Our garage door opener stopped working unexpectedly. We called AE Door to come and replace the garage door opener (ours was about 25 years old). We told them that it was urgent that we needed this fixed, given it was very difficult to open and close the door manually. AE booked an appointment for the next day, arrived at 10 (in a 10-12 window to fix), and performed a very quick installation. They were very organized, professional, and flexible to our timelines. Would definitely recommend using AE Door.

The garage door had been making louder and louder noises as it operated. We had lived here 3 1/2 years and we figured that it was time to do a tune-up on the door and the motor, etc. Called A-E Door and scheduled an appointment. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get here to do the job. The technician was cordial and very informative about how to take care of the garage door components myself, should I choose to do so. The job was completed in just a little over 30 minutes and he was careful to leave several stickers on or around the garage opening mechanism so that, if I needed additional service, I would have the access information readily available.

While the service tech did show up a little later than expected, his work made up for it. He not only fixed the issue but did it for half the price that we expected. He also serviced the garage door to ensure it was working properly.

Very happy with my new doors. The salesman had an extensive catalog and quickly narrowed to the choices I wanted. I watched the doors being installed. He knew what to do and did an excellent job. The doors are working fine. MUCH better looking and function better than my original doors.

Perfect! May 1999: I called another door opener company who said that installing an opened could not be done. A&E said no problem, they'd just curve the back of the rails down a bit. Quick clean install that has worked well for over 13 years. Mar 200: After 7 years, the opener became unresponsible. The technician tested the both remote openers, the exterior keypad and then the circuit board, discovering it was bad. He had a board in his truck so it was replaced, the remotes reset and it's been perfect ever since.Nov 2011: I noticed daylight coming through the garage door frame, called A&E to check it out. They came with a color selection pallette to match the door, ordered the correct color of weatherstripping and fixed the problem.Great experience! Company easy to work with.

Very well. This was the first problem we had with our garage door opener since we purchased it in 1999! Basically, it made a lot of mnoise but wouldn't lift the door. Adjustments needed to be made to the belt and appropriate parts were oiled. In addition, we decided to replace the wireless unit on the outside of the garage which hadn't worked for years. Everything is working great now and the garage door opens and closes much more quietly.

Went very well. I called late on a Thursday and they were at my home at 9AM on Friday. Lawrence was very professional. Explained the problem to me and got right to work. Fixed in 25 minutes.

The job went great from the estimate by Ron given on 5/23/2012 to the installation by the tecnician on 5/29/2012. Everyone was on time and performed the installation and cleaned up afterward. They did a great job!

AE came to our house to service our garage door opener, and found that the opener was burnt out. Considering it was a 20+ year old model I fully expected that as the answer. They gave us a great price on a new model garage door opener, updated it with the infra-red security system and installed an outside access code so we can lock the garage door if we go on vacation. They were great and explained everything to my wife.

They were excellent. They had one guy come in. He changed latches, screws and oiled it up.

I assumed I needed a new door, so if they were unethical, they could've sold me a new door. They merely repaired it for $105 and it works just fine (with a small ding in the bottom). I like ethical, honest people like AE. They responded quickly and efficiently.

The spring had broken and I wasn't able to lift the door at all. I had to make sure that everything was moved away from the door so that they would have room to work. They were very nice and the door works great.

I originally called to get the opener repaired. I contacted the contractor listed on the opener since they had done the original install. They wanted $90 to come look at it and that was good toward the work to be done. I then called AE Door. The customer service rep on the phone asked me several questions about what needed to be done including how old the unit was and asked me to go out and look at the springs on the door. She advised me that they don't recommend investing in repairing 25 year old garage door openers, but suggest that you invest in a new one. Great idea! Also, in looking at the spring, I discovered that it was broken. She gave me a quote on the price to replace the broken spring but suggested that a salesperson come give me information on a new door and opener. The salesperson was at my door in less than 2 hours, I requestd expedited service because I was advised not to use my door with the spring broken. The new insulated door with a new opener seemed like the best idea and they had a great deal going on. The new door and opener were installed within a few days and are beautiful. For the first time since we bought the house, the garage door actually seals! The installer, although working alone, did a professional, quick job. He explained that the old brackets (attaching the rails to the ceiling) were much thicker metal and therefore of higher quality than tthe new ones that are used today. He recommended that we leave those in place adn we appreciated his honesty. (They just don't make things like they used to!)

The technician thoroughly inspected and lubricated the garage doors themselves and their respective openers. Explained everything to me and pointed out potential problems to keep an eye on.

From call to completion it was a great experience considering the inconvenience of the spring busting. AE was the only company offering same day service of several I called. They provided the service at a fair price. The repairman was knowledgable, expeditious and courteous. He even corrected an issue with the lights in the opener and showed me how to fix it if the problem occurred again.
