The A&E salesman was prompt. He wasn't particularly pushy. We picked out a door and he told us when it would be available to be installed and he was right. I called him the next day to change the order and add windows to the door. He was extremely cooperative through several calls to get the order correct. He was a little unfamiliar with a new decorative option of the windows. This is no reflection on A E Door. The installer arrived on time, did a great job of taking down the old door and installing the new door. He went out of his way to get the best seal at the bottom of the door where our driveway is a little uneven. The door looks great. However, the hand grips to manually raise the door were not installed. We need to call A E Door and ask about this omission. We did not notice there were missing when the installer was here. He did not ask if we wanted them. Without them what would we do if the power goes out?

They tightened my door. They are good.

He was prompt, polite, and got me the bid fairly quickly. It was just far too high. The garage door was a comperable price to the company we went with, but the R factor on it was way lower, making it less of an insulator for the garage. We went with other companies for the work.

I got their name from Angie's List. The initial person wasn't very good but they worked it out. People make mistakes but it worked out fine. It was during tax time and the salesman was so upset that he had to pay taxes that he forgot to tell the installation guy that I wanted to get the door. I was waiting for them to call me. They got the door installed and had to come back a couple of times because the door wouldn't close but it was fine in the end. I got stuck two times due to that. I was late for a doctors' appointment because they had to come back and then I was late for another thing the second time. I think that their price was fair. They came when they said they were coming. The people that I talked to in person were good but I did not like the people over the phone. They would definitely be on my list if I needed such work done again but I would search around first.

There was sort of nothing negative or nothing good about them. I had a quote from them a year ago. I was just updating the quote for the same item. I never had done it. I would not use their services again in the future because I went with someone else that was more of a local smaller company.

for both the garage door and the storm doors, the sales people were timely in making the estimates. The service people were equick and efficient in their work. All company personnel took time to explain the process and went overboard in minimizing any inconveniences to my household routine.

I couldn't get it to open. They explained why it happened and how I could get it fixed. They were great. They did a nice job at a fair price.

Perfect. Very detailed had the right answers to my questions, did a few "little extras" that also improved the performance of my garage door.

I got a deal from Angie's List. They were right on time. They did what they said they would. They also checked with us to make sure that it was okay. I would recommend them to others.

I called on a Saturday and the salesman told me it would be installed on Tuesday, but Monday if possible. He told me the model and the price including installation and told me a lady scheduler (Sherrie?) would call Monday morning between 7:30 and 8 to confirm installation time. SHe called at given time and scheduled visit for Tuesday morning and said that the installer would call before coming out. On Tuesday, the installers (2 men) called 30 minutes before they arrived. They installed everything within 1 hour, cleaned up, presented the bill (no surprise) and we paid and then they left. That evening the dorr wouldn't open. I called and was asked to look at the springs. One spring was broken (the two springs were very rusty and 17 years old). They sent out a technician and I asked that both springs be replaced. They were replaced.

AE Door & Window Co put in a new front door last winter.

I called them initially because I got a coupon to use them for garage door maintenance. My door then stopped working and they came out and fixed the problem. They were fine.

I used them on an Angie's List special.I had never had this service done before. The door is so quiet now and I love the way it works. I recommend them to other people.

I have used them before whenever I have needed any service for my garage door or garage door opener. They are very responsive and do the work correctly. I don?t have any reason to go anyplace else. I have recommended them to others. I don?t know what other companies charge, so I don?t know how their price would compare with others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

I chose them because I got a coupon. Everything turned out fine. I liked them. They were prompt and clean. They were able to do extra. They did what they came to do. Everything is in good shape as well. It was easy to deal with them.

A&E performed a garage door tune-up. They tightened all the bolts and lubricated the rollers and springs. He also aadjusted the door controls to close and open smoother. He advised us that our 15 year old 1/3 hp openers were past end of life, but suggested if they are working well to continue to use them. On time and very professional.

Their service was great. The doors were good and they operate great. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They were on time. It worked all well. They were a little more expensive than the other companies. I would use their services again in the future.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal and forgot about it. It was about to expire, and AE came out the day after I called! Billy, the door service guy, was friendly, helpful, and professional. I will use AE again the next time I need my garage door serviced.
