All Seasons inspected the fireplace and turns out we didn't need it to be cleaned. The gas starter was positioned in the wrong location, so he modified the configuration of the pipe to work more effectively. Then he trained me how to use it properly. He did the extra work within the original estimate all in one visit. Will definitely use this company again.

David was extremely polite and professional. He was friendly and helpful on the phone at our inital contact and called me back promptly after typical working hours. He quoted me the lowest price of several bids I received for this minor repair and went out of his way to explain the repair work he did to the chimney pipe in my roof. He accommodated my need for work to be done in a specific time frame, which I really appreciated. Great customer service and a very personable guy. I would definitely recommend him to others.

We initially contacted David from All Seasons Chimney Service in November 2011 for a general check and cleaning of our chimney and fireplace. When he came out for our first visit, he performed the chimney and fireplace maintenance and noted we have several loose bricks in our firebox. He advised us at that we may want to consider having the firebox repaired and that he could perform these repairs, but would need to come back because that was typically an all day job. This was completely fine with me and my husband and we planned to schedule the repairs after the new year. Around mid- January we received a call from David. He was very accomdating as far as appointment day and time and actually came out on a Saturday. He worked all day without taking a break and was meticulous in keeping not only his work area, but the surrounding area in our living room clean despite the work he was doing. He took down the entire firebox, cleaned / replaced the bricks, and rebuilt the firebox. He did an excellent job, his price was reasonable and we would highly recommend him to anyone needing chimney or fireplace work!

After reading previous reports I contacted them for an estimate. His estimate was signficantly cheaper than the others so I hired him. He showed up on time the dya of the appointment. He was very friendly and proffessional. He explained everything to me and wrote it down in detail for future reference. They completed the work timely and reviewed what was done. This was a great experience and I would recommend Dave for any work you would need done both from a personal and financial perspective,

I selected All Seasons Chimney Service to clean our chimney based on favorable reports on Angie's List. Our experience was excellent. David Jacobs showed up promptly as scheduled, and cleaned our chimney without any mess or dust getting into the house. He gave an honest appraisal of our chimney along with how often it needed to be clean based on our usage, and did not look to add on additional services as other chimney cleaning firms often do. We are happy with the work, and won't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

Overall experience was great. Dave was incredibly friendly, and actually advised against annual sweeps in our case -- and we were in complete appreciation of his honesty (as we likely would have hired him annually simply because we thought it was needed). We're about due for another sweep, and I won't hesitate to contact him again!

David was great. He inspected both of our chimney's and determined that neither needed swept. He completed the inspection with the masonry on the roof- which showed some cracks and he was able to give us a referral to a masonry for repairs.

Dave did a great job. He provided an estimate before arrival and that estimate did not change. He was professional and punctual. He cleaned the chimney in about 90 mins. He explained how to operate our chimney. He asked how often we use our chimney (about 2x a month during winter) and suggested only getting it cleaned every 5 years or so (in other words, he was not trying to get us to clean our chimney every year unnecessarily). He noticed a possible issue with our crown that he said we should watch, but did not say needed to be repaired immediately. He only said that he could do the work when I asked (in other words, he did not make it clear that he could do the work), so I did not feel he was suggesting an unnecessary repair. When I did ask, he offered to follow up with us in the Spring. Lastly, he accepted the 5% Angie's List discount even though we were unable to print it (our printer broke the night before). The only non-A grade we gave Dave was for price -- we gave him a B -- because other Angie's List chimney service providers were offering to clean for about $100. We chose Dave because our impression was that the other service providers would "find" other problems with our chimney that needed to be repaired. Based on the reviews of Dave, we felt that he would not do this (and we feel we were right). We highly recommend Dave for chimney services.

Dave was very patient, answering my numerous questions about types of wood, chimney flu, fireplace usage frequency, and how often to inspect/service the fireplace. He was definitely a "leave no trace" guy, who placed his ladder on the sidewalk to not indent the wet grounds, always wiped his shoes before entering the home, kind and courteos to my wife and kids (I notice the little things and appreciate them.)

