My experience with them was very good. They provided very timely service. They were very helpful in identifying the problem and fixing it quickly. I had a coupon with Angie's List and they were very helpful with that.

The service went very well. My gargae door opener was not working. I called this company because of positive Angie's List reports and a $119 "tune-up" special, but I wasn't sure I needed it. The customer service rep I was speaking with said I could wait and talk to the serviceman to determine the need. If I decided to go with the special I could get online and do it then. She didn't try to push me into it. In scheduling, when I wasn't going to be available for the service call the next day, she said she would fit me in that day. The technician arrived shortly after that. First he took a look at my rollers and other parts for the tune-up and said he didn't suggest doing this. He, again, didn't try to push me into it. Then he immediately found the source of the problem (breaker panel). He didn't have the part on his truck and said he could get it by the next day and replace it then. I was disappointed because I knew I wouldn't be available for him to do the service for another week. When he learned this he offered to go get the part immediately and return in about an hour and do the repair. He did this and shortly there after I had a working garage door. The customer service rep and the technician were very professional and friendly and very customer focused.

The technician who performed the reconditioning was friendly and clearly explained why I had been having trouble with getting the door to close all the way. When the spring broke a week later, Cincinnati Door & Opener responded promptly - someone arrived within a few hours and repaired the spring at no additional charge. He said that most companies would tell me I needed a brand-new spring and charge me for the part.

The rep who visited us did a fabulous job of explaining his product, answering our questions, and in general, making us feel like he offered something we wanted to buy. As I mentioned above, the differences between his product and the one we ultimately decided to buy, mostly came down to aesthetics. This company was our second choice - but not by very much!

After he replaced the rollers, it was much more quiet when the door opened and closed. It was a good experience overall. He was personable and did good work. The work didn't take long to finish.

They were on time and did the job. It was quick and easy.

I got a few estimates over the phone for replacing an extension spring. I choose Cincinnati Door & Opener because of cost and coupon. Jim showed up right on time and was very professional & polite. He showed me what was wrong, how he was going to fix it and that the other door had smaller & weaker extension springs than it should (different gauge wire). I had been having a few issues with that door.The spring had broken a few years earlier and replaced by another company. Jim installed all four extension springs and safety cables, lubricated the two openers, checked the lights (replacing one) and lubricated both systems in a very short time. Both doors seem to go up more smoothly and are more quiet now. Jim was great and Cincinnati Door was a good choice.

Had new doors put on by a subconrtactor while remodelling the home which we bought last year. The contractor was worse than incompetent. Large gaps around the doors were not fixed and although he replaced the rails, the safety sensors on both doors were continually misaligning and thus not allowing the doors to close, causeing endless trips in and out of the garage to close the doors. Called these guys because (1) Angies List recommended them and (2) had used them in our last house. They showed up same day, diagnosed the sensor problem as the sensors being attached to the rails instea dof the walls and thus going out of alignment with the vibration of the doors opening and closing. Also adjusted the doors so there is a smaller gap (although previous guys incomeptence made it impossible for a 100% fix). Would I use them again? Of course! The price was right and the service flawless: fast and competent.

Great Experience! We've had several different companies over the years out to do garage door repairs when needed; and these were by far the best. The difference in our garage door performance is amazing. It's so quiet now!! The company was punctual and professional, and we recomend them.

Crew was on time. Workmanship relative to the installation was way less than expected given the other reviews listed. I was not present during installation. Upon getting home from work and examining the work I found fasteners stripped and loose, missing fasteners, fasteners that were missing washers and pulling thru brackets, bent brackets. I called and got answering service. Left a message. Tried to send an email to address listed on invoice but received failure report due to non existing email address. Went to their website and found the actual email address versus the misprinted one on the invoice and sent images. I am looking for a way to attach these images to this report. Will wait for a response. However for a $1200 garage door installation I should not have to be the quality control inspector nor should it be acceptable to require rework.

Garage door is an old wood construction that was very noisy in operation and was not sealing very well at the floor and at the top edge. A technician came over and lubricated and adjusted the tracks and power screw making a huge improvement in the noise during operation. Unfortunayly there was some miscommunication about the size of the garage door so the seal strip materials he brought were the wrong size. He came back next day and installed a rubber strip on the base of the door and a sealing strip at the top. Although its not a perfect seal he did the best he could and I am pleased with the result. He did not charge me additional labor costs other than the standard $99 for the first visit.

