Tech arrived,assesed door operation, informed me of an issue with one of the pulleys. He recommended replacing both pulleys. Had both pulleys replaced, rollers replaced and overall adjustment of the garage door. Work was done quickly and efficiently.

I'd called to schedule an appoinment and the gentleman on the phone was very courteous and polite, and friendly, not surly, which was a pleaesant surprise! He quickly scheduled a date and time for my tune up. All in all, I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the service and professionalism of CIncinnati Door & Opener. I'd defintiely use them again and I'd won't hesittae to refer them, as well.

Technician arrived on time and completed the work quick and effectively. He explained what he was going to do and what the advantages were to the work to be preformed.

They came when they said they would come. They fixed what they said they would fix. I don't know how competitive their prices were because I don't honestly know the value of the work they performed, but it seemed reasonable to me. They were professional on the phone, answered my calls, answered my questions. I asked them to break the receipt into 2 parts because part of the job was an insurance claim (lightning strike) and they readily did what I asked of them. Overall, they were a professional shop, did the work that I asked of them at a good price. I would use them again.

After leaving a message for a service call, I was promptly (within 24 hrs) called back by the owner, Steve Penn. I told him I had purchased the garage door tune-up with nylon roller replacement and wanted to schedule a service call. It was scheduled for Sep 5 and he said the service tech would call before coming out. The service tech (Greg) called that morning and told me when to expect him. He arrived during the time frame he had given me. The service call lasted approx 25 minutes. He replaced the old metal rollers with new nylon rollers, lubed the door hinges and opener mechanism. He checked the various parts to ensure all was in working order and provided some tips on future maintenance. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and had a friendly personality. I would not hesitate to do business with this company again in the future.

Overall, they did a good job. But one door continues to squeak when closing. We were told the tune-up would take care of that.

On August 29, 2012 I purchased the Angie's list coupon deal of $129 (which is very reasonable) for the tuning and replacement of rollers. Well, Cincinnati Door scheduled the appointment for the next day, where they called me to tell me of the time estimate, and again, called me when they were on their way. The technician was very prompt and professional. Before he began the work, he checked the garage door and inspected the reason for the extension spring that fell a couple of weeks ago. The reason is that the buckles are extensively rusted. Further, there is extensive water damage to the bottom section of the door. He was right, and I could see exactly what he saw. There was also water damage to the middle section of the door as well. Instead of him doing the tuning and replacing the rollers, which he told me where new (I had them replaced foru years ago), he explained to me that the tuning and new rollers were not going to be enough, because of the rusty buckles. The buckles are extensively rusted! So instead of doing work that was not going to help me, he was very honest and suggested instead I cancel the coupon by calling angie's list and using that money towards getting a new door. He was also very honest with me that the cost of replacing the bottom section of the garage door and the two buckels would not be that far off from obtaining an installed garage door. And for a door that is more than 30 years old, that suggestion was more economical and beneficial. So, he gave me a quote, with no pressure to sign and order the door then. Instead, he wished me a great day and left. As soon as I had a chance, I called Angie's list and they did cancel my coupon purchase. So, I would definitely recommend Cincinnati Door, as they are very honest and care about the customer's needs and finances.
