Cincinnati Door & Window

Our garage door broke and was stuck in the open position. The next morning, I called Cincinnati Door and Opener, Inc. and was told a technician would call me shortly to give me a window for his arrival. I got a call saying he'd be there between 11 am and 3 pm. I told him that was fine, but I would be gone from 11:45 until 1:15 while I got my daughter from school. I told him that since the garage door was open, if he had to come at that time he could go on in and start to check it out. I was surprised when he pulled into our driveway just as I was pulling out to get my daughter - I would have thought that he wouldn't plan to arrive during the exact 30 minutes I said I wouldn't be there, but he got to work anyway and was finished by the time I got back. He showed me what the problem was and gave me the invoice. I was really pleased because we were afraid the garage door would need to be replaced. This is the second time I've used this company and both times we were given a "diagnosis" that was honest and much less serious and expensive that what we'd feared.

Removed old barn doors, installed new garage doors, installed new garage door openers. Price was good in comparison to competition. Service was good, both from the estimator and from the installer. Doors work great and look really nice. I'd recommend them and would use them again.

Called on Tuesday evening after hours and was pleasantly surprised to get a live answering service. Call was promptly returned by Steve the next morning. I was able to get a sevice call within 2 hours! Greg replaced the garage door opener quickly and efficiently. Great, professional service. Will definitely use this company again.

I called for an appt for a Friday and I was told they could call between 8 - 9 am to give a time when to expect them, My husband was home and he was very pleased with their promptness, attitude, and showing/explaining to him what was being done. We had been having trouble with the garage door before they came, but after their tune-up the door was quiet and worked like new. I just called them again today because the door decided not to open this morning. I told Steve what it sounded like, the chain wasn't moving however the motor sounded like it wanted to work. We got the garage door open manually. He knew exactly what the problem is and will be out later this week to fix it. He is only charging us for the parts, not a service call charge. I'm glad we used them from Angie's list because we now have someone we trust to call for any future garage door problems and know we will receive excellent service.

They were excellent. They were very friendly, very professional and very fast. I would absolutely recommend them to others. The price was very good. I think we spent $400. The quality of their work was excellent. They were responsive. They were out the next day. They were great. I certainly would use them again in the future if necessary.

Excellent. Price was great, service was great, installer was very professional and didn't mind me hanging out out chatting while checking up on his progress. I made a couple of trips to the show room trying to decide between models and each time Steve was very courteous, answering all my questions.

sedScheduled a garage door tuneup with them, office was very professional. Before they could come, my door stopped working. I called the office and told them I needed to see them sooner and the moved up my appointment. James came and did the work, I was out of town but my wife went on and on about what a good job he did and how he explained everything he did in detail. Door works great, they did the work for the original $129 without charging for any extras. Great company!

The appointment was made and the job was completed within 5 days of getting "Angie's Deal." The job was done 3 hours later than expected, but a call was made in advance to offer a later appointment that day or another day at my discretion, due to circumstances out of his control. The job was done professionally and quickly and my garage doors work smoother and quieter.

I bought the big deal for Cincinnati Door & Opener on 12/19 and decided that I would call them in the morning to see what appointments they had available. As I was fishing for the number, my phone rang and it was them. I was elated. They arranged to come out that same day. The technician showed up and had my garage door in tip top shape in no time. I was having an issue with the door stopping about 2 inches from the bottom with nothing in the pathway to cause it. Everything works fine now and I am very pleased with their work. I would definitely use this company again.

We signed up for one of Angie's BIg Deals to have maintenance done on our garage doors. The serviceman showed up on time on Friday. All rollers were replaced, one track was straightened, all tracks were greased, and the tension on the door springs was increased on this service call. On Saturday, we heard a big bang in the garage and found out that one of the door springs had broken. It is unclear whether tightening the tension on the springs the day before may had caused one to break, if the springs were just old and it was a coincidence that one broke one day after the service call, or a combination of both. I called on Monday to report the problem. A service man came out on Tuesday and replaced the springs. I had to pay for the springs but not for the service call.

This was a special rate through Angie's list. When I called them for the appointment, they were frendly and professional on the phone. I was told that they would call me this morning, so that I wouldn't have to wait around the house all day. They called first thing this morning and showed up when they said they would. The job was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I will gladly recommend them.

They were professional and on time. When I had questions, they gave me answers that were intelligent and knowledgable. It was a great experience. I would use them again.

After purchasing a new home, we called Cincinnati Door & Opener to examine the old garage door, which would only lift up on one side. James Staton arrived on time and examined the door and recommended we replace the springs on either side with 300-pound springs. He explained to us how the current springs were only designed to lift 150 pounds each and that it represented a safety issue. Having never owned a house with a garage before, we were hesitant on what the cost would be, but was pleasantly surprised when James offered us a pair of lower priced refurbished springs, with a 5 year parts warranty. He then took the time to explain pricing should we ever want to have the door completely replaced, as well as new remotes. Overall, I found him to be a professional, pleasant person who reflected well on his company.

From the company website I was able to link to the manufacturer and see what was available by style and price. Once I had settled on 2 or 3 ideas, I called for a door measure appointment. Vince showed up on time and very quickly determined the final costs for a couple options and estimated install date. This was a custom door size so it took 3 weeks for the door manufacturer to complete. On installation day, the workers kept me informed via phone of when they would arrive. Ernie installed the door and he was very methodical and professional. Drew lent a hand and kept everything nicely cleaned up. They completed the job in one day. I was very impressed with their work ethic and demonstrated experience.
