Tibi got back immediately via phone to schedule estimate. Came out next day with his brother, wrote up an estimate quickly and showed stain and finish options. Tibi was able to fit our work between other projects and started the next week. Floors were sanded, stained, and had 2 coats of finish within 5 business days. Tibi patched a small section with damage (which was overlooked during the estimate because boxes covered the area) at no extra cost with matching wood. Tibi was easy to reach and communicated well throughout the whole process. Floors look GREAT through nearly 3 months of wear, a move in, major renovations, and a party! I have ZERO reservations recommending him to family, friends and A.L. users!

Tibi was great as well as his employees. During the estimate, Tibi explained the process and made recommendations on fixing the floor in certain areas. When it came to installation, he referred me to a local hardwood floor manufacturer and offered to pickup the wood at no additional cost. The end result is a great looking floor.

We were not even in town! When we arrived a week later we were amazed at the beautiful job he did. We would recommend him without reservation. Plus...he is a really nice person.

I chose the Sandman based only on the price he quoted, but had I known how great the service and professionalism would be, and how great the floors would look, I would have been willing to pay a lot more. The floors in my new house had never been finished, it appeared. The woman who lived there previously had six dogs and it was basically a barn floor. There were pet stains and water damage everywhere. I wasn't sure that the floors could even be salvaged at all. The job was done on time and the floors look fantastic. I didn't expect the finished product to look nearly as good as it does. I would recommend this guy to everyone I know.

They did a fantastic job on our floors and stairs. Very professional and prompt. It took exactly as long as they had stated in the quote. They did a very good job of keeping the dust contained and removed all debris and trash. The floors look so good we feel like we are living in another house!

It went great. They were clean and fast and careful with everything. They helped my move my washer and dryer (twice). they helped me move a china cabinet. They have indoor and outdoor shoes. Plus, Tibi brought my wife and me two bottles of wine. Just because he wanted to. Great work!!

When we decided to have hardwood installed in our family room we interviewed multiple contractors to get quotes and suggestions on what to put down in terms of wood. We had purchased our home that already had hardwood in the dining room, foyer, and hallway and we wanted the family room to match or at least look cohesive since the existing wood would flow into it. Tibor was very prompt to call me back and schedule the appt for the quote. He also followed up after meeting with me to see if I had any questions on the quote he had emailed over. His quote ended up being the least expensive. We chose to go with 3/4" red oak with a natural stain that Tibi promised would match almost perfectly. When Tibi and his crew came to do the install they were extremely careful to tarp and seal off the family room to prevent as much dust as possible from entering the rest of our house. This was no easy feat with our vaulted ceilings. They also cleaned up each day and vacuumed the hallways where they had walked to minimize the dust being tracked into the rest of the house. Their attention to detail is evident when you look at the work they did on the floor. The boards are in place so tight and they were even able to line up boards to match existing ones in a door way. Tibi also stained shoe molding to match the existing molding and it looks like it was there previously. After the second coat of poly was applied and dried we noticed some bubbles. We called Tibi to ask about them and he came out that next day to see and decided that he wanted to sand and reapply a 3rd coat of poly. The end result are perfectly smooth, beautiful floors. We could not be happier and will be using him in the future along with recommending him to anyone who needs flooring work done.

Best of all! We just purchased a house with a lot of work to do. Among a lot of different contractors we worked with, Tibi and his team is by far the best in every aspect. Our floor turns out to be so beautiful! He came out to do an estimate the same day I called. The price is very reasonable given the amount of work. He is knowledge and passionate about working with hardwood. He explained the refinishing process in detail. The work took about 5 days and Tibi kept us posted with the progress. He spent time to make sure we picked the color we like. Overall, I can't expect more. I will definitely recommend him and use him again if I need to do hardwood floor~~

A great experience from beginning to end. Tibor was very responsive and helpful in selection of the hardwood floors we had installed on the first floor. He and his crew were on time everyday and did an awesome job of installing, refinishing and cleaning up. I would not hesitate to have him come back for additional work. He knows his business from end to end. I now understand his full schedule. He's good at what he does.

We are so thrilled with the work Tibi and his crew did. They were prompt, courteous, professional and never slowed down. Their work was "old school", they didn't cut corners, didn't take breaks, didn't spend the day on their cell phones. The quality of their work is outstanding. The first day was spent pulling up the old subfloor in the dining room, leveling the hump, removing the old hardwood that went the wrong way and the installing the new wood. They matched it beautifully to the old hardwood. Floors were sanded and vacuumed. The next day was staining, followed by three coats of poly. We have cats (who were barricaded in the other side of the house). One managed to pry open our barricade and put paw prints all over the final coat of poly. When we called Tibi he never complained or acted put out; he and his crew were here the next day to make it all right. We would recommend Tibi to anyone and have already booked him to do our family room floor in September.

Tibi returned our call immediately after we reached out to him based on previous Angies List reports. He promptly came down and provided an estimate. We took a few weeks to decide whether or not to move forward with the project. He checked in with us once to ask if we needed any additional information. He referred us to a hardwood manufacturer that he prefers, and we ended up purchasing the wood from that manufacturer, as they had a very nice selection and wonderful quality. Tibi checked in with us while we were waiting for the wood to be delivered and confirmed the planned schedule. He arrived promptly on the day he said he would begin the work and finished the job on the schedule promised. Every day he left our home in a clean, comfortable and livable condition. We were prepared to have to go out to eat every night and spend our evenings upstairs, but that wasn't the case based on how Tibi and his crew left our home each day. We were still able to use the kitchen and watch tv downstairs. We paid him exactly the amount of his estimate. No hiccups at all along the way, and the floors turned out beautiful. We would highly recommend Tibi to anyone looking for hardwood. He is a true professional and passionate about his craft.

Sandman's work was great! crew was professional and on time each day. did a fantastic job bringing 70 year old oak floors back to life.

They worked us into their schedule on short notice. The floors are beautiful. A few bubbles and bumps, but that is to be expected. I liked the fact that they use oil-based products. They may not be quite as "environmentally friendly," but from experience, the finish on my floor will last a long, long time.

Tibor was great! He gave me a quote that was very reasonable and then was able to get the work done within a respectable time frame. The stairs had previously been covered in carpet so he needed to pull old staples and then fill the holes. Once they finished the sanding, they even cleaned up. And they did a great job with the clean up. Each coat that went down he had me look over and make sure I was happy. I would highly recommend Sandman for anyone needing wood flooring work. He is very busy but well worth the wait!

Tibor Regele is the person I dealt with. He is the best handyman. He is always on time; the price is good and does a good job. He fixed things, cleaned up and took care of things. I will use him again in the future.

Overall, it was a great experience. They completed all the work they were supposed to. They did a great job of minimizing any mess and his time frame for doing the job, including dry time was accurate and on target.

With little doubt, I would work with them for a second time.

Everyone was on time, everyday. They kept the dust to a minimum by hanging sheets of plastic and were careful to be tidy. All the waste and dust was thoroughly cleaned up after the job was finished. Throughout the process we were able to discuss the progress and make changes as needed (such as replacing a few floorboards and adjusting the darkness of the stain). The project was handled professionally, and everyone was personable and pleasant. The only downside was that we were required to dispose of the bags of waste, which was easy enough. We recommend using this company.

Highly recommend the use of of Tibor especially if you are dealing with older hardwood floors that were installed over 80 years ago. Tibi is a younger man with the knowledge of old world craftsmanship. Hard to find workman with his kind of knowledge today. He knows his craft and his business and cares about doing the job the right way. Will definitely recommend to others and hire again.
