Came right out within one hour of phone call. Replaced spring and made sure rest of door in good working order. Very prompt and professional.

They arrived the same day as I called. They were fast and professional and they cleaned up after they were done.

The process so far has been fantastic. Steve has been ready and willing to give me options and prices for various configurations that I've wanted. The new garage door looks and runs great. The installation was fantastic and the work area was cleaned up better than when he started.

I've had two Great Experiences 10 Years Apart In 2005, Cincinnati Door & Window Inc. installed a new garage door opener. I remember being impressed by the guy who came out. 10 years later, the torsion spring in my garage broke. I like doing repairs myself so I initially ordered a pair of replacement torsion springs. It was not my most successful home improvement project and wound up with the door partway off the hinge stuck open. I called the company at 9:30pm on a Sunday expecting to get a voicemail message. To my dismay, someone answered. Although the technicians were gone for the day she said someone would call me around 8am the next day. At almost exactly 8am, someone from the company called me and got details and said he?d call back with an appointment window. The technician (Greg) showed up during that time window. I was impressed with the work he did. I was so impressed that I asked how long he had been doing it. He told me 28 years. He did in an hour what I was unable to get done after many hours of internet research and repair attempts. Ok, so I have had excellent experiences with Cincinnati Door & Window Inc. 2 out of 2 times.

Last May, company replaced an old broken opener with new track, motor and hardware that I provided. They were very professional and really knew what they were doing. I'm a fix-it myself kind of person but realized at their prices I could not do the job myself and come out ahead. It was a really good decision - they knew much more than I would have learned from the instructions on my new opener and saved me a lot of time and hassle. They were quick, inexpensive and a pleasure to have doing the job. Made me wish there were more companies out there like them - I'd hire more work done if there were. A slight rub of the chain developed in the past couple of weeks and they were very responsive. They called me twice and showed up on the morning of the appointment but we had a snow day with kids off from school and I missed their calls. They rescheduled me for the next day with no hassles, called twice before arriving including to ask whether they could come early as they were in the neighborhood, and adjusted the door and hardware. They didn't just fix the rub - they went through several additional adjustments to make sure everything was just right. This on a day with temperature of 7 degrees when they could have just moved on to the next job quickly. They charged me ZERO for that return trip 10 months after the original install, despite my inconveniencing them the day before. Again, I wish there were more companies out there like them.

I had checked with several companies for approx. cost and received a wide range of prices, but at Cincinnati Door & Window I talked to Steve and he was very professional and shared the cost with me. He did recommend doing both springs as the door was over 15 years old which made sense to me. The work was done at our daughters home and I had told Steve that I would be the contact and he said they would call 30 minutes ahead so that I could meet them there. The tech they sent was Greg and he was very good and preformed the repairs in a timely manner. There was no pressure of trying to replace a lot of different things, but he did show me that the opener had a bad gear. The chain was about to fall off so he put a new one on and serviced the door.

They have a very interactive site that allows us to communicate on Sunday night and work completion that next day. This mattered because the door was stuck. Great experience. Will call in the future.

Not sure where to start. First of all the technician Steve was amazing. As you can see from the other reviews, this company is tops. I wish I knew about them 3 months ago! 3 months ago the spring broke on my garage door. I searched for Overhead Door of Cincinnati and guess what? I later learned that the one that comes up first is Cincinnati Overhead Garage Door. NOT THE SAME COMPANY. I can't comment on the real company but I know on BBB they have a good review. But the imitation company charged me $430 just for one spring, so avoid them! Anyway my garage door has been making a lot of noise and on Saturday jammed and one side came off track. Called Cincinnati Door & Window this morning and they were at my door within 2 hours. I used the Angie's List deal they had going for $40 credit towards a service call for $20. Steve quickly found the problem. There was no pressure to buy anything else or fix anything else. I decided to have him replace my single spring with a double springs just in case i have a future spring break I can still get in and out until the 2nd spring can get fixed. Also, he said the spring I had was the wrong spring and was not strong enough. Keep in mind he didn't suggest I buy a new spring. Just said it wasn't the proper rated spring and that the motor had to work harder to open my door. I also had him installed some rollers I had bought myself previously since I thought that was the root cause of the above noise issue. The last guy said I should replace my rollers every two years!. Told me I needed all kinds of other repairs and should just replace the whole garage door. Steve said your garage is fine! No need to replace it unless you want an insulated door. Honesty and fast service!

Fantastic service. The repair (replacement of springs on garage door) was completed less than 75 minutes after I called the company. Mark and Chris were very courteous and efficient. The actual cost of the repair was reduced from $159 to $139 by buying the coupon that provided $40 worth of service for $20.

The service was fine and I have not had any problems since.

I bought this Angie's deal because our garage door chain (in a newly purchased house) was hanging down alittle and not tight. I was not home when he came (my wife was) but he said that he couldn't fix the chain because it was already at 100% tightness. It seems like there should be some sort of fix or he could have offered to put the tune-up money towards a replacement. Instead we still have the problem of the dangling chain. However, the repairman did show up on schedule and replaced the rollers on the door as advertised.

They replaced a screw drive opener I liked better.

I was trapped. My garage door in the morning would not go up. Cables were all over the place and even disconnected from the opener I could not even budge the door open. I called at 8 am. They were there by 930 and done by 11. And honored my Angie's discount. Perfect service. Totally professional

Altogether, this service experience required three separate visits to our house. The initial call was for repair of the existing garage door -- but after two attempts to replace parts, they came out and just replaced the entire unit. I was pleased that they credited me back all of the cost of the parts; thus, I ended up paying only for the new install.
