We have a hundred year old house with the original hardwood floors. John and Chris did a truly fabulous job of refinishing our kitchen floor. Their price was very reasonable and the quality of the craftmanship was superb. I recommend them highly, and will use them again in the future.

When I tell you these guys are pros, they are pros. I love having referrals instead of big companies and Sandman was one of the best referrals we've ever had. They have done two of our floors and both look amazing. The first floor was a re-finish of an existing floor and the other was tearing out the entire floor and starting from the floorboards. Their process is fantastic and they usually finish one floor in about 4 days. They are also great at communication and John let's you know where you are at in the process at all times. If you want your hardwood floor done right, this is the company you want to do it. If we ever need our floors done again, I will be calling them out. On top of their great work, they are extremely nice, polite, and they will let you know when they need something. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Janos was amazing! He contacted me immediately to see how he could help and scheduled an appointment quickly to see what I wanted done. He complimented our existing red oak floor and recommended sanding/staining the existing floor. I had a sub-floor in the dining room that was covered in carpet and surrounded by hardwood that I needed fixed with hardwood. He made suggestions on how this area could be fixed. He scheduled time for the work and kept the dates. Janos and his partner arrived on time each day and worked thoroughly. They were very considerate and professional. He did a wonderful job on the dining room area that I was so concerned about by framing around the area in way that makes the floor look seamless. The work he did in that room was truly artistic and displayed amazing craftsmanship. The feel and look of the flooring is better than I expected. The sanding made the floors look and feel brand new. The staining brought warmth to the existing hardwood which is exactly what I hoped for. I would recommend Janos to anyone!

John did an excellent job of refinishing the hardwood floors in a house I just purchased in Lakewood. They took out the old carpet upstairs which revealed an old Lakewood hardwood floor with some rough spots. After John finished the job you would not be able to tell anything was wrong. I am very satisfied with the end result. John was also very easy to work with - I left a lockbox at the house and had complete peace of mind. Would definitely recommend John and his team for any flooring job.

Janos and Tibi did a very good job. Janos explained each step of the process. It was very difficult to choose the stain, but Janos helped with this as well. My floor turned out beautifully. They work nicely and cleanly and, most importantly, they are accurate and you can count on them. I can only recommend them to everyone because they do professional work.

Tibi and his crew are great, very kind and professional. Tibi gave a fair estimate, always showed up on time, and did great work. The hardest part is choosing what stain to go with after they sand your floors and put down some sample colors (ended up choosing dark walnut on my red oak floors). They were also very good at not getting stain all over the white baseboard/door trim. Highly recommend and would hire again.

Tibi and his crew did a great job redoing my hardwood floors. They were very professional and informative about redoing the floors. My floors were from the 1960s, and they were severely scratched and damaged. They literally look brand new. I would highly recommend.

The appointment went well. They showed up on time and were very responsive. They were also honest, which was appreciated. Our floors weren't thick enough and they explained their sanders would sand too far removing too much wood. Even though we were unable to have our floors done, we were very impressed by this company and would highly recommend to others.

This is the second time we have used Tibi and would not hesitate to use his service again if needed. He is reliable and responsive and above all, does outstanding work. He purchased the wood and dropped at our home 10 days before the project start date. Started the job on the designated start date of contract and worked to completion. The floors look awesome.

Tibi was very flexible in meeting my urgent need to get the floors in my house sanded. They were in rough shape and were near perfect when complete. The progress pictures were nice as he was completing the job. Most importantly the work was done well, no burns or scuffs left in the floors or near the edges - very smooth - what a difference!

They were fabulous. I had technical difficulties posting my review when they did the job. I had a bad experience with a previous floor company in another house and was dreading this. Other contractors that have come into the house have complimented me on the job they did. There was no dust when they left and they came back immediately to take care of one piece of furniture that was in the wrong place and too heavy for me to move. Their price was great and I have already recommended them to other people.

Tibi did a fantastic job on our floors. We couldn't be happier with the results. He was able to seamlessly match our living room floors with our previously finished dining room floor. He was even able to remove some light gouges on the floor. All of my contacts with Tibi were returned promptly and he was very professional. Everything looks better than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend Tibi the Sandman to anyone looking to finish their hardwood floors.

Unfortunately he has a severe allergy to cats ( I have one) and he cannot provide services if you own cats. Seemed very professional
