LANDSCAPE CREATIONS NURSERY

In the past, Joanne and Peter had been very good. We had always complimented the work, paid immediately, and generously tipped their workers for their hard work. This year Joanne and Peter refused to provide a quote stating that they had problems with the last transaction. In that case, they provided a quote, did the work, and I paid immediately in full as per the quote. After the work was done they altered the quote and demanded I pay more than the original invoice specified. I simply pointed out the discrepancy and they started accusing me of not paying them as I should, after we had had a decade of work where we paid full prices with no quibbling. Despite the rude treatment on this past years work I request a Fall Clean Up job. They refused again blaming me for their inaccurate invoice last year, even though I paid their adjusted amount in full (actually more than full) despite the fact they screwed up. I have to say, they have become a very rude and unprofessional outfit and I cannot recommend anyone hire them.

I am beyond disappointed with LANDSCAPE CREATIONS NURSERY. For a company with such positive reviews their customer service, and follow though, is unacceptable. I contacted them on May 8th to have someone set up an appointment for a quote on getting my front and back yard landscaped (hard and soft). I never received a contact. So I reached out again via their website on May 16th, I did received an email back twice, once on May 21st saying they would have the owner contact me. When that didn't happen I email them again on May 30th and again they said the owner would be contacting me. I have never been contacted, very unfortunate.

I've been working with Joanne since redoing all of my landscape beds back in 2003 and have been a repeat customer since then. Recently I needed to replace some plants in one of the beds in front of the house and scheduled some time to meet with Joanne to pick out some new plant material. I showed her some photos and what I wanted in terms of height and color and she was able to offer up many suggestions on what would work as well as look aesthetically pleasing within the current landscape. We spent about an hour or so walking the vast property and selecting the plants for the bed (all the while in a downpour of rain) and never felt rushed or pressured to pick out anything that I didn't want or was more expensive. The level of customer service and knowledge is something you'll never find at the local chain box store garden center. I always recommend Landscape Creations to friends and even though it's about a half hour drive from Mentor, it's well worth the time. Thanks Joanne and Pete, keep up the great work!

Joanne and Peter are prompt, precise, and their crew is very professional. I like that all of the plants are grown in NE Ohio, so they winter well allowing the yard to evolve each year to become more and more beautiful. Joanne and Peter are experts at design. They make many valuable recommendations after their visit to the property and then invite the customer to their nursery not only to see the digital design, but also to view and choose the actual plants that they will be using in your landscape design. I am starting to think of ideas for next year now....because I know this is a company that I want returning to my property every year. Angie Hicks....you REALLY need to get out to Landscape Creations Nursery in Chesterland, OH, and do a feature on Joanne, Peter and their entire organization. I highly recommend Landscape Creations for all your landscape needs.

Paul and Joanne created a completely new plan which called for significant transplantation of existing plant material and import of additional like plant material to fill out the beds. Also new specimen plants and rock outcrops were placed throughout the yard. Water feature was completely replaced. We could not be more pleased with the result. The quality of the plant material brought in was wonderful. The great knowledge and care shown by all workers involved in transplanting/planting was impressive and was only exceeded by their diligence. Everyone was busy all the time - no standing around by anyone - they just seemed to know what to do and how to stay out of one another's way - a real team. All this was managed while not trashing those parts of the beds which were remaining "as is". The new water feature is a work of art. Beautiful to look at whether it's running or not and delightful to listen to when it is. Our yard has been made new again and IT ONLY TOOK TWO DAYS OF WORK ! The only reason I gave LCN a "B" on responsiveness is that it was difficult to get on their schedule. The reason for this is clear . . . they are much in demand because of the quality of their work so plan ahead during the off season. You'll be glad you did !

Great! Their staff is extremely professional and proficient. There was nothing that I would have changed about how they did their work. Landscape Creations was also helpful in getting us the best for the budget we had set aside.

Excellent - they were very professional.

This company is wonderful! They got rid of invasive plants that someone had planted previously. They did a lot of work and kept it within our budget. They used existing rocks and then brought new ones in. They put down quality mulch and did absolutely beautiful work. They are reasonably priced and did an excellent job. Both my husband and I were very pleased with the outcome.

