Description of Work: I purchased the "big deal", but the earliest Craftsman Electric could schedule me was two weeks out. I asked Angie's List for a refund because two weeks was a little too long of a wait for what I needed completed.

Description of Work: The technician, Steven, installed an outlet installed for a garbage disposal in the kitchen and repaired a severed wire for an existing outlet in the living room. He was professional and friendly, and we are satisfied with the work he did. He communicated with us throughout the process, explaining the options to make sure that we would be happy with the results. I believe it took about an hour and a half. We applied the Angie's List Deal to the total bill (I included the cost of the Deal in the "cost of service" with this review). We also discussed adding overhead lighting in our dining room. He advised on the potential costs and work time. We are saving that project for sometime in the future, and we plan to use Craftsman Electric for that as well.

Description of Work: They installed 2 ceiling fans and hid cords in my wall for a TV mounted on the wall. The two technicians were very good. They arrived on time, installed the items within the time frame, and cleaned up everything when they were done.

Description of Work: Walter Stewart fixed 4 electrical problems - 1) Front door bell needed new button switch 2) Master bathroom ceiling lights fixed 3)One of our hall ceiling lights was faulty, and he fixed it. 4) 2 main desk under cabinet light fixtures had to be replaced. He also made a trip to Home Depot to get the parts needed. Excellent service. Very pleasant experience for my husband and I. Thank you so much.

Description of Work: The three light switches to our hallway were not working properly. husband bought new switches and tried to fix the problem to no avail. When the Craftsman Electric representative arrived, he quickly corrected the connections, and everything was fine. He was very professional and efficient. We took advantage of the Angie's List special offer of $69 with Craftsman Electric, and we're very happy we did.

Description of Work: First visit the serviceman came and inspected my concerns. My home is older and still has some knob and tube wiring. I needed to know what it would take to remove what was left and then address some switches and a new chandelier I wanted hung and two outside lights. It did take a little longer than it should have to get the quotes of the work but it was very detailed. | |After looking at the quotes I decided not to address the knob and tube at this time due to cost. Craftsmen was a little higher than my previous quote but not out of line. |I used them to address a couple of switches that needed replaced. When the service man went to install the new lighting, it was discovered there were no boxes installed. He had to install the boxes and then the lighting. He would show me what he was running into, explained everything and made sure everything was hung and operated the way I wanted it. I was very pleased and will use craftsmens for my next electrical need.

Description of Work: We purchased the Deal and called the company. They told us it would be three weeks before they could get us on their schedule, which was too long of a wait for us, so we decided to call other companies.
