Everything went smooth from the time I booked the appointment until the work was completed, Doug does an excellent job, He has done a couple tubs in the past for me and it looks great every time!!! Its a great value for the quality of the service, without a doubt.

It turned out much better than I ever expected! It is totally worth the money! It is a great update for any older bathroom without being overly expensive. I highly recommend this company if you are in need of this service. The attention to detail is very impressive!

The communication leading up to the event was fantastic. Doug was prompt with returning all of my messages. The day before he was supposed to come over, our tenants informed us they wouldn't be able to be in the house as originally planned that morning, so I left the key in the mailbox, check on the fridge, and a message for Doug telling him of the situation. He arrived the next morning and was able to perform his work without any issues. My tenants and I were all very impressed with the glazing job and how clean everything was when he was completed.

As both had been refinished in the past, he quoted us on stripping the sink and tub, and then reglazing them. He gave us a firm date and instructions on prepping the bathroom. Doug arrived promptly on the date we selected, and very meticulously taped off the rest of the bathroom so as not to get it dirty, get overspray, or otherwise harm it. He was even able to strip the tub without removing the fixtures, which we had decided to keep. We checked in on Doug from time to time and it was apparent his attention to detail was amazing. The entire process took about six hours, start to finish, for the tub. The sink top he took back to his shop to reglaze there, which he returned the following week. The finished product was simply amazing compared to what it was before - it looks like a brand new tub and sink. Needless to say we were very pleased to have a brand new looking bathroom for far, far less than it would have cost us had we purchased a new clawfoot tub and a new pedastal sink. We highly recommend this company and its services. Rarely does one run across a contractor who is this up-front, honest, and dedicated to quality work.

Was right on time, came in and went right to work. Was there just one day and did an excellent job and clean up. was every professional. I have recomended him to several people.

It was great. Our tub did have some rough spots on it after reglazing and he was able to buff them out for us, no problem.

I contacted Doug for and estimate and immediately scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, he phoned to confirm his ETA and arrived promptly. Doug took a lot of time preparing the site thus insuring no over-spray onto the carpet or walls. The project was complete in just under the 6 hours that Doug had estimated. I could not be more pleased with the result. Instead of having to contract a major remodeling project to replace the tub, I have one that looks like new with minimal effort. In hindsight, there are 2 things I would have done differently: Scheduled the work in warmer weather so the doors and windows could be open - though it disipated overnight, the smell of the glaze was fairly strong I would have done the project sooner ... it looks great

After researching multiple sources, including Angie's List, to find a service provider to reglaze my aging powder pink, 1959 bathroom, I found Cincinnati Bathtub and Tile Reglazing, Inc. and left a message requesting a follow-up call to discuss an estimate. Doug called me back the same day within hours of leaving my message. He provided an estimate over the phone based upon the information I provided to him, but also agreed to visit my home for an in-person inspection to ensure an accurate estimate. During the visit to my home, Doug answered all of my questions in terms of 1)the products and process that he would use, 2)the warranty/guarantee of his work, 3)how long the bathroom would be "out of commission" so to speak once the work was completed, and 4)how the bath should be cared for once the work was completed. He informed me that my bathtub was in very good condition and would not need to be reglazed as he could tell it had already been done by the original homeowners and he also explained how he would be able to repair some of the minor cracks, etc. within the original wall tile. Once we reviewed this information and I received the estimate ($1,100.00), we scheduled a tentative appointment a week later to complete the work on the wall tile, contingent upon other remodeling/new flooring work that I was having completed in the same bathroom. When I was forced to delay the initial appointment due to delays with my flooring provider, Doug was very responsive in coordinating/rescheduling another date that would work within my timeframe and that of my other service provider. On the day the work was to begin, Doug arrived right on time and was extremely professional. I had other work going on in my home the same day and I hardly knew he was there. He took great care to ensure that the bathroom was properly vented to minimize fumes within my home and I was amazed at the amount of prep work and his attention to detail. I was curious and kept peeking to see what was going on and his attention to detail seemed painstaking to me. Doug was at my home for approximately 10 hours. Prior to leaving he again reviewed the entire process with my husband and provided an aftercare instruction sheet describing the dos and don'ts of how to maintain the surface. The final bill was exactly what he had quoted in the written estimate. In conclusion, the bathroom is absolutely beautiful, with bright white wall tile replacing powder pink tile and graying grout lines. I feel like his work went so far above and beyond my expectations and brought my bathroom into the 21st century for a fraction of what it would have cost us to do a complete remodel! The question my husband and I immediately asked ourselves is when can we have him back to do the same for our baby blue bathroom and tub. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Doug and Cincinnati Bathtub and Tile Reglazing and I can't have him back soon enough to do more work for us!

The tub and tile look beautiful; but what they don't tell you when the estimate is given is that once the tub and tile are completed the tub is virtually unusable as a functioning tub or shower. You cannot leave water on the surface, that was mentioned, not a big deal you just wipe out the tub, OK, but you cannot leave soap in the soap dish, a shampoo bottle or anything else on the surface, nothing of anything can be left touching the surface or it will be damaged; that must include a damp shower curtain? So if you have a busy family and do not want to follow everyone, including guests out of the bathroom to ensure that nothing has been left in or on the tub, or have another option for showers or baths I would not recommend anyone having their tub resurfaced, tile maybe, but definitely not the tub surface.

