Great! The found an issue with my Nest thermostat. Gave me time to fix it. Then came back out to finish their work and didn't charge me extra for multiple trips.

Josh is an excellent electrician. He fixed a light wiring that had been an on-going problem that went unsolved by previous electricians. He also took the initiative to secure the fan, which had only one screw holding it up. Now, the fan doesn't swing when in use. For the installation of the second ceiling fan, which came without instruction, he took the time to review a manual I had pulled up from the internet to make sure it matched. Then, he installed the ceiling fan, and tested all of its functions. Though it wasn't an easy installation, setting up the new chandelier went smoothly as well. And Josh was patient as I tried to determine the right length. Overall, Josh is knowledgeable and friendly. His work was thorough and I had full confidence that it was safely and soundly performed.

Shawn Cronin provided the service we requested. We purchased a big deal from Angie's List for an hour of service in order to get a GCFI plug that wasn't working checked out, and to have our electrical panel checked for safety. Shawn worked very quickly, changed the plug, checked out the panel and rerouted a couple of things that were wrong - all in 40 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the service. I really appreciated the balance between working quickly and working thoughtfully.

Sam called to let me know he was 5 minutes away and arrived as scheduled. He did a fantastic job of installing 2 recessed lights in the ceiling. He was very thorough as the lights look as if they were built in. He then installed an on/off dimmer combo switch for the ceiling lights that was perfect. There was a light in the laundry room that you had to walk through the room and then pull a chain to turn it on. Sam installed an on/off switch on the wall so you don't have to walk through a dark room. He then tested the voltage on a switch where a ceiling fan had stopped working and let me know that it had current so that I can shop for a new ceiling fan to install. He had a drop cloth and his clean up was quick. He left his cell phone number if there was anything we had a question regarding. Sam was more than you could ask for in an electrician.

I was very pleased! Everything was done perfectly and I was amazed how quickly the service was completed. Will definitely use again as I do have additional electrical work to have performed in the near future.

The work was was completed efficiently and the electrician did a good job. Background and the problem I want to share: I had requested a "free estimate" so I would have an idea what the work entailed. The "estimate" was for THREE hours..........seemed like more time than was necessary, but since it was just an "estimate", I wasn't concerned since I thought I would only be billed for the time actually spent on the job. The job was completed in ONE hour (which even included a little pleasant chat-chat). I was thinking that was great since I had purchased a deal from Angie's List for one hour of work and the trip charge. However.....even though the work only took ONE hour, I had to pay for THREE hours because that was the "estimated" charge. The electrician was great so I did not argue with him about it, but I did call the office. The person I talked with said that the estimate is the bid and if it had taken more than three hours I would not have been charged more. Well I guess it all evens out.......I pay three times more and someone else may not have to pay as much! The only reason I'm finally sharing this is for awareness that it is not a benefit to get a "free estimate" from Craftsman Electric when the "Estimate" is actually a BID and could be triple the hours like mine was.

Electrician was very professional on this difficult job due to complex wiring on the circuit. I was impressed with the speed and professionalism. The electrician called and arrived early, allowing for a little extra time to get the job done. He kept me in the loop to decide where there might be issues and how to help track down the short. I suggested the outside circuit and he went right for it. I will definitely purchase their services again.

I was very pleased with the quality of all the work done. Workers were very punctual, considerate, and cleaned up well afterwards. They explained my options clearly, so I could make a good choice of how to improve the safety and performance of the electrical system throughout my house.

Instead, 2 men arrived (Steven and Josh) and worked extremely well, efficiently and quickly. Not only were the completely fast and professional, they gave me several opportunities to make sure things were done the way I'd prefer. an example was that I had a huge chandelier put in my foyer and I wasn't sure how high/low to put it. They offered me insight into what they've seen others do and when I asked even offered their opinions taking into consideration what I shared I was looking for. They also tended to hanging a dining room chandelier, changing out the box (which was not scheduled or part of the original deal) to accommodate a much heavier fixture and proceeded to hang over 80 crystals without so much a peep of concern. I COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY recommend them- I will use them from now on for any electrical work I need to have done!

Purchased an Angie's List deal for service because of high ratings and provider's ability to come do work at such a time that I didn't have to take off from work. Steve arrived promptly, listened to what I had to say about a problem outlet and a new microwave installation, and asked a few questions about usage, circuit breaks, etc. He quickly took care of the GFI outlet and then went about the business of installing a new outlet for the future microwave; he checked the specs of the future microwave to ascertain if the existing line would be appropriate (it was) before installing the outlet. He also gave some ideas how we might add electric for a new patio next spring--he'll be the one doing it when we're ready. Steve was as cordial, knowledgeable and professional as one could hope for in someone coming into your home to work. I recommend Craftsman Electric and Steve Schott with enthusiasm and will absolutely use their services again.

Purchased an Angie's List deal for $69. Craftsman Electric contacted me through Angie's list the same day and we got an appointment scheduled for last Thursday. Sam stopped out Thursday morning exactly when he said he would be there. He assessed the problem and gave a recommendation with an estimate. He quickly got the job scheduled for Shawn to come out on Monday morning to complete the work. Shawn came out this morning and did a great job. He was friendly, quick, and efficient. The overall cost for the work was $69 for the Angie's List deal and another $25 in materials. Would definitely recommend Craftsman Electric to anyone needing electrical services.

They were here on time and did everything possible to solve the problem. Very personable and knowledgable.

we purchased the $69 for an hour of electrical work angies list deal. They were running about a week out which was no problem for us. We scheduled an appointment for 7:30 am on Monday 9/21. Unfortunately, despite multiple calls, they did not make it on Monday 9/21. They were however able to come out the following day. Luckily our work schedules allowed for this change. When they did come, the work was completed efficiently and correctly. The electrician who performed the work was pleasant and skilled and apologetic for the mishap the day before. So, although we experienced some problem with the scheduling, I would still hire them again.

Sam & Josh were very professional, neat and quick with the project. They took down the light fixture and run the electric in a finished ceiling and only made 2 holes and cleaned everything up when done.

We purchased an Angie's List deal for an electrician. Without the deal the cost would have been $128 more than what is listed above. The service was excellent (performed by Shawn Cronin). Everything works fine. The only reason we gave a B on responsiveness is that they were so booked, it took around ten days after the initial call to receive the service.

Sam arrived about 7:40 a.m. and got right to work. He is experienced and thorough, and I felt very confident regarding his level expertise. The installations went relatively smoothly; pretty straightforward considering the age of my house. The old electric line that serviced the vent hood that used to be over the stove was sticking out of the wall (he called it a "whip"), and he needed to disable it because it was still live. The process to do so took a little time to decipher which line it actually went to, but he located it and now there is no more whip to be concerned about. For anyone needing residential electrical service, I highly recommend Sam! His manner is the right balance of professional, friendly, and enthusiastic. I just wish I had noticed the special on Angies' List for buying an hour of service for half the price--I made the appointment without thinking to check here on that!

Shawn was our electrician and he was excellent! We recently purchased a home and were having trouble with some light switches and electrical lines on the exterior of the home that didn't seem to serve any function. He diagnosed where electric lines went and then installed the appropriate exterior weather proof light switch.
