Description of Work: He cleaned and inspected the firebox, chimney, and fireplace. Recommended some minor masonry repair work to the chimney but said we were safe to have fires. He said he will be retiring but his apprentice will be taking over for his company. We are so glad we found a good, reliable, and professional chimney sweep. I've dealt with some doozies before.

Description of Work: All Seasons did several things for me. It started out with a basic fireplace cleaning. It was discovered that my two fireplace caps had been damaged and could not be repaired. Both caps were replaced and I enjoyed cheerful fires all winter. It was akso discovered that the original brick chimney (not in use for fires) needed to be tuck pointed. That repair work was not performed by All Seasons. I received prompt service for all work performed and at a price I found acceptable.

Description of Work: Called for a cleaning/inspection due to moving into a 70-year-old house. Did not need cleaning, so charged only for inspection. Also inspected water heater, (gas) chimney. No screens or caps on either chimney, so he ordered material. I called back to schedule installation.

 + -1 moreI had used All Seasons before for a chimney cleaning and was pleased. Dave provided an estimate for the repair work at no charge. He scheduled the repair and called to confirm appointment. Work quality was good and work was done efficiently within the estimated time frame. I had some water in the fireplace after a hard rain the following week and asked Dave if he would check it out. Dave returned to inspect the chimney and applied some additional materials around the cap at no charge and asked me to let him know if anything else went wrong. All has been fine and I am very pleased with his commitment to providing quality work.
Description of Work: Chimney cap replaced and 6 courses of brick replaced and water-proofed.

 + -1 moreOn his first visit, David first gave me a free estimate for the firebox and also looked at some remortaring and repair of the chimney. He declined to do the chimney work because he thought the work specified wasn't as extensive as what the conditions warranted. The only minor fault I can find in the entire transaction was his not calling me back when he said he would in order to schedule the work. I had to call him to schedule it. He was punctual, professional, and thorough. He did the work without fanfare or a lot of unnecessary chatter. He cleaned up after himself and left. I was thoroughly satisfied with his work and plan to hire David for chimney inspection and cleaning in my new house.
Description of Work: A real estate contract addendum required me to have the firebox bricks in my wood-burning fireplace remortared. The bricks had come loose in the back and on one side of the firebox. The contract also required some repairs to the chimney.
