Description of Work: I paid for chimney cleaning through Angie's List. He did a great job of cleaning my chimney, but he gave me much dire news about all the additional work that needed to be done to the tune of $7-8,000. I got a second opinion and paid $100 for the tuckpointing that was needed on the chimney, with this person's opinion that everything is now safe to use. So they did a good job on the cleaning that I requested, but I was shocked at their recommendations to keep it safe to use.

Description of Work: They did a chimney sweep and replaced existing chimney cap. After this initial inspection, the company did a rebuild of the fire box, damper, and fixed the crown and sealed the chimney on the exterior. I feel that the company did quality work. I believe the price to be fair. My only issue was that they projected that all work would be finished in one day. It took much longer. The inside work was completed and then the representative had to come back to finish the outside portion of the work. This was put off due to scheduling (very busy due to season) and poor weather. I understand that they had no control over the weather, but my expectations was that it would be finished in one day when they finally did get to the work on my chimney. There was some miscommunication as well, because the office called and asked when I was going to pay for my services completed. I had to call back and tell them, I would gladly pay when the job was complete. Again, the gentleman doing the services was great and professional. I am pleased with the work. There were just a few complications that may or may not have gone a bit smoother. I would however use the company again.
