Excellent. My garage door opener broke one day, so I called them for an estimate. They had a service tech to remove and install the new opener the very next day.

The estimator was on time, polite and helpful. The doors had to be ordered so I had to wait a few weeks. The price was fine; the doors I bought were on sale. The installation charge for my still-in-the-box garage door opener was cheaper than installation from the store where I bought it. AE had no problem with installing an opener that they didn't sell me. Installer was punctual, polite, and intent on providing excellent service. He not only installed my new opener, but he remounted my existing one to provide more stability and to match up with the new one. He helped us program the keypad and all remotes. One of the best in-home service experiences we've had.

They were very thorough, professional- got much more than I was expecting. They are the only ones I'll call in the furture.

They were fine and they came out really quick. The door was a weird size and had to be specially ordered. They installed it in two hours and disposed of the old one.

The overall experience with them was excellent. They came on time, did everything right, and cleaned up behind them. The quality of the products is excellent. I give them high ratings on all counts and will continue to use their services in the future.

Overall, it was a great experience. AE sent a sales person out on Wednesday to provide an estimate (~2PM) and they were at the house at 8 AM the next morning for the door replacement and installation. They both arrived on time in the time windows provided, and the final cost was the exact quote we were provided the previous day.

Was not cheap, but he was efficient, knew what to do.

I wasn't home when the work was done, but it looks great. I know that they showed up the day that they said they would and got the work done in one day. I think that they did a very good job.

They were recommended to me by a Doors & Windows Associate at the Home Depot in Forest Park, who said that A&E installed garage doors and openers for them and that they were very good at what they do. I called the company and made an appointment for Thursday between the hours of 8-10 AM. The company called the day before to confirm the appointment and left contact numbers for during and after business hours. The technician, Steve, arrived at 8:15 AM. He was cordial and professional. He inspected the garage door, the spring tension and the cables. He replaced both of the cables. He also greased the screw-drive on the door opener (which dramatically reduced the noise from the drive). The job took approximately 30 minutes.

Very well! From the initial telephone call to inquire to the finished product, we are more than happy with the process. All involved, salesperson to installer to receptionist on the telephone were very professional, friendly and helpful. The installer arrived on time and was finished in 6 hours. He explained in detail to us how to use the doors, openers etc and did a wonderful job of cleanup.

They had the door and the color that I liked with a good price. Along with the new garage door they put new tracks and a new automatic opener. They came immediately after I called them and did the work. They cleaned the place after they finished the work.

We were in the market for a new garage door due to a very cold garage. Called AE Door. Tim, our salesperson, came to our house when he said he would, and did a very good and complete job of explaining what AE could offer and laid out an estimate right then. The door could be shipped in 2 weeks, which was a benefit to us since we are right in the middle of the coldest part of the year and another company said it would take 6 weeks to get a new door. I called Tim a couple days later to put in the order, and again he was very efficient and informative, and set a date for delivery right then. Mark, the installer, called 1/2 hour before he was coming. It was approximately 10-15 degrees that day. He showed up right when he said he would. He worked very hard (and on his own!). There was no mess, and he took all the old equipment. He spent about 4-5 hours or so on our install, as it was a bit irregular. After he was completely done, he spent 15 minutes going over how it worked and gave tips. He was professional in his work and how he handled the install. There was one part of our install that wasn't on the work order - we needed a bigger rubber bottom seal to truly seal the air out. He made a note of that, and as he promised, the next morning AE called and set it up for Mark to come out first thing the next morning. That was completed - it was - 3 degrees that day. He called me at work after he was done to let me know the seal on the door was installed. Overall, I was impressed with AE. They weren't the least expensive, but they were competitive, and were responsive and professional in what they do. - Dan K.

My service technician spent around 30 minutes in all diagnosing the problem. He was able to solve the problem for the short term without having to invest in new equipment and hardware, which was greatly appreciated. He suggested that the door opener was getting old and weak and didn't have enough down force but didn't push needing to purchase a new opener. Additionally, he also suggested new springs that mount above the door versus the spring system I have now which follow the tracks whenever my current springs break or cease to function. Again, there was no sales pressure whatsoever to replace anything at the current time. He lubricated the door rollers, track, & door opener and made some adjustments to the track. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the technician's professionalism and looking to fix the problem and not sell new equipment. The price for the fix is a result of it being a next day weekend call.

It was very good and we were really pleased with them. He was very professional and he did the work quickly, but did a good job. He went through the operation and details of the door with us afterwards.

Sales rep arrived on time and was well informed on available products. Scheduled the work. AE called the day before to let me know when the installer would arrive. Installer was on time. He removed the old door, took it away and installed the new door. Work took about 90 minutes. Fit and finish of the new door is great. This is the second time I have used AE door and once gain I am very satisfied with the work.

We chose this company because were able to do the work the next day. They had a good selection of doors.

I visited the showroom, and they helped me pick out a new garage door to match the house. They gave me a price and stuck to it, even when it turned out after measuring that our garage opening was not a standard size and had to be custom made. Everyone was very nice and easy to work with, and they also customized our door by putting the windows in a different row than normal. The door looks good, but not quite as sturdy as I had expected. But I was used to a heavy wood door. We had previously called them for an emergency when our garage door opener and track fell down, and they came out and put in a new one in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable amount, even though we weren't prior customers, so that helped us decide to get our garage door there.

Quick turn around time, but a little disappointed that the technician determined it couldn't be fixed when later the technician installing the new door said it could have been.

They offered very quick service. They sold a very affordable custom door to us. We were very pleased with the installation. Everything went very well.

Called for info and they came to measure same day. Very courteous, professional attitude. Ordered different color and size and it came as promised in 2 weeks. Scheduled installation was day after Hurricane Ike storm but they came the next day. Installed while I was at work, but they cleaned up everything completely. Door looks good and works well. Very pleased with service and product.

They were prompt in their initial inquiry and they were the best priced. The decision to use them was based on the rating on Angie's List. They also could get the job done quicker than the others.
