David was awesome! He came on time on the date scheduled. He brought all the necessary tarps to protect my flooring and furniture. I will definitely be using him again and he promised he would call me this summer to do the work before it got cold again.

Service was scheduled quickly. Do expect to describe how often chimney is used in order to establish a suggested cleaning date in the future.

I left a message for Dave and he called back that night with availability the next day. He showed up on time, very nice and was able to fix the chimney flue, inspect the gas inset and provided an excellent explanation on how to open / close the flue (we just moved from FL so Chimney's are a new thing) and operate the chimney. He also explained what was required should we want to switch back to a wood fireplace. If we choose to do that, we will call him back for it

This went sooooo smooth! I used to be a general contractor and had dealt with a few different chimney contractors over the years. Unfortunately, everyone I ever dealt with either isn't in the business anymore or wasn't punctual/reliable. So, I used Angieslist and it worked great! I called to inquire and while nobody answered, I received a call back that same evening. We discussed my needs and scheduled the cleaning. We had to schedule three weeks out, but that isn't because they are slow at their job. It's because they're so popular!

Everything was perfect. He called the night before to confirm the appointment and showed up on time. The report was detailed.

I am pleased with the service performed by All Seasons. He was prompt and clean. He did a nice job and answered all my questions. I was a little disappointed that he did not go on the roof to inspect from the top of the chimney, but it was first thing in the morning and the roof still had frost on it. He said he would do it next year and put me on the schedule for earlier in the year.

Dave was very punctual and thorough. He examined the chimney cap and screen outside and told me I shouldn't need service for another five years as much as I used the fireplace. He is very honest and explains everything so you can understand. I would definitely use him again.

On his first trip he gave us an estimate with a range of a couple hundred $ or about 25%, since he wasn't sure how much of the side walls would come loose when he rebuilt the back wall. He ended up right in the middle of the estimate. He was very courteous and put me at ease that he knew exactly what he was doing. We previously had a contractor take a shot at it for $300 who just did a band-aid job which failed. So we wanted to make sure this was fixed for the remainder of our years in the house. Despite his full schedule in season, he gave us a repair date and kept it for the Monday before T-Giving so we could use the fireplace that long Holiday weekend. His workmanship was excellent. The price significantly lower than Mr. Chimney who gives a set price without looking at the job. This is one project down that I feel really good about the value and have confidence it will hold.

Dave was the best ... honest and straight forward, hard-working and right on time! I originally wanted his service to clean my chimney, and discuss new caps. After he inspected, he found a cleaning was not necessary. He could have very easily told me anything! The caps and installation went flawlessly. His pricing was very competitive. Dave was great. He said one chimney did not need service so I didn't pay for it. He pointed out where I could use some reconstruction and offered to do it during his slow winter service. Very low pressure and excellent advice provided by dave. He is very thorough. He provided a detail estimate for follow on work with no pressure to perform it. It was a good experience.

The work was very well done

David arrived promptly, answered all my questions about the functioning, condition and maintenance of my fireplace and chimney. After thoroughly inspecting he explained and provided estimates for what maintenance and repair would be needed in the short and long term. I recently bought my house and the previous owners had left the fireplace with ashes and cobwebs. David vacuumed it out nicely.

It went very well overall. He was on time, finished the job and gave us a great report on our chimney and equipment. Excellent company and we will use them again.

Dave explained everything he did, left us a detailed receipt of his services and offered to give us a courtesy reminder call for next year (which he explained is merely a reminder, not a commitment). We were thrilled overall and will definitely be using his services again!

David showed up and was very professional throughout the entire experience. He inspected both fireplaces in the house and swept the one fireplace that we would actually be using. True to his reputation and reviews on Angie's List, he set out drop cloths across a large area of the room around the fireplace and did not leave any trace of soot behind on our white carpet surrounding the hearth. After the service was over, we discussed how often he recommends servicing, and he recommended a reasonable service interval of every two winters to sweep and inspect - more often if we plan to use it four-five times a week, which we do not. I am very happy with the service and would definitely hire him again.