The work went extremely well. We are very happy with the quality and look of the bathtub after the reglazing process. It looks like a new tub! Would recommend Doug at Cincinnati Bathtub Reglazing to anyone needing to improve the look and get more life out of their tub.

Doug was professional at all times. When he had completed the reglazing he gave me a sheet with the care instructions. I am compeletely happy with the work. And I feel like I have a brand new tub.

This provider is fantastic. He and his wife were a pleasure to deal with. Doug came earlier in April to give us an estimate. He came back on April 19th to do the work. He took 13 hours that day on the job from start to finish.He arrived around 8:30 AM and finished around 9PM. He was completely business-like and professional, and very easy to work with. He work meticulously and did a wonderful job! I really can't stress enough how careful he was and how perfectly the tile turned out. He was right on with his estimate. Our bathroom looks amazing!!! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to redo their bathroom!!! You can't go wrong with this company.

He did an excellent job. I contacted Doug (owner and person who does all the work) for an estimate. He was familiar with my area and style of home and provided a quote over the phone. I called back a couple weeks later and scheduled the work. The job was a little more than he expected because our tile grout was in poor condition. However, the end result was absolutely awesome. The bathtub was in poor condition with some rust and chips in the finish. The tile was a horrible green color with several cracks and uneven grout. When he completed the job i could not believe it was the same old tub and tile. The tile and tub were both finished in a high gloss white and looked brand new. He does and excellent job.

We had previously had Doug refinish a bathtub and were so impressed with his work that we had him come back when we were getting ready to spruce up our 1925 master bath. The reglazed wall tile looks incredible (was previously an unappealing tan/brown) and it looks like a whole new bathroom! As with our other experience, Doug was prompt in providing an estimate, showed up on time each day, completed the work in the time originally quoted, and cleaned up after himself each day. He took great pains to ventilate the room and seal it after working each day so that there was no lingering odor in the rest of the house He was happy to make a stop back at the house two days later when we noticed some small drips around built-in soap dishes fixed the areas right away. You can't go wrong using this guy!

We found them on Angie's List and were able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. Douglas arrived on time, explained what he needed to do, and completed the reglazing in a timely manner. He was very professional and the finished product is great. I would highly recommend his company.

We spent $2100 on that work. It looks beautiful. It was easy to get a hold of them and they did the work very quickly. It was just great and was very nice working with them.

Doug was very prompt in returning my call to provide pricing and to schedule an appointment. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would, and the job took the amount of time he quoted. He cleaned up very well when finished and you couldn't even tell he had been there. There was no lingering odor in the bathroom and the tub looks incredible! I won't hesitate to refer him to anyone who wants a quality reglazing job done the right way!

The work was done very professionally. All debris was removed. Very little clean-up was required.

I am remodeling a full bathroom and as part of the process, I wanted to get the old (previously reglazed) grey bathtub a new look. Based on the reports here, I called Doug (did not get any other estimates) on 5/7. He picked up the phone and within 5 minutes, I had him scheduled for 5/18 8am. He said he did not need to look at the tub if it's only the tub. He would charge $400 for reglazing, and $100 extra for stripping the previous finish. He called me a bit befroe 8 am on the day he was scheduled to let me know he'd be there in 10 minutes. I showed him the bathroom, and he got to work. When I got home in the afternoon, there were no signs of him - no mess, nothing left behind. The tub looks amazing!!! He left instructions on how to take care of it. He instructed me to leave the bath window open to let the fumes air out (which they did in ~24 hours or so). I have nothing except good things to say about the job.

Amazing! I called Doug (owner) to schedule a time for him to come over to give me an estimate and he returned my call that evening. We set up a time and he arrived promptly and provided an estimate on the spot. I immediately set up a time for him to do the reglazing about two weeks later (that time worked for my schedule, he may have been able to do the work sooner). I called Doug a couple times before he did the work to ask questions and to change the color that I wanted and he always returned my calls the same day. (He does the reglazing during the day and returns calls in the evenings). He arrived 15 minutes early on the scheduled day and it took two days to complete the work. The reglazing looks amazing! Doug is very meticulous about his work and it shows. He even removed the bathroom window in order to reach the tile in the windowsill. The tub looks brand new. Why would anyone purchase a new tub when Doug can reglaze it? And the reglazed wall tile looks terrific. He even reglazes the towel bars. Definitely worth the price instead of having everything ripped out. Great experience from beginning to end. I plan to have Doug do additional reglazing in my guest bath.

Doug came at 7am and stripped and refinished 2 bathtubs. He is hard core and amazing, working til at least 6pm! They look great and I am soooo pleased with the job he did. He promised it would not smell and it did not! I should have done it sooner and if I ever need a bathtub refinished Doug is the man!

Doug was amazing. He responded to our call promptly, came over within 48 hours to look at the job and give us an estimate, and was prompt to schedule the work. He even worked us in a day earlier to help us meet a deadline to get the house on the market. On the day of the job he arrived on time, was very clean setting up all of his equipment, was friendly and answered all of our questions. He was in the house exactly as long as he said he would be, and he cleaned up after himself...there was no trace that he'd been there with all of his "stuff" for the full day. The tub and tile are GORGEOUS. They look like new -- they are so shiny and pristine! Doug also provided information about how to care for them to keep them looking new forever. Doug gets an absolute A+ from an exceptionally satisfied, long-time Angie's list user!

We could not be happier with the outcome of the job. The bathroom looks brand new. The job was completed promptly in one day.
