We paid over $700 to find and fix a circuit problem in our home. They were unable to find the problem after 2 visits. My son, who is an electrical engineer, found the problem and fixed it in 30 minutes. Craftsman money wasted. I complained and they did not respond.

Workman was on time and helped me go on Amazon to order a remote I needed. He did a great job. He does need to return because I did not have the correct type of equipment but I am satisfied with what he did.

contracted Craftsman to wire a very extensive basement finishing project that I started over a year ago. This was my first experience with Craftsman, and my impression going in was that they have a reputation for being expensive. While they were not the low bidder on my job, the level of professionalism, quality, and peace of mind that comes from a job well done is entirely worth it. Their system for quoting, approving the job, and scheduling the work is very impressive. The gentlemen (and that's exactly what they were) who came to do the work were completely professional, friendly, and efficient. Given the size of the job, there were remarkably few areas requiring clarification, and these were communicated efficiently and effectively. I couldn't be more impressed.

Buyer Beware…..I just wanted to share something that just doesn’t sit well with me…..We were hit hard, so to speak, of the terrible 10 minute storm last week. We had, one of the biggest trees, on my street, split in thirds ripping every wire attached to our home including electrical off our home. There were live wires everywhere. So Duke comes out and fixes their portion….which meant tying the electrical to the house but was told an electrician would have to complete a portion. So I called Craftmans Electric in Kenwood. They explained that they could come out that day but it would be $135/hr plus and extra $60 because it was after hours (after hours means after 4 pm) The $135/hr starts when they begin the drive to your house and can’t tell you how far away the last job was to estimate how much you’re paying just for them to arrive. So they come, charge us for 3.5 hours, plus $60 plus….so $135x3.5=472.50+60= $532.50. Our final bill comes to over $1000. (they said they had to replace 25ft of wire and had to stop off and buy it on the way) THEN….only after they’ve finished explained that $250 of that was a required inspection that would need to be done in the next few days. So we had it scheduled for the following morning. I was home ALL day and never heard a doorbell ring or knock on my door. I get a text in the afternoon from my husband wondering where I’ve been because Craftmans Electric informed him that we were getting charged and additional $75 for being a “no show” for the inspection. I was home ALL day. Apparently they needed to come in to inspect our fuse box….so whatever at this point. So they’re scheduled for the following morning between 8-noon. I wake up at 7am. I sit in my family room (which overlooks the front door) ALL day. At 10am, I call the company and they assure me someone will be there by noon. Noon comes and goes and nothing, so I keep waiting. By 2 o’clock they’ve still not come and I ask my husband to call. He calls them and calls me back to inform me that they did in fact come, put an approval on the exterior work and NEVER in fact needed to come inside after all. So I told my husband I was very uncomfortable with them charging us an extra $75 for them to say I no showed an appointment that I was home for ALL day and then turns around the following day and ”no showed” me during our scheduled time 8-12noon. Bottom line tbey were trying to charge us an extra $75 for something I never needed to be home for in the first place. So my husband called and told them we would not be paying the extra $75 to which their reply was, “fine, but don’t ever call us again, we won’t service you again!” Then today, a bill arrives. I’m not sure what kind of monkey business they’re into but what they originally said it would cost and what it actually cost were vastly different. I just don’t feel they were being honest. 🤦♀️

Bryan from Craftsman was top notch! Prompt and courteous. Diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs/replacement. Double checked to make sure the new breaker was working ok before he left. Very happy with the service! Highly recommended and will be using them for my electric needs going forward.

An outdoor electrical outlet that also connected to outdoor lighting and garage lights/opener needed to be replaced. I contacted Craftsman on a Sunday and they were in touch with me on Monday morning. They texted to confirm the appointment on Tuesday and on Wednesday Jonathan texted before arriving. When he got to my house, he fixed the outlet in under an hour for $70 - previous estimate from another company was almost $500 (not to mention a $90 service fee for giving me that estimate). Jonathan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I have already shared Craftsman info with friends and family as we are always looking for good companies to work with on our homes. I highly recommend and will use them again in the future!

Contact and scheduling was prompt. We discussed the scope & estimate, and the electrician (Curtis) subsequently arrived fully prepared. All jobs on the list were completed plus another he had time for me to tack on. Invoicing was detailed and already included the Angie's discount. This engagement was painless, professional and met my expectations. I fully intend to have Craftsman back for another effort in the Spring.

Showed up on time, did the work quickly and did an excellent job. Technician was super efficient, professional and friendly. Price was about half what I received on another quote. I'd definitely hire again and also recommend them to others.

Best choice i ever made! These guys were honest and, while not always telling me what i wanted to hear, did a great job of fixing another contractors work.

Awesome! I've used Craftsman Electric in the past and just did again. This time it was for a variety of small jobs, plus getting an estimate for a bigger job. Called the office, who listened to all of my issues and then said Josh might need to do an estimate. Josh called back to talk through what I needed and made an appointment for me with Dallas a few days later. They send a reminder of the appointment and Dallas arrived right on schedule maybe even a couple of minutes early and he was awesome! A friendly guy and a great communicator and he busted out my variety of issues quickly. I love also that when my buzzing chandelier turned out to be a lightbulb issue and not a short in the wiring, he actually texted me the exact lightbulbs and what aisle they were in at home depot. The chandelier is so quiet and peaceful now! He also helped fix a baseboard heater and broken outlet outside and both work like a charm now. In addition, I wanted one of the heaters raised a bit so it wouldn't sit on the floor and he did that too. Maybe it's all the little things that add up, like friendly, clearly an expert, prompt, good communication, etc. but I'd give them an A+++++.

It went great! Called to make an appointment for someone to come out and give me an estimate of the work I wanted completed. The person answering the phone was very professional and pleasant. She scheduled a time with me two days latter for someone to come out. Two days later, he arrived on time, reviewed what I wanted done, took pictures and emailed me a quote later that day. After I accepted the quote, it was 4 weeks before they could fit me into their schedule. I had seen their reviews, so I knew they were busy, so waiting was not a big deal for me. On the day the work was to be done, EXACTLY at 7:30 (the time I selected), two guys arrived to begin work. I was nervous about how they were going to install my post light because I have concrete footers in the yard (where stone planter boxes once were) that they would have to deal with. When I shared my concern, the more experienced worker smiled and said, "we like a challenge". Right then I thought, "ok, they've got this". And it turned out to not be a big deal. Both gentlemen worked all day and finished around 3:30. They cleaned up everything and everything looks wonderful! I will use them for all future electrical needs. Highly recommend.

Craftsman Electric was great. Our electrician showed up on time, with a mask for our protection and treated our house with respect. He was very professional and easy to work with. We had a weird issue with the whole house having lights flickering at random times. Our electrician checked our panel and did a reasonable diagnostic method on the issue. When he still wasn't sure, he called another electrician to brainstorm other ideas. In the end, they stated that all signs pointed to the transformer. We called Duke Energy and they sent someone out and confirmed the transformer needed to be replaced. It was so nice that the pricing was clear and fair. Our service fit within the 1st hour and there was no attempt to overprice or mislead. I can officially stop looking for any other electricians. Great experience with the company.
