I called the company and they came out just a day later. One of the springs busted and the technician changed both out and put the safety harness back. I did not purchase the big deal because I already had good rollers on and thats what he told me although they gave me the option to print out the coupon if I needed or wanted them changed. He was very knowledgeable and took care of a couple problems on the door track and some bolts getting in the way. Offered to check my other double garage door too. I think the price quoted before he started work was very fair. I would use this company again.

Came on time and worked quickly. Needed to ask them to oil a bit more which made a big difference. Also they were unable to replace the bottom door seal bc the door is now obsolete but he reattached it for me. He also helped me replace the light bulbs. Our door had gotten very loud and the tune up made a drastic improvement. They did try to sell me a new door but I am not interested at this time. Overall, I am satisfied with the service and am very happy that the door is much quieter now.

It went very well. They arrived on time, quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, and charged a reasonable fee. We were very happy with the service, and we will definitely use them again.

I signed up for the deal, made the appointment. He showed up on time, did the work and the door works great.

Never received service from them due to poor initial first impression. UPDATED: After reviewing the company's response to my review, I felt compelled to add to my review. First, my question on cost was actually right before we hung up, as in I had to jump back onto the phone before hanging up to confirm that this would be a free estimate, like other service providers on the site list--but theirs said to 'ask for details' in the Free Estimate field. If I had not asked this last second question, the guy on the phone would have hung up and let me go without telling me about the fees involved. I was NOT aware ahead of time that there should be a cost, since there are many companies on Angie's List that have 'Yes' listed under Free Estimates. And I would have been fine if he would have said, "Oh, yes, sorry. I forgot to tell you that there's a service fee..." but his response of "I thought you knew you were requesting a service call" ticked me off--since, again, I had no idea that a service call would have a cost, nor that the cost would be $99. It is not safe to assume that consumers all expect to pay when free estimates are common--regardless of the cost of gas. I don't think the intent was to purposefully deceive, just showed very poor professionalism. Ultimately I used another company that was more upfront with their service call fees. -C. Herrington

The entire service process was excellent. The initial contact was fast and easy. They were responsive and amenable to our schedule. The work was done on time and for exactly the advertised special price.

I had purchased a tune up special from them. They showed up when they said they would, they did a good job and it worked better after they left. I really don't have any way to compare it to because I have never done it before but I thought it was a reasonable price.

I called and scheduled an appointment. They were very curtious and professional over the phone. I was called by the technician the day of the appointment and given an approximate time he would arrive, which I did appreciate. Technician arrived on time and began his work immediately. After aboout 10-15 minutes, he realized that he didn't have the correct amount of nylon replacement rollers required to preform the job. He was very apologetic and explained why, which sounded reasonable. He said he could come out again and replace the remaining rollers is just a few mintues at a time that would best suit me. So, we established another date and he arrived on time, apologized again and performed the work in a matter of minutes.

When he finished I hit the remote and the door moved silently, I should say the change was startling. The old, I could hear 20ft away, with the new, Istood in my garage under the opener and could barely hear it. After so many years, models change and with improvements in safety makes this a good investment. I have small grandchildren, I would recommend updating your old units if just to keep them safe.

Called for an appointment, they were accommodating when I had to cancel my first appointment. The repairman was very nice to my son who was at home waiting for them to call. When the repairman called he was already at my house and waited for my son to get there. They had said they would give him a half hour notice, and hadn't done that, but he waited for him to get there. He was very efficient and got the work done quickly.

Grabbed a big deal and added an addtional door for service. The guys came out as scheduled, and we didnt even realize that they were there, until after they finished. The garage doors work great (one of them has not worked properly in years) and are ready for years of additional service. The performed their work, quickly and quietly, cleaning after themselves, and were very courtious. Would hire again - without hesitation.

The technician arrived on time. After inspection of the door he explained in detail why the service wouldn't fix all of the issues. He was very courteous and thorough.

Easy to schedule. Tune up of garage door and replaced nylon rollers completed with no issues. Great service.

Punctual, professional, and efficient

I called when my coupon was near expiration and was pleased to get an appointment on the following Saturday. The serviceman called me before 8:30 am, as promised, to let me know he would be out between 12 and 3 pm. I asked him for a 30-minute advance warning call, which he provided. Serviceman was pleasant and courteous. He did a thorough inspection and pointed out a number of problems with the original installation. He showed us what was causing the extra loud noise when the motor was engaged and explained the various other problems that he found. He repaired everything, then went over each fix with us. Our garage door now opens smoothly and about 80% more quietly than before. This was our first purchase of an Angie's List "Deal" and we are very pleased.

Signed up for the $129.00 new rollers special for my garage door. Since I have two garage doors, I purchased another set of rollers for the second door for an additional $45.00. They were very prompt....came out within a few days after my phone call. He did a nice job and I was very pleased with their service. Would use them again..

New nylon track rollers were installed, but no maintenance was performed. The service rep did not check for door operation, spring condition, opener function, tension, etc.

Everything went fine. We had no problems.

Every winter, our garage door would take several times to close. It would stop half way down and start to re-open. It was frustrating, but we never took the time to call for a repair. We just attributed it to the cold. So when the Angie's List Deal fom Cincinnati Door and Opener was offered, we took advantage of the deal. The technician cleaned and evaluated all parts of the garage door opener. He replaced one small part and adjusted the tension, I think. The door has worked perfectly since the service and it's been a very cold winter. Completely happy with the technician's expertise and the resulting like-new performance of our garage door opener. It was a long over-due tune up and just wish we had done this earlier. Very good service.

They were great - had a very quick response to my original inquiry. We just purchased a home that did not have an opener, Cincinnati Door provided competitive pricing for a very nice model of garage door opener. Called the morning of installation to confirm time, showed up right on target & did a wonderful job. I can't believe how quiet it is!

One garage door was coming off track and garage was folding up and bending the metal. Both garage were going up and down erratically. I had to push the button 12 to 15 times and hold them manually to get them to go up or down.