They have very skilled and efficient workers. They have an excellent selection of plants and they did some nice design work for us. We have used them more than once and they are very good at making things just right.

I have my projects planned for the next 4 or 5 years with Landscape Creations. Joanne and Peter (owners) came to the property to evaluate and make recommendations within a week of my initial call, and then invited me to their nursery to see a digital rendering of their recommendations and actually see the plants that were included. All of the plants are grown locally so they will definitely withstand our variable and winter weather. Within a week of our meeting at the nursery, Joanne, Peter and an entire crew were right on time to get the job done. The crew worked diligently through the day...and left the property in tip-top shape! Joanne asked me what my budget was from the beginning and definitely stuck to it.....even incorporating some of the original plantings into her design. The transformation of the property is absolutely amazing! I will definitely use them as my primary source for all landscape and property needs. This company deserves an A+ for value, professionalism, creativity, customer service, and work ethic! I highly recommend Landscape Creations!

There is no other word to describe the work that this business does but AMAZING! That is all I found myself saying as I walked around observing the workers and watching my yard while it was transformed into a thing of real beauty and a very practical solution to the problem of soil errosion around the pond. Joanne envisioned and planned a truly beautifl design. The finished product is a work of art. I found myself sitting by the pond taking photos as soon as it was finished. The workers are pleasant, eager to please and very disciplined. They seem to never stop working except for a brief lunch break We did supply them with cold beverages voluntarily and they certainly earned them!. They are meticulous in their attention to detail.They are happy to explain what they are doing. I said to one of them..."You must really love what you do and he said..."I just try to do the very best I can with everything I do. The work that this business does really seems to come from the heart and, I think that that sets them apart from many other business out there. When they were finished landscaping the pond bank, the trimmed many of our overgrown bushes, weeded flower beds and did generat cleanup of our property. While they are working, they are also constantly cleaning up after themselves. We were promised thir services until 6pm and promptly at 6pm the boarded the trucks, one crew member blew the last remaining little bit of dirt off of our driveway and hopped aboard the truck and they were gone. Our property was beautifully transformed and I would almost say, if I didn't see all of that hard, hard work, by some magical force. This business is amazing and I wouldn't hesitat to recommend them.

Peter & Joann at Landscape Creations took a look at our space early in the early summer of 2015 along with a few other regional landscaping vendors. The back of our home had a very steep hill with extensive erosion problems not to mention a 30 year old concrete pad that was cracking and rotting deck. Liking the ideas they had, their attitude and price, we elected to chose them for the work. Working collaboratively we came up with a design for a boulder retention wall for the hill, a new Unilock wall + patio and filling in the erosion with the dirt from the patio dig out. Jose and crew were nothing short of amazing at all they did. From carting in the boulders for the retaining wall (BY HAND), digging out the patio (also BY HAND) and expertly installing the patio and retaining wall around it, it was easy to see these guys are very experienced and good at what they do. The lack of machines kept the noise to a minimum and prevented excess wear and tear on the yard which was a very nice surprise. We did have some issues with how some of the brick came out (problems from the manufacturer, not Landscape Creations) but they were good enough to rectify these issues with the manufacturer to our satisfaction. It's not simply if you run into problems with a contractor, because it's common to have minor issues. It's how the contractor deals with the problems that makes the difference and Landscape Creations definitely did right by us. My only gripe might be that communication was a little spotty at first. I think there were some personal issues at play but we did have some phone calls that took a long time to be returned. That said, once the plans were set and we were committed, everything fell together very quickly. All in, the work for everything took approximately 2 weeks with no gaps at all in between. They came and got it done! I highly commend Landcape Creations for their work. My wife and I are very satisfied with how things came out and we will likely hire them again! In fact, I've already recommended them to a friend and he's very pleased with how things have gone as well! Give these guys a shot on your landscaping project, they are pros and you won't be disappointed.

