Generally speaking, Hemlock is the best lawn care company we've ever worked with. The crew is friendly, cooperative, and professional; they are receptive to customer requests. I recommended Hemlock to my next-door neighbor last year and she hired them for this year and is very pleased.

For our anniversary I wanted to surprise my hubby by having the yard cleaned up really well so he would just have to maintain. With two newborns there is no time to have him outside for hours on end! I got a prompt estimate and proceeded to hire Hemlock. They plow our driveway, on time, as often as it takes, all winter, with no damage, so I knew I could trust their work. The crew came, they were here the better part of the day, I don't recall how long, but they pruned, mowed, leaf-blew (so many leaves as our neighbor doesn't believe in picking up leaves), edged, raked, everything to get the yard to a really nice place! Very happy with the finished product. Pricey, but it is a lot of hard work. In addition, my husband received a few estimates for mulching our front, back and side yard. Our house sits on a little over an acre. There were already mulch beds, they just really needed to be addressed. We liked the punctuality of the estimate and, to be honest, the quoted price. I think mulch is mulch, I'm told it is not all the same, but I based the hiring on cost and prior relationship. On the scheduled mulch day, I think 5 guys were here putting the mulch down. It took quite awhile. They really made everything look nice. Job very well done. We were very satisfied. Happy with Hemlock and would recommend them!

I had an issue with another provider, so I called this one and they came right out to fix the issue we had. They come and do the lawn every week and they are great! I like this company a lot and do not have any reason to change companies!

The company has been out 2 times, we are on a 4 per season plan. The price is reasonable, and the communication is excellent. They had been out as scheduled, and when there was a rain delay, we were notified they could not come and when it was rescheduled. A notice is always left informing us of what was done.

We have two small retaining walls on both sides of our driveway in the ditch that is near the road. They were built years ago and are sagging and crumbling and I have to rebuild them about every year but erosion and time takes it's toll. We wanted a professional to rebuild them correctly and make them structurally sound and add some new rocks that match the existing. We also did not want to pay $2,000 since the walls are relatively small. Hemlock's client service person listened to what we wanted to do, he had a "can do" attitude and got back to us via email with a price that worked for both of us. It took them about 6 weeks to get back and do the work but that was not a problem. My wife and I were very pleased with the work as they did a nice job and it looks like they really took their time to make it look right.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the service we received from Hemlock Landscaping! After our initial call within a few days a gentleman came out to give us a price and date of service. The company keep to their promise and sent out two very knowledgeable gentlemen to do the work. They worked quickly, neatly, and cleaned up all the branches and ruble to our satisfaction! They asked my husband several times if the job was to his satisfaction! Their customer service is great. The workers are nice. They come out once a week to mow the lawn, they do the trimming, and blow any grass off the driveway and sidewalks. Two people come out. They usually takes them 30 minutes. I would tell a friend or family member they are business like, they are polite and leave the place neat.