Overall - great service - didn't realizise how much a difference reconditioning can make.

Appointment made and service tech arrived on time and went about replacing the nylon rollers on the 1st garage door for $119, the 2nd garage door was $70. What a huge sound difference it made. I can hardly believe it. Both garage doors used to sound the "The Beast" roller coaster at Kings Island. Now it just purrs. I can't believe I put up with that racket for so long. If I had not received a "big deal" I don't think I would have thought to get them replaced. Very Helpful!

I got a special and they did a marvelous job. It was very quick, the guy was very efficient, and we were surprised at how quickly they came out. They came out right after we called which was amazing. The price was very good and the work was excellent.

Garage door came off track, traping my car inside the garage. Called this company from Angie's list at 12:30 and they came out at 1:30 and fixed the door in 15 min., then performed an annual tune-up. I asked about replacing some parts and was advised that it was not needed, all was working fine, thus saving me money. Can't get any better than this experience.

Very prompt. I signed up for a Big Deal and received a call within 5 minutes of submitting the request. Rapid turnaround on the job, and very fast once the technician arrived at the house. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I would gladly use this company again for garage door needs.

I've used them before and since I called them through Angie's List they had a coupon, so I was able to get my work done at a cheaper rate. I've never had any issues with them and they have always been responsive. They explain everything that they are doing and they also check other things. I've always found them to be real good.

Our vehicle was trapped in the garage due to the damage. The service man showed up and said he would get it taken care of right away, and he did. He offered to service the door as well. I did not feel as though he was searching for additional work, but making sure everything was working well so they would not have to come back. He was very prepared. My husband had just installed a new opener and he offered to make sure everything was set up right. We called them when we got home for a late Friday appointment. They said it was no issue. Cincinnati Door & Opener provided good customer service. I have already referred them to my neighbor.

They provided good service, and the quality of their product was good. The professionalism of the installer was good. The doors have stood up very well; it has been eight or nine months now, and it works very well. Indeed, I called them back for a problem with misalignment - the door wasn?t closing properly - and they came within 24 hours and repaired it. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were great. They came out on time for the estimate and were upfront and honest to give the bid right away. They came in and got everything installed quickly. They were easy to work with. The garage door seems to be working perfectly and we are very happy. I spent $1000 on that work.

The repair person showed up at the time agreed upon. In additions to assessing the primary problem he checked the tracks & the rollers. He pointed out exactly what it was about the rollers that indicated that the bearings were worn. He completed the whole job in about 30 minutes. The door works great again and is now very quiet. It's obvious that the rollers were in need of replacement. I appreciated the fact that he was pro-active in suggesting that be done so as to head off future problems.

Our garage door spring broke and of course the car was stuck inside! I called Cinci door and they had someone in my area. They were able to get here within and hour nd fixed it within 30 minutes. Greet service, fair price, and professional work. What more can you ask for?

They were able to come out before anybody else. They were here within a week. I brought up some issues with the door which I did not think were right and they did not seem to care. I was not really happy with the guy they sent out. I guess they have installed it correctly as it is still working but I think there are more issues and they should have looked at it. They were the cheapest of all. After the issue was brought to the attention on the company, they have came out since and satisfied my needs 100%

I purchased the Big Deal, and I'm glad I did! My garage door had suddenly stopped opening, and I was way, way out of my element so I bought the deal. I was initially skeptical because I assumed that they would be incentivized to "find" something really wrong, but the reviews were all so positive I decided to take the leap. I called on Friday, and they came out on Monday, gave a two-hour window and a 1/2 hour call ahead, which was great because I could just run home over my lunch break. The technician took one look at the motor and knew exactly what the problem was, serviced the door and then fixed the problem, all for just the original $59. There was no attempt to up-sell, and he was a complete straight-shooter. I highly recommend them.

The repairman arrived the next day and replaced the damaged down track being careful to check the alignment so that the door would descend easily. He reanchored the down track and did minor repairs on the splintered wood. He was pleasant to deal with and competent in his work.
