Description of Work: My job was broken into about five phases. During the summer, 2015, we completed two of the phases. And, actually, phase 1 was broken into two separate phases. The owners worked with me to accommodate my budget and made it work for me. They were wonderful to work with. They came to my home and walked the area to be landscaped and listened to my wishes and made suggestions. They took out about 18 half dead trees-dug them up and took them away. They built up tree beds level with the rest of the lawn and created a stream overflow between two creatively designed rows of trees. The work crew was professional and responsive. I cannot say enough about them. They understood what needed to be done, and I did not have to supervise them. Mostly importantly, they were respectful of my property. Clearly, I cannot say enough about operation of Landscape Creation Nursery, and they will be back this spring to continue the work from last year!

Description of Work: Landscape Creations did two jobs for us this summer. We were so pleased with the first that we consulted them for the second later in the summer. Peter and Joanne came out to our property and advised us on the initial project - steering us away from a costly project toward one that they felt would suit our property and our needs better. The crew came and worked long and hard and accomplished an amazing amount in one day - installing a gravel yard, grubbing out weeds, trimming trees, edging a plant bed, installing topsoil, etc. The second job included repairing a brick walk, grubbing weeds out of our back yard, trimming trees, designing and laying out plants in the garden area, designing and installing a gravel path and sitting area, transplanting plants, and mulching the new planted area. The work was done artistically and quickly. The work crew was fabulous and didn't leave until they had finished all the work planned for the day. We are extremely pleased and can't believe how our property was transformed.

Description of Work: Landscape referred me to Ray Sudnick from RS Building Co., a carpenter that did an amazing job! He built 2 trellis on my property which I absolutely love. In fact I called 4 companies, none of which assured me that they could accomplish what I wanted to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: Removed lawn and installed extensive garden beds and pathways on two sides of the house. They did the design, worked with us to choose plants and then complete installation.

+ -1 moreThis was absolutely one of the best experiences I have ever had with a landscape company in my 35 years of home ownership. Joanne (and Pete) is not only very creative in her design work, she is superb in her execution and delivery. A very no nonsense individual who takes great pride in what she and her staff accomplish. Joanne has the ability to put herself in your shoes. She sees your property as if it were hers and she treats it that way. In addition, their nursery is replete with very fine plant specimens. She does not deliver plants that are seedlings where you might have to wait 10 years to have a very nice mature landscape. Thiscompany is well worth your time and effort to investigate.
Description of Work: Designed and planted two beds in the front of our home: one in excess of 30 feet the other around 15 feet. Added 5 trees to rear of property. All beds around the perimeter of the house were cleared of all weeds. 80% of all the existing plant material in all existing beds was relocated to other parts of our property where soil and light conditions were more appropriate for the plants. Added new plant materail to existing beds around the perimeter of the house that were more appropriate for their locations and for the archtectural aspects of the house. Mulched all the beds and added a unique gravel bed for the 12 pines trees that represent the exterior perimeter of the house. Trimmed all existing overgrown plants. Redesigned and replanted the walkway up to the entrance of the house to make it more inviting and visually appealing.

+ -1 moreWe had Landscape Creations come in in the Fall 2008 to clear out the area around a fence and remove a fence. They outlined some ideas for the landscaping in the fall and then we met with them again in the spring to finalize the plans. We went back and forth a few times with various ideas (I didn't have a very specific plan of what I wanted going into the project) but the process held solidify my ideas. They were very patient and helpful with suggestions of things that could be done with the space. I met with Joanne at their nursery to pick out bushes and plants. The work was done very promptly. Since the planting was done, we had one hemlock tree die and one crepe myrtal that never leafed-out. Landscape Creations was prompt in replacing them. I love the new garden space!
Description of Work: Re-landscape a section of the backyard, including installing a stone pathway and seating area, and building a low retaining wall along a portion of the driveway.

+ -1 moreThey were there when they said that they would be. They had lots of plants to choose from they took us to their nursery and everything they picked was top notch. they are easy to work with. What they do is unbelievable. they are not just landscaper they are artist. Everything they do is so special. Everything is so different. It is not cookie cutter work, it's original and different every time.

There was a little misunderstanding with the pattern of the stones, as I showed one person the design I wanted in a catalog, but although the stone selection was communicated to the workmen the stone pattern was not; they had done half the patio before I saw it and discovered the miscommunication. In the end I went with the pattern they used, but it was a little annoying. The landscaping work itself was excellent. Again, there was a miscommunication about one item: a tree that Landscape Creations bought from another wholesaler. t died within a week of being planted and I was told it had no guarantee whatsoever. thought it just wasn't guaranteed for a year; I didn't realize that they would not replace something that died immediately. This left me a little disappointed in the quality of their responsiveness. To me the best measure of a contractor is what they do when something goes wrong.
