Easy to book, came on time, did great work, garage door was so heavy to lift manually (to begin with) and we thought we might have to replace the entire door after it didn't work. Steve gave an honest quote regarding replacing springs (and not the entire door) and fixed it so we wouldn't have to struggle with the door in an emergency and we weren't able to use to the automatic opener. garage door can be lifted easily with one hand which is AMAZING! He exceed my expections with the professionalism, honesty and work. thank you!

The service fine and they did a good job. They contacted me to schedule the deal and were on time for the appointment. They cleaned up well and I have no complaints.

Called Cincinnati Door and Window (CDW) just after 5 PM on a Tuesday. Receptionist answered but service provider not available; was promised a call first thing in the morning. True to their word, about 8 AM I was called by a CDW tech who was able to schedule me for the next day (Thursday) and was told I would get a call earlier in the day with the exact time. Thursday morning I received a call informing me that the tech would be there between 1 and 4. He arrived at 1:30 and was done by 2 PM. He replaced both springs and lubed the drive mechanism. Door is incredibly quiet now! Very happy with responsiveness, punctuality, quality of work, and courteousness of the tech. Would definitely call CDW again.

He was very professional. He did an excellent job. I am very satisfied. I am really pleased with the job that was done.

It went well, but they got the job done in about 5 minutes. I expected a little more for the price, but that may just have been the deal.

He was punctual, efficient, and skilled at diagnostics. They were polite. He didn’t delay or make phone calls, he knew exactly what to do. He was experienced. My neighbor saw how good he was and made an appointment with him.

Despite the bitter cold (below zero), the service guy (Josh) did the job quickly and efficiently and explained what he did and what the company warranty was - 5 years parts and labor. I would recommend this company to friends and family.

Good . However, only at the last minute I came to know bout they only replace Nylon Rollers for one door.

Technician did a great job. Slightly altered the offer - while keeping the price the same - to better accommodate my situation. All-in-all, the company did more than they said they would do, they were on time, and the repairs are still in place.

Replaced noisy metal rollers with nylon rollers and completely lubricated all hinges and other moving parts. Don't the recall cost. It was an "Angie's Special", but was less expensive than the other companies that I shopped for the same service.

They change rollers, adjust spring and grease the tracks on both garage doors.

It went great. I called at 3pm Thursday and they had someone out at 8:45am the next day. They were able to repair the existing garage door quite quickly and charged me a very reasonable fee.

An old garage door opener (installed when the house was built in 1988) had been getting cantankerous for a few years and finally ceased moving the chain Thursday morning 11/21/13. We have a three-car garage with two doors -- the other door opener's motor (same age) is still working well. We called one of two different companies that had done maintenance on the doors in the past, and they said the soonest they could come out was the following Monday! We then called the other company, Cincinnati Door & Window, who said they could come out that day! The person on the phone asked for information about what had happened, suggested replacing the motor and existing chain drive with a new belt drive unit. offered some choices as to models, and we agreed on a unit and a price. A short time later, Mark, the repairman who was to do the work, called and said he'd would be at our home between Noon and 3 PM with all the gear necessary to perform the service. He actually arrived at around 11:30 AM! Mark was very proficient and professional, explained what he was doing and why, and offered some very good suggestions and advice about the unit he was installing, what to expect, and how to operate and maintain it. He asked about the other door opener's motor, remarking about its age, etc. We explained that the other motor was still working just fine, had exhibited none of the "symptoms" of the unit now being replaced, and we agreed that, since it wasn't broke, we wouldn't fix it at this time. Included with the new opener was a Remote Numerical Keypad to open that door from the outside without a little Remote Control unit. After Mark had programmed the code we selected for that door, he also asked if we wanted to have another code which would work the other, older, motor unit for the other door, if he could get the older motor to accept the new keypad's signal. We agreed, but told him that we still needed the other door to work with the older Remote Controls we still had, as well as the convenience button inside one of our cars that had been programmed for that door. It took a bit of doing, including Mark discussing some information with the manufacturer, but he managed to get the old door motor responding not only to the new keypad's signal, but to the signals from our other, older, remote controls as well. We really appreciated Mark's going the extra mile for us! We were extremely pleased with both the service and the personnel of Cincinnati Door and Window, and told Mark that, when the time came, we would definitely request him when the time came to replace the other motor and opener!

The tech called and gave me a time. He showed up on time. He explained what he was going to do and did it. He was fast without sacrificing quality. The doors work fine. He knew his trade.

It was an Angie' List Big Deal that we purchased. It was fine. It worked out very well. They do a good job. We've used them before. We didn't owe anything else when he left. They actually called us before we called them. It was a very good experience.

It went very well. The technician also noticed some of the rubber trim was coming loose from around the garage door. He fixed it at no extra charge. That was not a big deal, and I would have done it myself ... if I ever got around to it! But now it is done, and the garage door work perfectly. I couldn't be happier!

Very good, he got right to work and replaced rollers with very quiet nylon ones, inspected and lubed door operation, replaced weather seal at my request for a reasonable price. Would use them again.

I actually had them come out earlier than originally scheduled because my garage door buckled in the middle so they came out and inspected it. I had them go ahead and replace the door (which cost between $800-900) and while they were explaining the difference between doors all they told me is that one was insulated and one was not. I decided I didn't need the insulated one because my garage doesn't get very cold. What they didn't explain to me was that the un-insulated door is very, very loud. I've had them out since to attempt to address the noisiness of the door, but the issue still isn't mitigated.

They were punctual and the service was fine.
