DIAL ONE SECURITY INC

i have used Dial One Security for about 1 year now. The first 2 times they came out including the original sales call, they were 45 minutes to 1 hour late. This last service call in October they were 1 hour early for the appointment. The Alarm service and the Technicians are good. They were very resistant to hard wire contacts which I prefer, but other than that, they are professional, and the service is very good. The service is good but allow plenty of time for them to show up.

When I commented on this, he became defensive. He was not empathetic to the fact that there had been several break-ins in my neighborhood. I expect that someone who comes into my home to sell me something to be exceptionally polite. I would feel comfortable purchasing service from. He was just exceptionally rude.

They notify the police if when they call us there is insufficient response. We have some services built into the system that we are currently not using. We haven't had any issues with themnot responding.

.They are very professional. I have had excellent service with them. They are prompt too.

We had the product installed and they did what they said. The quality of their service has been great. They did a good job on answering questions. I would use them in the future.

I have used Dial One Security for nearly two decades. This is the fourth home that they have installed security components in and provided monitoring service for. One thing that is phenomenal is that their monthly monitoring fee has remained at $16 for those decades. I had the security system installed by them in my current home. The work done was professional and the areas that the techs worked in were clean when they left. On bidding for the security system, they actually said I did not need security devices on several windows because the type of window would prevent someone from breaking in. The cost of their systems is very reasonable and they provide state of the art equipment. They also respond very quickly, whether it is for an installation or repair. I highly recommend using them.

Bottom line: IT WENT VERY WELL, PERIOD.

Dial One did an outstanding job. They used the existing wiring but fixed years of issues that ADT had just band-aided. (For example, ADT just taped sensors together where the wires weren't long enough to reach new window frames because they didn't want to splice the wires whereas Dial One went ahead and did the splice to make sure all windows were monitored.) They tested everything to make sure it was working before they left. Their installer was knowledgeable and did quality work. We've had the system installed for 10 days now....have had it turned on every night....and haven't had a single false alarm. It works perfectly. While we had to pay $500 for the new system, their installer was here for 5 hours, so that didn't seem too unreasonable either. We have 11 first floor windows, 2 doors, and a motion sensor, so there was a fair amount of work. The bonus is, our monthly monitoring with Dial One is $10/month less than what we were paying with ADT, and Dial One indicates they don't typically raise their monitoring rates. One of my friends who has Dial One confirmed that he's had them a very long time without a rate increase. We highly recommend Dial One. Wish we had switched from ADT long ago.

Process went quite smoothly. Both Vince and Dave arrived on time for their appointments. Took less time than expected to install system and system seems to be working well.

Paul was very friendly and courteous on the phone. He was so helpful and definitely gave me the information I needed to stop the annoying wake-up call and to get the basics of the system functional for us.

Everything was great. I am very impressed with this company. The alarm system is very easy to use and Dave and Vince were great to work with.

We are very pleased with them. We liked the way they worked with us to install the security alarm system. Their price is very competitive. I would use them in the future.

My old home security company was sold to a national company which caused me some concern. In using a national company in the past I found they weren't as familiar with my neighborhood and street names which could cause a delay in response time. Not only is Dial One local but they come with good credentials and they are $5 less a month than my previous company.

They were very professional, showed up on time, and were very low-pressure. They explained to me what they had. I had a few other companies that were more pushy. I was considering going with them but I decided to go different route.

They arrived on time. Vincent came to the install to made sure I was happy with the system. The installer made all the adjustments that I asked for.

It went smoothly, finished within a few hours and explained how to use quickly.

They are patient and willing to work with existing equipment. Instead of them dumping an entire new security system on me, they were willing to repair what I have so that I can minimize my expenses. I would recommend their affordable pricing to family members and friends.

Came when they said they would and came back to give me instruction when finished.

Overall, OK. Some confusion between the salesman & the installer - apparently incomplete/insufficient detail from the salesman about the order. But the installer did a good job of figuring out what was needed and getting it installed in a quality manner. He also spent much time with us in going over the operation of the new alarm key pads. Unfortunately, due to the salesman's incomplete info, they had to send another installer back with expertise in floor sensors (if the salesman had indicated this in his notes, they would have sent the second installer out in the first place). The second installer completed the installation, and went over the operation again with us.

These guys rock! They did an outstanding job. They upgraded our current alarm system though we did not purchase it from them. They did not try to get me to purchase a unit from them. They worked to upgrade our current unit. They replaced a couple of missing pieces. I was not aware that we had to have a telephone inhouse before the job could be completed. So, when they came to update the unit, they could not complete it and had to reschedule to come back once we had a phone line. They were very gracious about it. They did not bill us anything until the job was totally complete. They did a great job with professionalism and tact. I really appreciate the fact that they charge $21.95 monthly to monitor. That is less than any of the places I looked at. They also tried to update my old unit at my rental home, but it was too old. They did not try to pressure me into purchasing a unit from them and only charged me $35. They were there trying to get it to work at least 2 to 3 hours if not more.

Decided to have a security alarm installed in my home after being robbed in broad daylight. Contacted dial one the very next day after the robbery and a representative came to my home that same day. Four business days later the security system was installed. Each person I spoke with from the company, beginning with my initial call to the salesperson and including the tech was very pleasant, professional and courteous. Very easy to work with, did not try to oversell. They took the time to answer any and all questions and made sure I had a working knowledge of the alarm system. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

System well set up- unfortunately some parts could not be wired and had to be wireless. We added carbon monoxide and smoke detectors as well. We have only had one false alarm and their response was very good.

After the installation appointment was made, the installer showed up on time, cleaned up after the job and generally did a good job. However, we had to spend the first hour plus talking about placement of sensors and smoke alarms as he had nothing but an order form. I expected him to have detailed specs and since it took several weeks to get the system installed - they lost my phone number, I wasn't totally clear on some of the specifics. It ended up costing more than the estimate due to poor communication and a change on my part. The whole experience was average at best as there seems to have been little communication or attention to detail from the salesman. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of choices in alarm companies so it appears that as consumers average is all we can expect and as such I'd probably end up hiring Dial One again.

They were very profession and my wife and I like to support local business. It also didn't hurt that they ended up being about $5 cheaper a month than other companies we got quotes from larger nationally recognized home security service providers.

Estimator seemed rushed and was concerned about the sale and not me as the customer. Not in a real negative way...a feeling.
