description of Work: After purchasing the services through Angie's List, I contacted the Emes to schedule an appointment to come and assess the future work. An appointment was scheduled for two days later. The representative of the company never showed up for the initial appointment and never called to reschedule. If the company can't even manage making the initial appointment I have no confidence in them managing the work.

Description of Work: They did some yard trimming and clean up. They were not very detail oriented. I bought 4 hours but they sent several people and spent a little over an hour doing the work. They tried to get me to purchased additional hours but I said no.

Description of Work: Purchased a deal with Angie's list and had them come do an estimate. No showed for the first estimate and rescheduled for the following day. Didn't show up at agreed upon time and called main office number who said appointment wasn't on books. Finally tracked down the person who was supposed to come and they ended up coming 2 hours late. No apologies offered, no one seemed upset with the confusion or that two days in a row things had been screwed up. Got the estimate and it was going to be a lot more money and work than we wanted to spend to just clear out a bunch of weeds. They called to follow up on scheduling and told them we were going to cancel the deal. They wanted to verify there was nothing they did to warrant the cancelation and it was just the price of the job. I told them this was the primary reason but that we were very unhappy with the way we were treated with the estimate and that no one seemed respectful of our time or offered an apology. This person was extremely apologetic and said he was unaware all this had occurred. He called me back later and offered 6 hours for free to make things right but we were still looking at over $500 for clearing weeds and that wasn't worth it for us. Did appreciate the effort to make it right.

Description of Work: They mulched, removed weeds, shaped flower beds and shrubs around my entire house

Description of Work: They did several hours of weeding for us. We just needed some help getting ahead of the weeds when we had been busy and had not had time to do as much in the garden as was needed.

Description of Work: They were great - did a great job, worked quickly, very friendly and informative.

Description of Work: Landscape cleanup and mulching. Basically a good job but mulch was very thin hard to tell how many hrs labor because people came and went. They were gone in less than 3 hrs and there was no way for me to know if I received what I paid for. Worked fast and hard, though, and were very polite.

Description of Work: They came with 4 men & 4 blowers to clean up leaves.1 blower would not start so 1 man was free & would have not been able to help except I had a rake & he eventually started to use it! They blow leaves into a tarp...I told them to put them in my 3 large yard waste receptacles,but they refused,putting tthem into their truck bed.Then the man in charge tried to charge me an additional fee to transport the leaves! I refused citing my 3yard waste containers. |In their favor they were very friendly listening to my directives and their work in front yrd was good but felt they |messed up the neighbor's backyard | with the blowing of leaves.They were gone in about 2 hrs

Description of Work: Removed bushes from out of my back yard. Were done in the amount of time promised. Professional and friendly at all times.
