Went well. John came out the next day. Turns out he needed to replace two switches and two burner units. He had to order them and it took a few days, but we were able to use the range safely on the remaining two burners in the meantime. When the parts came in he came out and installed them and aok. Great service and reasonable pricing compared to another appliance service that we had used in the past.

John was able to come in the same day I called. He diagnosed the problem in 5 seconds (literally), disassembled the machine, took out the broken part, went to his truck to get the new one, installed it, put the machine back together and tested it. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. Knowledgable, efficient, professional. Reasonable rates. Would hire him again.

John was very responsive and was at our house within 48 hours of our call. He was able to work around our schedule and arrived just as I got home from work. Right on time. He immediately began to inspect our dryer and repair it. The repair was done quickly and professionally. A job well done.

Our dryer broke today. With 6 children, the idea of going all weekend without a dryer was not ideal. I started calling people at noon (on a Friday). We got a call back within an hour. John came at 1:35. The job was complete within 15 minutes. He charged a reasonable rate-compared to other reviewers. I am now drying a load of clothes. All within a few hours! thank you John. If needed we will call you for all appliance repairs.

I've used John Rodgers for a number of years to repair appliances. He does not repair refrigerators, however. When we discovered from him that the timer control on the oven was bad, he contacted his sources and found that the part was and quot;no longer available.and quot; The only recourse, aside from replacing the whole double oven unit, at $2000, was to have the timer control rebuilt. The source that John had, did not rebuild my type of control, so I spent a few hours on the internet. I found a company in Austin, Texas, that does nothing BUT repair control boards, and took a chance on mailing the board to them. (I'd be glad to give you a review on this company: FixYourBoard.com ..they are on Angies List already).... I paid the UPS to ship it, and within a week, I had the control back, and John put it back in. It is guaranteed for 2 years. Their cost for fixing my board was $160.00, including shipping it back. John's cost was a little over $100, for the initial service call, during which he checked all possible reasons for my oven failure, and tested the electrical lines and connections.....then an additional 2 service visits, to pull out the control, and replace it, and test it. He is prompt, efficient, and professional. I'd recommend him to anyone in my area.

The dryer repair that Elmers's was hired to do was only partially completed. John at Elmer's replaced the heating element that was bad but failed to fix the problem the caused the element to go out in the first place There was a simple clog in the dryer vent line. But John told me that I should replace the entire vent tube and all that was really needed was to remove the out door vent door and clean out. This is what I hired Elmer's to do and they took the easy way out and replace the part and ran away. What ever happen to someone to finishing the job. I would not hire Elmer's again.

Repaired a switch on the clothes dryer. Have used them many times before and always reliable and trustworthy.

Our dryer went out on Saturday, 9/28. Being without a working dryer meant having to go somewhere else to dry our laundry which was a hassle considering we do about 3 loads a day. I called our previous service provider on Sunday, but they couldn't come out til Mon., 10/7 - that meant a week of holding off on laundry or going off site to dry it. I checked Angie's and called the highest rated. The earliest they could come out was Wed., 10/2; that was still too long for us to go without a dryer. I called Elmer's because they had good ratings on Angie's but were a smaller operation and their reviews indicated a quick response time. I left a voicemail at 10:10 am. John called me back at 10:44 and said he could stop in on his way to another job. He arrived at 11:10 and began diagnosing the problem. He tested a fuse and found it was blown. He replaced the fuse and the heater on the dryer worked again. By 11:28, John was done and gone. We could resume doing our laundry. The cost was reasonable: $99. It was nice too, not to have someone try to sell me a service plan. John was professional, friendly, patient with our household members, and worked quickly.

Called. left a message and he returned my call within a 1/2 hour. He was going to another job, but was in the neighborhood, so he stopped over after I explained the problem of water flowing out the detergent dispenser and the missing sock. He was correct in assuming it was the sock causing the problem. He found the sock and pulled it out. In all, the whole thing lasted about 10 minutes. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely use him again and will refer him to my friends.

Called him early morning. Got to me same day in the afternoon. We have six kids and two dogs, so no clothes dryer is a big deal. Mentioned the problem and make of my dryer. Threw in the parts he thought he would need to get it fixed today. Price very fair. Pointed out another problem with venting (which he does not work on). Very, Very happy. Would use him again

He was very knowledgeable and able to fix the machine. It's been running great ever since. He was also very responsive. Even though very busy, he fit us into his schedule.

I called Elmer's this morning desperate to find someone who could come out same day to fix my washing machine. Luckily, John was immediately able to commit to coming in the afternoon and gave me a 2 hour window for his arrival. He came right in the middle of the time he said he would, diagnosed

We called at 8:00am and he came to our house at 10:00am. He was prompt, courteous and extremely professional. He showed my husband what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. He kept my husband informed of his progress. He cleaned up and was pleasant and polite. We will absolutely use their services again!

He is magnificent. He explains everything that needs to be done and will let you know if your appliance is not worth fixing. He had to order new parts and was able to get them in within a few days. He is courteous and on time.

Diagnoses were accurate and parts replacement (door latch, dishwasher motor/pump assembly and oven door springs) corrected all problems. Repairman was neat, courteous and on-time.
