Cincinnati Door & Window

We had a great experience working with Cincinnati Door & Opener, from the estimate to the installation. During the installation there was a minor mishap with one of the sections of the door. The workers put in a temporary fix until another section could be ordered and installed. They were easy to work with and very meticulous about the finished product.

I called on Thursday and they came out on Saturday morning. I was told I would receive a call in the morning between 7:30 and 8:30 and be given a time window to expect the serviceman. At nearly 7:30 on the dot they called and told me they'd be there between 8 and 9. They showed up just after 8. The serviceman was friendly and upfront about pricing. He completed the work in just under an hour. For the work done, I feel that it was done pretty quickly and for a fair price. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

I was told by another garage door company that I HAD to replace our garage door because ours was so old. I had backed into it and irrreparably damaged it. No, they could not just replace the panels, too old. So, I called Cinti Door and Opener after seeing Angies List and their reviews and am I ever so grateful! A technician came by and asked if I wanted to replace it or if I wanted to fix it. He said that he would guarantee the parts and labor for a year but if I or my husband was not satisfied with the work, we could use the bill towards the purchase of a new door. Of course, I am ecstatic that he fixed it and we didn't have to spend a thousand dollars on a new door. When we do eventually replace it, it will be through this company because they were sincere, honest, hard working and kind.

Excellent service. Tim arrived 2 hours after my phone call and finished the work in 30 minutes. Very professional, thorough, explained what he was doing.

Called on a Thursday. Serviceman showed up on time on Friday. He confirmed the obvious, there were two broken springs. Apparently these were custom springs and had to be ordered from their supplier. Serviceman returned on Monday, a bit earlier than scheduled, and completed the repairs / replacement in a professional manner. My only negative: I feel the service call fee of $95 was excessive. It was charged however, only for the first day. A coupon and senior discount were applied to the actual work but not the initial service call.

It went great! Cincinnati Door and Opener had no trouble dealing with some of the non-standard aspects of my older home. I had the technician do the work the same day he provided his initial quote. He knew his business and got the job done promptly and efficiently. He then programmed my car and key pad and showed me how it all worked. He also replaced the rubber piece on the bottom of the door to allow it to seal better.

Fantastic. The repairman was here the day after we called. In less than an hour, he found the problem, replaced the broken components, and fixed other issues that weren't stopping the door from opening but were potential future problems. The garage door is now quieter than it has been in 9 years. When we eventually decide to replace the door, this is who will get our business. Prompt, friendly service!

I thought the price was reasonalble. They were professional and perfectly matched my existing garage panels.

Called for service and arrived same day. Repaired malfunctioning electronics and door functioning properly.

The service man, Jim, came out the same day and thoroughly checked out the opener that had started making a chirping noise and looked for the cause of a burning odor. He lubricated the mechanism and also looked at my other door opener and door and lubricated it as well. He was very professional and courteous. The door works perfectly.

It is amazingly quiet. The motor failed about a month later and they replaced it no roblem. This report is regarding their most recent visit - our opener had stopped working. We were able to get them to come look at it the day after we called. It turns out the lasers/lights were not aligned. They fixed it and did not charge us anything.

Excellent, very helpful, even helped me to reset my other garage door keypad (I could not do that b/c I did not have my owner's manual from previous owners). Called into the shop to get the directions and helped me to reset it.

Good. I had to order the door about 4 weeks ago, but as we just moved in, we've been using the garage to store/unpack/sort stuff. We were in no hurry. They got the door we wanted, called and set up the installation, and arrived that day to set it up. The door is much nicer than the old one, insulated, and looks great. I compared their prices to some others. They're a bit high, but I've had not-so-great experiences with some of their competitors. I believe I got what I paid for, overall.

Just great. The installer told us exactly what the issue was, how long the 'fix' should hold, what are options were and estimated costs. Very honest. And he knew we were short on time and did a great job in no time for a really reasonable price. Oh, and because we were going on vacation the very next day they squeezed us in the same day we phoned!

The door opens promptly and quietly. CD&O didn't try to sell us a new system or tell us we needed to replace the opener system or door.

Jim did a great job. He is very professional, kind, courteous, competent. This is the third time we used this company. I will call again if needed.

They came out within 24 hours and repaired the door. Service was on-time, customer service was friendly and professional. Price was reasonable. Overall a very good experience.

My door quit working -- found this company on Angie's list -- called, and they came out the next day. The repairman called and showed up when expected. He had to go back for a different part but didn't charge extra to do that. The repairman was pleasant and professional and got the job done quickly. And my garage door works! I'm delighted.

excellent. When they came to the front door, they also pointed out a problem we just became aware of regarding our front door and large window and recommended a good solution. We are so pleased with them on this first job, we will have them repair this additional area also.

I was pleased with the work. It was the coldest day of the winter so far (single digits) and the repair person worked cheerfully and thoroughly in an unheated garage. He took time to explain the workings of the door and helped me program my vehicles. A few months later, I called them for help with a problem and they were able to help me fix it over the phone without making me have a paid service call.

Called in the morning. The serviceman came by in the afternoon. Was courteous. Analyzed the problem immediately. Repaired the problem. The door works better than it ever did. He replaced the springs and did some preventitive maintenance.

They are excellent workers. They did everything they could to solve the problem. They explained it very clearly and I could trust what they were saying. They were honest, telling me if something was going to cost more money. They were on time and even came out on a weekend.

I described the problems we had with the door. He checked the most likely problem, found his suspicion correct, showed me the problem, and replaced the gear. He then tested the door, realized the cables and springs needed some work, and took care of the problems. He retested the door, and found the work satisfactory. He then filled out the bill and pointed out the warrantee times. I had suspected the entire unit would need to be replaced. By replacing only what needed replaced, we ended up paying less than half of what we expected to pay. Overall, we are very pleased with the service we got.

When we called to set up the service, they were able to schedule within 2 days. I had to run home at lunch to meet them, and they were right on time. The roller replacement was optional, but I was able to see the wear on the original ones, and felt that addition was wise; plus, quiet operation is important to me. The technician was knowledgable and professional.

Both technicians assessed the problems and fixed them in a very short period of time. The first was simply an adjustment on the drive unit. He also adjusted the spring tension and honored a coupon. The second call required a part replacement which took only about a half hour. Overall I'm very satisfied and highly recommend these guys.
