Dave was great. Friendly, professional and very helpful with advice on converting our gas log fireplace back to wood. I've worked with lots of contractors over the years and Dave stands out as one of the best. We'll have him come back in the Spring to install a chimney cap.

Left messages on voicemail. Attempted to contact company twice the following day but still received voicemail so called another company on Angie's List and scheduled to needed work in the same call.

They were on time. They did what they said they were going to do. They were very professional, easy to work with and responsive. They called to remind me the day before. I would definitely recommend them.

The work was done in a timely efficient manner. Workman showed up as he said and called ahead to let me know he was coming. He was very careful about making sure none of the mess was left behind by putting covering over floor. He also asked if he could call when I am ready for next cleaning. I will definitely use him again in the future.

He confirmed the appointment the day before. He showed up on time and did a great job inspecting and cleaning the chimney. He had tarps laid out to protect the floor and everything was clean when he left.

David arrived on time and inspected both fireplaces but only one needed to be cleaned. He also inspected the front and back chimney and determined that they both needed caps and he installed them. He did give me a discount since he was there to clean them. The caps also came with a transferable lifetime guarantee which is great. He gave me advise about the fireplace in the living room that has a gas line that is turned off but not tapped off, so he suggested that I contact a plumber who works with gas lines to have it tapped off. He cleaned the fireplace insert and it was pretty dirty, but there were no signs of anything on the carpet when he left. He also inspected the front and back chimney and determined that they both needed some masonry work and spelled out on the job detail sheet the work that was needed... Again very helpful. He was on time and worked fast. I would recommend him to others! Another plus... He is planning on calling me in June to schedule next years cleaning and inspection. This is great for a service provider to do for people who are busy and forget about fireplaces in the summer.

David Jacobs did the work for me. The price was very reasonable. He charged $130 to clean the fireplace and chimney. He charged $105 for the chimney cap. He also had a promotion for 10% off through Angie's List. I had another quote for almost twice the amount that All Seasons charged. He did a good job. He was very professional. He explained everything well and showed me the amount of debris that was in my chimney. He cleaned up very well and put protective plastic sheeting on my carpet. He was very polite. I would definitely use him again in the future and would recommend him to others.

Mr. Jacobs arrived for scheduled estimate for chimney repair. After looking at our chimney, he said that no work was needed! He was very helpful and wrote out information for my husband to clean the outside of the chimney (my husband is big do it yourself kind of guy). Thanks you for being so honest!

Chimney and fireplace were cleaned and inspected thoroughly. He called ahead to confirm appointment and to be sure we had power (date scheduled was during major power outage in area) and arrived on time. Very friendly and left no mess. Price quote was exact. Because of recent windstorm I had some tree limbs on roof, which he removed while he was up on roof inspecting the chimney.

Chimney sweep used two drop cloths to successfully keep soot contained and off of carpet, which I appreciated. Very happy with the work performed and will continue to use chimney sweep service as needed.

David returned my initial call promptly. David arrived on time on the agreed upon date. He inspected the chimney, cleaned the chimney and explained what items needed to be addressed and whether they were urgent or not. He cleaned up after himself and left the room as clean as when he arrived. He answered all my questions very politely and knowledgeably.

I used All Seasons Chimney Service in the fall of 2007 to do some repairs so that I could use the gas fireplace in my home. David Jacobs did the work. He reseated the original damper to make it operational. He also installed a chimney cap, which involved some masonry repair. David told me that if I did not like using the existing damper, and wanted to change to a damper/cap combination within a few months, that he would give me full credit for the cap he had installed. I ended up taking him up on that offer, because I found the original damper difficult to use. David was excellent at returning messages, and calling the night before an appointment to confirm. He kept appointments on time, the work was done efficiently, and he left the work zone very clean. He also gave me helpful information and advice on purchasing new gas logs. It was a pleasure to work with him.

We were very pleased with David Jacobs of All Seasons and were impressed by his honesty and knowledge. He came recommended by our furnace technician from Jansen. David advised us that due to our infrequent use of the fireplace that we could wait about 18 months before needing a cleaning. While he was repairing the crown and installing the cap, David discovered a squirrel had built a nest at the top of the chimney since he had been out to do the inspection. David cleaned out the nest the best he could, and then had to push the rest of it to the bottom of the chimney (overflow in basement). He was very concerned about leaving the nest remnants at the bottom of the chimney and called us that evening to see if he could get access to the inside of the house the next day to clean it out. He was very accommodating to our schedule and came out first thing the next morning to clean out the nest. We will definitely use All Seasons again.

Originally contacted as referral from Angie's List. He called within 24 hours, quoted general pricing over the phone. David showed up on time and called to confirm the appointment the night before. Work was done professionally (no dirt left anywhere), timely, and encouraged my inspection prior to billing. David scheduled me as part of a regular 3 year schedule. More importantly, David has been working on fireplaces for over 25 years and understands 'real fireplaces', not just inserts (I am sure he knows those as well). Our house was built in 1924 and it is next to impossible to find anyone that knows fireplace mechanics. I am so happy to have found him.

Dave inspected the chimney and determined that it did not need a cleaning. He also noted that we would need to replace the chimney cap - but said it could wait until spring.

He arrived 10 minutes early (a good thing). He set right to work, asking if it was okay to move the coffee table. I forgot we had had a fire in the fireplace recently and apologized, but he said, "No problem". He was here for 1 hour. The chimney and fireplace are incredibly clean. He even cleaned the surrounding brick area. He left everything in great condition and made no messes. He told me our existing chimney cap was in great condition and when I asked if there was anything that I needed to be concerned about, he told me the damper was rusted in the open position and suggested a solution, but that since I have glass doors on the fireplace, it was not a big deal.

The gentlemen that came out was very personable and explained to me what needed to be done. He also inspected the whole roof and chimney. Was some cracks on the bricks and told me that I didn't need to do the repairs, because I wasn't going to use the chimney for fires. I liked the fact he was an honest person. Very clean with the service laid down tarps so that dust and derby wont get on the carpet.

David was very accommodating on schedule and promptly returned phone calls regarding the appointment. David arrived on time and was very careful to protect our carpet and furnishings during the cleaning. He did a thorough job. He sealed and waterproofed the crown which he noticed was cracked during his inspection of the chimney. This additional work was necessary and only added a small amount to the overall cost. We have a dog and David was very careful not to let the dog escape while going in and out the door to do his work. He also noticed and advised us of a problem with our roof which is greatly appreciated.

Dave's response times to my calls were very timely. He was courteous about letting me know when he would arrive and called when running late. His estimate was half that of another leading chimney company and I am thrilled with the work; it looks beautiful and I witnessed the care he took with the job. He laid down cloths to protect my carpets and covered the fireplace to prevent dirt from falling down into the room. Dave reminded me of an old world artisan, seeing his work as a craft, not just a repair job.

Mr. Jacobs was very responsive to my questions and provided me with accurate and helpful information on how to use and upkeep my wood burning stove. He was professional and kept the area clean while he worked. Outstanding job!

It was a good experience overall. We played phone tag for a couple days, but eventually, the cleaning got scheduled. Service was great, and he gave helpful recommendations on use of the fireplace. He was thorough and had good cleanup.
