Cincinnati Door & Window

Not real well. We asked if the door can be made to go back a bit more as its level was low. The tech said there were some issues with the original frame and tried to adjust it. It ended up that the level is even lower now. I understand it's an older and heaver door but I would have rather it stayed where it was vs. now.

!They repaired a garage door opener, a couple months later it was broken again. They came out and repaired it at no cost. The first person who repaired it forgot to lube the part. Even though there was a mistake made the first time around both technicians were very customer service oriented, and did their best. Mistakes happen, it was no big deal and the company stood behind their work with no questions asked! I would have use them again. They were great!

The technician, Greg, arrived promptly and called ahead to give me a time frame. He was very courteous and corrected the problem with the garage door chain quickly. He also tuned up both doors and programmed my garage key pad. Then he was able to homelink my car to the garage door opener for both garage doors. Highly recommend and would use again.

Provider did an excellent job...showed up as scheduled and on time. JP explained the issues we had with each door and quickly did the repairs. Well worth the money...he also pointed out issues with the doors to replace or fix later. Excellent experience.

Did not receive initial call to schedule time of installation, but after I called the office they called and were here in the anticipated time frame. Explained and tested to make sure locks would work with the structure of a very low ceiling. Installed quickly and they work great.

The installer called me the morning of the install day as promised with a 3-hour window and he arrived within that time frame. Being an older home with little clearance on the garage ceiling for an opener, all installation went smoothly. I will definitely use this company in the future.

A previous contractor told me to replace my faulty garage door opener. The technician provided through Angie's list (Cincinnati Door and Window) made minor adjustments to the garage door opener control panel, tightened the bolts on the garage door, and lubricated the track. The garage door works PERFECTLY! Thanks for being honest, and doing the job right.

I purchased an Angie's List big deal for a triple layer garage door. I was happy to hear that the price really did include everything and there were no hidden fees. I did pay a little extra to upgrade to a nicer design but I was surprised the cost was as low as it was. Installation was good and everything seems to be working great (it has been about a month). The only complaint I have is that it took a very long time from the time I purchased the deal to the time it was installed which meant I was without a garage for about 6 weeks. Part of this was was d/t me ordering a nicer door and I understand that. But they didn't put me on the schedule to have it installed until the door arrived which meant another 3 week wait. I just wish they would have gone ahead and put me on the schedule since they were scheduling so far out. However, I also understand it was mainly d/t me doing the upgrade. Overall, I would give an A. I had a quote from someone else which was much much higher so I think this deal was very much worth it. The quality of the three layer doors are nice. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

I called about 9am, explained that the cables had popped off the tensioner, and that the garage door would not open. I was told they could have someone out between 12 and 4 the same day to look at it. I received a call from the technician about 12:30, saying he'd be there around 1. He arrived about 1:15 with an assistant, looked at the problem, and explained that it was a simply fix, and he and the assistant rewound the door, lubed the hinges, and tested the door function several times. One call, no drama, $100. (The cable came loose because we left something too close to the tensioner that got caught in the cable, totally our fault.)

Will use again. Honest assessment of my situation. Lower price than anywhere else I've tried and with a longer warranty.

Installation was done by a technician who knew exactly what he was doing. Several weeks later minor adjustments were required of the sensitivity electronics, and the technician came out immediately and did the needed work free of charge. Then months later one of the rollers came off its track. The technician knew exactly how to remedy this situation over the phone. The door opener has worked perfectly ever since. I've been really impressed with Cincinnati Door and Window.

Garage door spring broke on Friday. Checked Angie's List to choose a repair contractor. Picked Cincinnati Door based on good reviews. Called on Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment. They scheduled me for the very next day....Saturday. JP called at 8am Saturday and said he'd arrive between 10am and 1pm. He showed up at 11:30am. He was done and gone by 12:30. I had a 2-spring system but he replaced with a single spring. Mainly this was because it was what he had available on the truck. He advised it was just as good. Only difference is that when one spring of a 2-spring system breaks, you still have the remaining spring to help open the door manually. My repair is covered by a 5-year warranty but the spring will likely last at least 10 years (10,000 cycles). Interestingly, the single spring is less expensive, also. They quoted my $200-something on the phone for the repair but the actual total came in at $159. JP was professional and gave me some tips for DIY preventive maintenance. Bottom line is that they made this very easy for me at what seems like a very reasonable price. Nice job.
