They did a great job. It just took them too long to get to me. One time they had a flat tire and another time they had something else happen to where they could not come out. I had to double check the company's insurance before I would let them do the work. It took them a long time to get the insurance to me. They were responsive on the phone but they were not punctual. They offer a 5% senior discount but tried to forget taking it off the invoice. I had to remind them about it.

Only a few of the honeysuckle re-sprouted. Trees that were treated are doing as well as could be expected. The three transplanted trees all died, but we knew that was a risk.

I was thrilled. These guys really took a great deal of care and obviously have a lot of pride in their work. No slap dash here. It was an expensive project, but it took all day and I have no quarrel. The gentleman who gave me the estimate was an experienced arborist, and one on the job itself was also a certified arborist. I think that is worth paying for. Was a bargain anyway compared with the $$s I spent with the landscape company previously (before I signed up with Angie's list of course).

Amy, who answers the phone in the office was great. She was polite and quickly coordinated a visit by an arborist to my property. Dave, the arborist, visited my property three days after I called. He was very knowledgeable about trees and their growing conditions. We spent about one hour walking my property looking at each of the 15 trees on my property and discussing their condition. Two of my trees were in marginal condition and I thought that they would have to be removed. Dave gave me hope that their condition would improve if the soil conditions were improved. Dave made recommendations and gave me a written quote for the job before he left. A crew came out and did the work 3 days later (4/27/06). The crew did a wonderful job. The work was done in one day. No mess or debris was left. The work was professionally done and looked great when completed. Dave followed up with me after the job was completed to insure that I was satisfied. I strongly recommend Back Tree Service.

Trees look much trimmer, healthier and do not hang over neighbor's yard or the driveway. Trimmed wood scrap/branches was completely removed; however, left some mud on driveway. Were not sure which day the work would be performed, but did not need to be there, based on past experience.

The employees were very safety conscious. They have a good eye for trimming branches that can come out & make the tree more visibly pleasing. They also worked with my husband to pick out trees by the fence that needed to come down.

BACK TREE SERVICE WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL IN ALL MY COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM. HOWEVER, THE ESTIMATE CAME BACK $1000.00 MORE THAN THE COMPANY I DECIDED TO USE.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT WE HAVE USED BACK TREE SERVICE AND WE WILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER SERVICE. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEY DID ANY WORK, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TREE BEING GONE. CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL.

THE ARBORIST CAME AS SCHEDULED AND DISCUSSED THE SITUATION WITH US. ONCE WE SIGNED THE BID THE WORK WAS QUICKLY SCHEDULED. THE MEN WORKED HARD, EFFICIENTLY AND TOOK CARE TO BE SAFE AND TO INSURE NOTHING WAS DAMAGED. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

WE TALKED WITH THE SERVICE AT A HOME EXPO SHOW. WE CALLED AFTER THE SHOW TO ASK FOR AN ESTIMATE. THEY PROMPTLY CAME OUT, AND QUICKLY SENT US AN ESTIMATE BY MAIL. WE CALLED THE SERVICE AND OKD THE WORK. THEY WERE OUT WITHIN THE WEEK. THE WORKERS WERE VERY PLEASANT, EFFICIENT, AND DID A GREAT JOB. THEY CLEANED UP THE AREA & REMOVED ALL LIMBS. THE STUMP REMOVAL (GRINDING) CAME 2 WEEKS LATER. WE HAD HAD SOME RAIN & THEY WANTED THE SURROUNDING GROUND TO BE DRY. THEIR HEAVY EQUIPMENT WOULD HAVE LEFT VERY DEEP TRACKS. THE STUMP REMOVAL WAS QUICK AND THE WORKERS WERE VERY EFFICIENT. THEY REMOVED THE WOOD CHIPS AND CLEANED THE WORK AREA VERY WELL.

THE ARBORIST WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE. CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, DESPITE THE TREE'S DIFFICULT LOCATION CLOSE TO HOUSES AND ELECTRICAL WIRES. CLEAN UP WAS IMPECCABLE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH, THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND MORE. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND A SUPER JOB.

HAD TO CALL AND REMIND THEM TO COME OUT AND GIVE ESTIMATE FOR WORK AFTER WAITING 2 WEEKS

AFTER THEY FINISHED THE JOB, WE HARDLY KNEW THEY HAD BEEN THERE.

DID A GOOD FAST JOB VERY PROFESSIONALLY.

THEY ARRIVED AT PRECISELY THE SCHEDULED TIME! THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB OF PRUNING OUR TREES, AND THEY CLEANED UP SO WELL YOU''D NEVER KNOW THEY WERE THERE. THE ARBORIST WHO CAME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE PRIOR TO THE JOB WAS VERY HELPFUL.

SERIOUS DAMAGE WAS DONE TO MY HOUSE BY THE BACK TREE CREW IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING THE TREE. IT WAS A VERY DIFFICULT JOB INVOLVING TWO CRANES ON A TINY URBAN LOT, WITH CRANE OPERATORS WORKING BLINDLY BASED ON HAND SIGNALS FROM THE CREW BEHIND THE HOUSE, AND MY INSURANCE IS COVERING IT. BUT WHEN THIS DAMAGE OCCURRED, THE OWNERS FIRST REACTION WAS TO BEHAVE IN A SELF-PROTECTIVE MANNER AND SHIRK ANY BLAME AND POTENTIAL LIABILITY. SINCE HIS CONTRACT CLEARLY STATES THAT THEY ARE INSURED FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR DURING TREE REMOVAL, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HE WAS NOT MORE REASSURING WHEN THIS TERRIBLE THING OCCURRED DURING AN ALREADY STRESSFUL EVENT. BACK TREE SERVICE KNOWS TREES, BUT THEY ARE TERRIBLE COMMUNICATORS.

A+; WERE VERY GOOD AT FOLLOW THROUGH; THEY WERE GREAT; THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH CUT FIREWOOD AND CAME AND CORRECTED IT IMMEDIATELY; WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN

VER PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH THEM. VERY WORTH WHOLE EXPERIENCE. PRICING SEEMS HIGH, BUT WILL USE THEM.
