There were some minor detail corrections needed after the report was submitted and he did corrected them immediately. Very friendly, very knowledgeable.

I am retired and want to sell a property. Ron Sears asked me to buy the property as he handed me the appraisal. He saw great value in the property that was low balled in his appraisal. He used comparables in less neighborhoods, less bathrooms, smaller homes, half the acreage. the subtracted -20k in value of all the comparables. He lowballed the property to purchase for profit.

The square feet calculations of the comparable properties were incorrect. Our own property did not have our addition added into his figures. He is over worked and this may have been the reason for this error. Nice man and very personable.

I don't think enough time was taken for appraisal. The evaluation he gave was too high.

Mr. Sears called me within a short time after my Home Advisor query. He asked very pertinent questions and listened to why we were requesting an independent appraisal. I was able to get an appointment within the week and he was able to be ver flexible. When he came to do the appraisal, he was attentive to specifics and explained factors that would or would not affect the appraisal results. The weather was terrible and he took care to not track in snow & debris. The results were sent via email within 3 days of the actually inspection. Overall, he was VERY PROFESSIONAL but also friendly and easy to talk to.