From the initial mtg. at our home to the design mtg. at their place of business to the completion of the project an A+ grade. Pete and Joanne listened to our ideas first and then developed a professional design based on our wants and their exceptional knowledge in their area of business. Our visit to their business was a treat as they took the time to walk us around their arboretum type property educating us along the way. Then came the enjoyment of actually selecting and tagging the nursery stock to be used at our home. All along the owners made suggestions and recommendations. We NEVER felt rushed throughout the process. We knew when we left we had chosen the right co. for the job. Install day arrived and the crew arrived with the owners as planned. Nursery stock and large rocks were placed and tweaked until the owners were satisfied it was what we all had envisioned. Crew worked non-stop only to break for lunch until sundown. The results are a stunning transformation into a low maintinence landscape that will provide color throughout the year. Well we could go on and on about our satisfaction with this co. and it's owners but as others have said include Pete and Joanne and the Landscape Creations group in your request for a quote on your landscape needs.

The crew was prompt and worked hard all day long. They were skillful and were willing to take initiative. They went far beyond the basic job description. They put a gravel border along the side of the house to protect the siding from rain splatter, climbed a tree and cut off a few branches to allow more sunlight in a shady area, build a low stone wall along the bottom of a slope to retain the gravel, and built a small stone collar around the well head. We were impressed with the quality of the new plants which were from their own nursery. They crew finished a little early so they pruned a couple of bushes, cleaned out an overgrown garden, and removed some pachysandra that had invaded the woods. Even though this was a relatively small job, from our initial contact until the completion of the work, we received full attention from the owners, Peter and Joanne.

It went fantastic. The owners are very knowledgable. They did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it, for the price they said they'd do it for. Their crew was extremely hard working, knowledgable, professional, and friendly. We will definitely be working with them again.

We live in an area where there are lots of trees that block the sunlight and we have deer. Our backyard was a challenge to us but we knew with the right landscapers it could become a wonderful addition to our property. We spoke with several landscapers before we found Landscape Creations. When we met JoAnn and Peter for the first time we were so impressed with Peter's incredible knowledge of plants and JoAnn's flair for detail and design, we knew they were the team we needed. JoAnn created a beautiful design for our yard and she and Peter advised us on what plants to use for a shady area and were deer resistant. We even were invited to their vast nursery and were able to pick the plants we wanted! They gave us a very good price and included our input in every phase of the project. When weather permitted and they were able to do the planting, the Landscape Creations crew was prompt. They were very professional and courteous. The guys paid attention to every detail of JoAnn's design, and she was with them when they arrived. They planted an assortment of plants, bushes, magnolia and maple trees, built a flagstone border around our flowerbed, and a washed gravel retainer border along the fence. Our bland backyard was transformed into a beautiful sanctuary that we absolutely love! If you are looking for a landscaper please give Landscape Creations an opportunity. They will show you what your property can look like with their expertise and concern for creating an outside space for you that will exceed your expectations. That is what they did for us! t

Landscape creations arrived when they said they would. They instructed us on how to take care of the trees and plants and finished the job.

This job went much faster and more complete then i expected. We ware thrilled with the outcome. Our back yard resembles a park now. Before it was tall weeds, overgrown and dead woods area and very unattractive. Great ideas and wonderful crew.

Hand down the best landscaping company I have ever used. From the initial contact, design of project, estimates, time frame, and completion of project the service and professionalism were outstanding. I have already asked them to add me to their annual contract list.

They referred me to the carpentry man and they did an amazing job. I don't know if he works for them or with them. Subnick is the carpenter. My trellises are amazing and so beautiful. I have a birdfeeder in the middle of each trellis and they are built with wood. He also attached some hooks for my flowers and ferns, it's beautiful. It was worth every bit of it. He came out and built it right on site in one day. If I did need some landscaping I would go back to them. Next year when it is time for me to have mulch and all of that I'm going to them instead of the company I used this year. I called them for the trellis and they are the ones that recommended Subnick but I give them the credit because the referral came through them. I’m very pleased and anytime I need any carpentry I would use them. Next year when it is time for my spring clean up, I'm going to see if that is something that they do. Sometimes my neighbors have come across the street just to see the work.

They're wonderful. They are really good. Everything they did was really good. They come when they say they're gonna come. They do the job really good. They are reliable and everyone I talked to really likes the work that they do. They're competitively priced. They're very, very professional.

Were some changes that were performed without our knowledge. Resolved quickly and to satisfaction. Good service and quality work. Prompt and fast / clean .
