This company came out on the same day I called them. It only took them about an hour to fix the garage door. This company works very good and I will definitely use them again in the future.

One of the springs in my very old, very heavy wood garage door broke. The estimator was great to work with. Although this first meeting was for an estimate, he did help me get the door open (probably needed three guys to do it 100% safely) so I could free my car. That turned it into a service call which resulted in a $94.95 charge that I didn't include in the job cost above. My job was particularly challenging because of the odd size of the door and low side clearance. That and other factors meant two installers had to come which doubled my labor charge. The springs were non-standard, so they had to be ordered. I was originally misquoted $400 by someone in the shop who was not familiar with my case. The original estimator quickly called me back to let me know it was more like $700. Once the springs arrived, we scheduled an appointment and the installers came out. After 2.5 hours, the springs were installed but I was informed that they were the wrong springs. The door would only open about 5.5'. They did not collect payment that day and the springs were reordered. A few days later, the springs were in and another appointment was scheduled. This time, the springs are the right size and the door opens all the way, but there is a 1.5" gap at the bottom due to the door rubbing the jam. The door used to close all the way. I plan to chisel out some of the jam to see if that doesn't resolve the issue (the door has already eaten away its share of the jam). They offered to come back out and adjust the door if I could fix the rubbing, but the door still didn't close all the way. I would recommend Cincinnati Door & Opener again, but non-standard installations may require substantially more time. Liked: - The estimator's a good guy, easy to work with and helped me free my car which I couldn't do on my own. - Initial response time was great. I called on a Saturday and they were out the following Monday. - In three total trips to my house, everyone showed up on time. Didn't like: - Misquoted the job - Charged a service fee for the initial help even when they got the job (I didn't complain about this, they might have credited it back if I had). - Door doesn't close all the way. Who knows who's fault this is, but it's on me to fix it. - Wrong springs ordered first time, but garage was usable for my small car while the right springs were on order.

This was the first time I had used their services. It went well. I found them on Angie's List and I had a coupon so I used them. They were very responsive to the questions I had and their availability was excellent.

I called at 11am. Work was completed at 4pm, same day. I had a broken spring on my double garage door. Both springs were replaced quickly and efficiently. There was no problem with the other door but since the spring was 18 years old I decided to have it changed now rather than later. This was totally my decision, there was NO pressure at all to have this done. Very satisfied!

I liked that they responded quickly to my request. They came out in a day or two. They really worked with me to try to get me scheduled. They were very close to the time we had scheduled. The only thing I didn't like is that I felt like I had to push him a little bit to find out options to get the track fixed. It seemed like he was just going to leave it, but after I asked him he took some tools out and bent it so it would work.

One of the springs on my garage door broke & one cable was badly frayed. The technician came out the same day I called, replaced both springs, both cables, & replaced the rollers for me as well. The job took longer than originally expected, but I was not charged for the extra time out. When the job was finished, we found my garage door opener was not working properly either, it was 30yrs old & long overdue for replacement. After discussing options, the technician came back another day, at a time that fit my schedule, & installed a new opener at a very fair price.... and No mess was left behind!!!

They gave me quick service. They did a good job and had it all done in one day. I thought their price was very reasonable. They showed me how to make the opener in my car work so it opens.

These guys are great. They showed up first thing on the next day after the holiday. They found the problem and fixed things in less than a half hour. They had all the right parts on the truck to do the job. The technician was very friendly yet professional.

The project was done when they had promised that it would be done. The project went well. I would use them again in the future if I had the need. They were very friendly and trustworthy. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I would recommend them to friends and family.

They were so far so far. I've only used it a few times since they replaced it so its worked good so far. They were professional and on time.

They are very good and they are professional. They clean up behind themselves. They show up on time and clean up behind themselves and they just take the time to do the job right. Sometimes the guy they send out does rush a little bit. But they will make thing right.

My first contact was with Steve. He was very pleasant on the phone. I made an appointment for the following day. The serviceman showed during the time window I was given. He was a nice young man. He did the work in a timely manner, and both doors seem to be running much smoother now. One minor complaint is that he could have been a bit neater with the lubrication, but that small detail did not spoil my overall experience. I also received a $10 off coupon because I told Steve I had learned of his company from Angie's List.

Excellent! I called them on 3/17 and the tech came on 3/18. The situation was assessed and a new door was decided upon. That was chosen and ordered, and was then installed on 3/27. We are very pleased with the service, workmen, and product.

A very professional serviceman showed up the day that I called (within 2 hours!). Quickly assessed the repair work, and corrected within 1 hour. My two garage doors now operate beautifully.

The technician (Tim) showed up on time and promptly diagnosed the problems. My door no longer sticks and is quieter than it has ever been. All work was completed in about 30-35 minutes. I would definitely recommend this company in the future.

Called in, spoke with Steve who was extremely professional/polite- Shane was dispatched to my house within a couple of hours. He repaired the door quickly.... I asked him to replace the bottom seals, and he suggested I change the rollers as well (very worn). He did a great job and was thorough and polite as well. I really like these guys and wouldn't hesitate to call them again!

Steve scheduled appointment for the same day I called. Nick was available sooner than promised and called to check if we would like him to come earlier. Nick was personable, punctual and professional. Both doors were opening smoothly and quietly before lunch. With coupon and senior discount, Cincinnati Door provided excellent service and value.

The main problem was diagnosed on my original call. A service visit was made at my earliest available time. The work was done quickly and completely.

HE GOT THE DOOR FIXED AND DID A GREAT JOB.

The serviceman knew what he was about, was quite willing to explain a lot of things to me, told me what I could do so I was less likely to need their services as soon. In short, these are the kind of people I will keep using and recommending.

Very accommodating and very professional. I've had other companies come out, but these guys did some basic things to improve the function which could have been done by the others, but wasn't.

Our garage door stopped working and was just making noise. We were even having trouble disengaging the motor so we could manually close the door. We called on a Friday and were told a repairman would call us the next day between 8am and 9am. Shane did call and schedule a time to come out that Saturday morning. He explained what was wrong with the garage door and opener and gave us an estimate. He replaced an internal gear and three pulleys, lubricated the system and also cut and smoothed off a bar (attached to the door) that used to hang down and get in our way when we opened and closed the door. The door works much better now. Shane was patient and explained how to manually operate the door in the proper way. Our only complaint -- and part of this may have been our fault -- was that we thought the $90 quoted for the service call was the minimum charge. Turns out, it was on top of the labor and parts charges. Overall, it was a job well done.

The service was scheduled within 24 hours (technically 18 hours as I called after 5 pm yesterday and the service is complete at 1 pm today). The technician, Tim showed up within the expected time window and the doors are operating great!

Arrived promptly. Worked efficiently. Cleaned up afterward.

It was very smooth, they came out same-day on both visits and worked very quickly and solved my problem both times. The technicians were friendly, helpful and easy going. The first job cost $90, because of the service call minimum. The second was only $20 because they treated it as a follow-up to the first job, which i really appreciated.
