They were very professional, they were always on time and very prompt. They were very helpful, they did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the garage door.

So far, the service is good. I like the guarantee they have. As soon as the door was put in, due to the hot weather, glue was coming out around the glass frame. I called the company and they sent a manufacturer representative to check out the door. He then called the manufacturer to reorder a door and then came to replace the door with no problems.

They were on time and very helpful. They explained everything and told me what needed to be done. The price wasn't the lowest, but they did a great job.

I sent an email on Sunday requesting an estimate. They responded later that same day with an estimate of $200 to replace both springs and said they had time available to do the work the next day. I called them back on Monday around noon. They had a person at my house 30 minutes later. The person called me at work when he got to the house (kids at home to let him in). He told me that the new springs needed had to be ordered since the door was much heavier than normal and they didn't have the springs in stock for my custom built door. They gave me a new estimate for $250 since the springs were more expensive. They ordered the springs and came back on Thursday to complete the work. Once he got into the work he found that the rod that held the springs was dented from the old springs to the point that it couldn't be reused. He had a new rod on the truck and installed it along with the new springs. The work took much longer than normal because of the rod replacement required. He spent about 90 minutes doing what he said normally would be a 20 minute job. When finished, he only charged me $270 total; $250 for the springs plus $20 for the rod. He waived the cost of the extra visit involved and didn't charge me for any of the extra labor time. The person was on time, pleasant, professional and the work quality was excellent. I would definitely use this company again.

Though I thought the cost was high, it was about average with others I looked at, and the quality of their product was good. I went to their showroom and was impressed on how informative the salesperson was without being pushy. After scoping out the competitors products too, my husband and I went back and ordered a new door, side panels and a storm door to match. Installation went like clockwork and the door looks wonderful. The installer was friendly, competent, and did a marvelous job cleaning up after everything was done. The only snag was on a mix up for the installation date, but in my case it didn't matter and we swapped it to the next day.

All of the work was done by ONE service person in less than 8 hours. The doors were custom-made because of the odd size of our garage. They had to account for overhead radiators that are on the ceiling of the garage. The old doors, springs, mechanism, etc. were all hauled away. He had to building down the front facing of the opening. The garage was spotless when he was done. He showed us how to operate the keyless entry system.

Very well - excellent service, explanation and tips. Door runs great now - better than ever actually.

The person on the phone was very courteous and told me he could not give a good estimate for repair without having a serviceman look at the opener. He scheduled a serviceman to come to my house the next morning. The serviceman was very punctual, diagnosed the problem, and gave us a cost to repair the opener and the cost or to replace the opener. We chose to replace because unit was old and there was no guarantee how long the old opener would continue to function even with the repair.

They did a great job! I received an estimate which was very detailed and complete. That person arrived on time, explained everything, and gave me a folder of information. The installer arrived on time as scheduled. He did a great job including a thorough clean up. He had to do a lot of extra work to build a new frame and drop the opener down to clear a cement beam on the garage ceiling. One of the openers did not work, so he promptly had one delivered within a few minutes. He explained and demonstrated how all the features with the opener and keypad worked. He even stopped by the next day to make sure everything was working OK. Both he and the estimator were very polite, professional and friendly. My garage is much warmer than it was before with the old door, and the opener is so much quieter. I was very pleased with everything, and I would highly recommend this company!

It went very well. Jim Dietz was the salesman we worked with. He wasn't able to get to us right away, so when he came out he said he would honor a sale price that they had on their product at the time we initially called. We had priced doors and openers at home improvement stores, and their sale price came in below them. We scheduled a day for the work to be done. The crew came in the time frame promised and got the job done in about 4 hours.

Estimator arrived on time a few days after my initial call. He provided me with a proposal for installation of a door that met my needs. One week later the installer arrived promptly on time. He did a very nice job of installing the new door and cleaned up his work site. He was polite, informative and efficient. The job of removing the existing doors, remodeling the opening to fit the new doors and installing the door took about 5 hours.

We first visited their showroom, which was nice because we were able to see all of the styles of doors and glass in person. They described all of the work that is involved in detail, and did not pressure us into purchasing extras. The install date was about 3 weeks after we ordered. They explained to us that it was because the doors are all custom manufactured for each job. On the install date, Rick arrived first thing in the morning and started right away. The entire job was finished in about 7 hours, and they disposed of the old doors and hardware for me. No mess was left behind, and the new doors are beautiful and air-tight. Rick was very courteous, and cleaned up any mess that he made.

They are excellent, I will continue to use them.

We were extremely pleased with the sales reps who came to the house. They were friendly, knowledgeable of their product lines and interested in satisfying our needs. They kept to their schedule and did an excellent job. The new Clopay doors work and look terrific.

The sales person, Linda, was very helpful and honest with me. She did not pressure me to buy anything I did not need or want. The installation person, Donny, was very diligent and worked most of the day to install the doors. He was very helpful, showing me everything about how the doors and openers work and helping me to set the code. He was neat about his work and removed the old equipment.

We had a few problems, but they were able to fix them promptly.

They were clean, prompt, friendly and got the job done. We would recommend them.

They came and did work while I was at work. Looks great and both doors work fine. They left the job site very tidy. Did not have electric at the time so they could not do some adjustments necessary with the opener. Not their fault and I was able to handle it with the owners manual. Would have liked for them to better flash around the entry door instead of just caulking, but it looks pretty watertight and should be fine once I get the siding on.

I would recommend them. The price was in the ball park.

Sales Representative Tim Graham initially visited to write the estimate. He was very accommodating on scheduling the appointment for the estimate to fit both of our schedules. Tim was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. We discussed several options, including whether torsion springs or extension springs would work best for my installation. At the time of the estimate, AE Door was promoting a sale on certain Clopay garage door models. The garage door that I had selected was on sale at the time and the price quoted was competitive and very reasonable. I had shopped at specialty garage door company. The garage door installer Luke S. was very courteous and professional. He arrived on the day as scheduled on time. Luke made an extra effort to install the new garage door and tracks higher in the opening as I requested to provide clearance for my "tall" 4WD vehicle into the garage. Clean-up after the installation was well done.

We wanted well-insulated garage doors with windows in gray color to match our house. We wanted quiet openers. Our installation is complicated by a low-headroom, basement garage. AE was able to provide everything we wanted. Their price was slightly higher than some other contractors, but they did throw in a few bells and whistles (laser park assist, etc.) which are nice. The garage doors look great, the openers are quiet, and we are very happy. One of the laser park assists needed to be moved after installation, and I did have to do some arguing to get them to do this without charge. However, they apologized for the misunderstanding and moved the device without charge.

Excellent! The repairman arrived on schedule and did the work in less than an hour. He replaced both the springs and removed all the old parts. He also lubed and adjusted the garage door.

Did what they said they would do at fair price. Had to move door opener mechanism.
