Description of Work: Our dryer stopped working, and we called a left a message. He called back that evening, and came out the next morning. However, our dryer decided to work again all by itself! So there was no charge for the call. We would definitely call this company again for appliance repair.

Description of Work: Our clothes dryer wasn't heating up so we called Elmer's after reading reviews on Angie's List. He came out the same day and asked some questions. He found that the heating element sensor switch was tripped. After resetting the switch and turning the dryer on the switch turned off again. He did some experimenting and said that the reason the switch kept tripping was probably that the dryer vent was in need of cleaning. We cleaned the vent and the dryer is working fine. He solved the problem without trying to sell us expensive parts. Great job!

He did a great job and would highly recommend the company and will use them in the future.
Description of Work: Called and left a message regarding my oven, it would not light. He called me the very next business day and I explained the problem and what GE had told me over the phone, it sounded like the igniter need to be replaced. He said he had one in his truck and quoted me the price of 141.00 and said he would be able to be over late morning. He arrived about two hours later and let me know that it was the igniter and quickly replaced it. The price was exactly as he quoted over the phone.

He said the washer wasn't worth fixing. He told me where to go and what brand to go with. He did a good job with the dryer.

Description of Work: I discussed my problem with my Maytag washer over the phone. The gentlemen said he did not work on that model and the bearing and seal were defective (machine was 3 yrs. old). Suggested I call Maytag & I said I left two calls & no call back. He said it would probably cost about $200 to $300 to fix the machine & he suggested I buy a new Whirlpool. So I did and it works fine! Scrapped out the Maytag. Thanks for your prompt call back and the suggestion, it's most appreciated.
