Mike Hesterberg was fantastic. He was on time and did a very thorough job. He was great during the inspection to show and explain his observations. He took the time to understand my situation, if I had kids (and what age), so that he could really keep an eye out for items that may present safety concerns for my family. The results were shared in a professional report with explanations and accompanying pictures. I'd definitely hire Mike again for any future home inspection work.

As first-time homeowners, we obviously had a ton of questions--Mike was great about answering everything while still staying focused and conducting a very, very thorough inspection. My husband said afterwards, "now I feel like I know quite a bit about our new house!" Mike's 40-50 page report was equally fantastic, pointing out everything from a burnt-out bulb in the refrigerator to serious issues with the water heater. Although an inspection can be nerve-wracking, I still felt like our 4.5 hours with Mike were well-spent. I seriously doubt he could have missed anything, and I feel like his detailed report (with digital pictures!) sets a great benchmark for any future problems that might arise in the house. His price was extremely reasonable, and was able to coordinate both a radon and termite inspection for us on the same day. All in all, highly recommended! We could not be more pleased.

Mike arrived on time and immediately got to work, though we had not arrived yet. When we did arrive, he began by describing in detail what he would be doing and invited us to look around the house while he worked. Once expecations were established, he began by going through the crawlspace with a fine-tooth comb, identifying safety issues and concerns we should be aware of. We left for about 30 - 45 minutes and came back to find Mike writing extensive notes and he went on to explain everything he found down there. Mike then spent a good amount of time examining the exterior of the house and the roof, followed by going through the interior of the house, the garage, and the attic (to the extent that he could access). At the end of the inspection, Mike brought up the most pressing concerns and was very intent on letting us know all the issues that we would have to deal with for this house over the years; giving us time frames, services we may need, and potential price ranges we would be looking at (though he stayed within his bounds and gave us opinions and ranges, not exact quotes). The entire inspection process took 3 and a half to 4 hours. A little over 24 hours later, we received our inspection report which exceeded 60 pages of very detailed information including indications of what were short-term necessary action items and what were long-term considerations. Overall, Mike was extremely friendly, professional, and thorough. The inspection experience was outstanding and my wife and I have already recommended him to others. The price was the best that we found and we cannot imagine how you could get a more thorough inspection from any of the higher-priced inspection companies. We would readily recommend Mike to anybody who needs a home inspection.

They were very thorough. The inspection took about 4 hours and I was onsite. I am happy with their service and I would use them again.