Dave arrived very close to his sheduled time. He is very courteous, and detail oriented. He inspected the firebox, removed the damper, and then inspected the smoke chamber. He informed me that it did require a good cleaning, which was I had anticipated. he spread a double layer of clean tarps on the floor, and proceeded to bring in the tools he would need. Next he proceeded to the roof to inspect the chimney from the top.He removed the chimney cap, informed me that it is quite rusty, and I may want to consider replacing it. He would do so if I wished, but there was no pressure to let him replace it.He mounted the chimney with his brushes, and while standing atop the chimney ran the brushed down the flue to give it a good cleaning. When finished, he replaced the cap, and went back inside. He brushed out the firebox,, and the smoke chamber, removing a large amount of soot from the smoke chamber. He commented on the unusual design of the smoke chamber, but said that overall, everything was in very good condition. When he had removed his tools and tarps, there was absolutely no soot anywhere. I was so impressed that I have scheduled to have him inspect and clean my daughters chimney for her. I will recommed Dave to anyone needing their chimney inspected, and or cleaned.

Mr. Jacobs was extremely professional and honest. He fully explained to me how to operate and take care of my fireplace. His price for his services seemed fair. I would absolutely hire him again and would recommend his service to others.

Returned call promptly and showed up on time. Did not push further services instead gave suggestions on how do simple repairs ourselves.

David was running ahead of schedule so he called and asked if he could come early. We were fine with that and he showed up a few minutes later. He was very personable, professional, and was free in dispensing his wealth of knowledge. He told us that one flue hadn't been used since its last cleaning and that the other one, although it had been used, was not nearly dirty enough to require sweeping. He then patiently entertained our many, many questions about fireplace use. He actually saved us a lot of money by dissuading us from expensive products which we didn't need, and offering other options that would both increase the efficiency of our fires, without increased work or decreased beauty.

Arrived a few minutes early and spread dropcloths in the area in front of our fireplace. Inspected the interior of the chimney and determined that it should be cleaned (we've been in the house ten years with no previous chimney work). Inspected the exterior portion of the chimney as he was bringing in tools and equipment. Noted a crack in the crown that should be repaired. Completed the cleaning operation in just under an hour and gave me a detailed report of his findings. Based on our usage, he recommended we have it inspected again in five years.

Dave showed up at the exact time that the appointment was set for. The appointment was to have fireplace cleaned. After inspecting the inside of the fireplace he advised that it did not need to be cleaned. He then proceeded to go outside to do a visual inspection of the chimney. He discovered that the chimney cap needed to be replaced which he did. Also, advised that repairs that had been made prior to my purchase of the house in May 2012 were very poorly done and that probably in the next few years would need to be redone. He showed my husband and I how to properly open and close the fireplace flue. He was very professional and courteous and I would HIGHLY recommend Dave in the future.

Mr Jacobs showed up on time-actually a little early. He is very nice-laid back I'd say. I have a small friendly beagle and Mr Jacobs was very pet friendly.The inspection was quick and very informative, I gave Mr Jacobs some time and space to get the cleaning done, and it took about an hour I guess. I am very happy. Mr Jacobs is outstanding. I will have him do cleanings every couple years as needed. I recommend him highly.

Our old chimney cap had been blown off in a storm and damaged. We had birds in the chimney in the past and the chimney had not been cleaned in a few years. I contacted Dave because of the other reviews I read here on Angie's List. When I called Dave, I told him the chimney had to be cleaned and we needed a cap to keep the birds out. Dave told me what it would cost and we arranged an appointment. Dave was on-time, was very neat and clean. He not only cleaned the chimney throughly, but he also did an inspection and installed the cap. Dave did take some pictures of the top of the chimney showing that the cement cap had cracked and that weather had caused a layer of bricks to separate from the rest of the chimney. While he said he could fix it, I told Dave I wanted the repair work performed with scaffolding to keep workers off the roof to avoid roof damage. Dave recommended another contractor who has scaffolding who he has worked with for a number of years. I was very happy with Dave's service and professionalism and would call him back in the future.