He did a great job! Was on time, was very careful to keep the surrounding areas clean, and was very polite. The cleaning took less than an hour, and he was very thorough in his inspection and explaining everything to us. Based on our usage, even told us that we didn't need to have it cleaned as often as we'd thought, we signed up for his call list, so he can call us next time we're due for a cleaning so we don't have to remember. Will definitely use him in the future, and would recommend him to anyone.

This provider was prompt, courteous, professional, and efficient. They called before the appointment and actually were able to come a bit early. All the work was done correctly. The service guy asked how often we burned fires and then commented that we should clean the chimney once every five years. This seemed to indicate a level of honesty, because a shady operator might have recommended sweeping every year or two.

Overall the chimney cleaning went very well, and our chimney is now working perfectly. The job turned out to be easier than David had originally thought, so he charged us far less than what he had originally quoted us. I would recommend All Seasons Chimney Service to anyone in the area.

This is the 3rd home for which we have used Dave Jacobs. He's extremely knowledgeble and honest. Another contractor had said that we needed over $2500 in repairs and Dave was honest enough to say we just needed a new damper! He said that we may need some brick work done in a few years but it wasn't necessary at this time. He even went over and beyond the call of duty by spending time trying to find a replacement damper for our old chimney which was cheaper than installing the new kind of damper at the top of the chimney. That saved us another couple of hundred dollars. Dave is thorough, reliable, and trustworthy and I'll never use anyone else to keep our chimneys operating properly!

Good experience. This is second time I have used this company. Mr. Jacobs did a fine job. Was honest with me that the outdoor fireplace/chimney did not need any cleaning or maintainance. Cleaned the fireplace and swept chimney in livingroom.

Dave was able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me. He was running early and called to be sure that was ok before he came. He performed the work quickly and kept the work area neat and clean. I asked about length of time between cleanings based on our usage - he told me my cleaning interval was good and did not try to encourage more frequent cleans.

On time, very professional, got up on the roof, looked at the furnace chimney too just to see what advice he could give regarding maintenance. Swept the chimney and vacuumed the firebox, found two cracked heat tiles in the firebox and gave advice on how to order replacements. If replacements cannot be found, he offered to cut some for a fee later. He was busy enough that it took some time to get on his schedule, which meant that he does good enough work to be in demand consistently. We were impressed and we put ourselves on his call-back list for a cleaning next year.

Given the snow we have had, I was surprised that Dave planned to complete the job today. He came prepared with all the tools and equipment that he would need. He started by placing protective drop cloths. Two hours later the work was complete and he had packed up. The cost was reasonable and Dave is very personable and professional. Dave was at our house when we arrived home about 10 minutes before the appointment time. He swept the chimney taking care to put cloth down to prevent dirt from hitting the carpet. He explained the condition of our fireplace, gave us tips and pointers for what to burn or not burn in it, and made a note to call us when in the future he thought we would need his service again.

I found this company on Angie's List and was impressed by the recommendations so I called. Dave Jacobs was not in when I called but I left a message about our needs. The answering machine indicated that Dave would call back in the evening and he did return our call that evening. Dave stated the cost for cleaning and a cap would be about $250.00 which seemed reasonable and we scheduled the cleaning for two weeks. Dave called the night before the scheduled appointment to confirm that he would be here which further impressed us. He arrived about 30 minutes early (good traffic flow that day) which was fine with us and he asked if it was ok to start a little early. He covered the fireplace area completely with a tarp, cleaned the chimney, explained what the found and put on a chimney cap. He prvided a detailed work order report, provided the pamphlet for the chimney cap, further explained its warrantee and was finished in less that 90 minutes total. He is very personable, explains things thoroughly and clearly takes great pride in his work and company. I would highly recommend him for any chimney service and we will tell others in our neighborhood about his excellent services. Outstanding!

David responded to my call the same day and made an appointment that was convenient for me. He called the day before to confirm the appointment, and arrived earlier than the appointed time. He was very careful to avoid leaving any kind of mess and thoroughly cleaned the flue, and went out of his way to notice the damper was not working exactly right, diagnosed the problem and corrected it.
