It went extremely well. They were very punctual in getting back to me. After explaining what I wanted done to the person who came out a short time later, I was quickly provided with a price quotation. Some time later as ageed upon, a team of 3-4 workers came out and worked the entire day, completely transforming my yard. Everyone was polite and very professional, and did everything with care, not damaging any of my other plants or leaving any debris. While the quoted price initially seemed high, after seeing the excellent results I felt that it was definitely worth it.

Hemlock did a beautiful job cleaning up and pruning my mother's backyard. The work they did was transformational. Hemlock is professional. They listen to your needs and wishes and work hard to make them happen. Also, their knowledge runs deep and I thought their prices were very fair. I would highly recommend!

We wanted three beds in our front yard completely re-landscaped, except for a tree in each bed to remain. The removed all old plants and refreshed the bed with a hearty bed mix. In one bed we wanted them to construct a rock wall (about 18" high x 15' long). To help keep this from getting too long, I'll get to the point... The rock was looked great, but the plantings never really took off (see photos taken four months after planting). At the end of the growing season, everything looked very anemic. We had them come out to have a look and were told to give it until the spring. Come spring, we still had a very sickly looking front yard. One thing was evident - either their design called for the wrong plants, or they didn't plant enough to make it look as promised. The size of the plants they did install appeared to be way undersized or too sparse. A number of plants were dead by the spring. Many other looked horrible. Of the seven Leucothoe, all seven looked pretty bad (see photo). They were covered with dead foliage. We were told that this was "winter burn". Hemlock "promised" to replace the dead plants, however, their definition of a dead plant left something to be desired. We were told that because the Leucothoe still had green foliage, they did not qualify as needing to be replaced. After many emails, phone calls and visits, we became very frustrated and ended up telling them to just deliver the replacement plants they indicated. My wife and I put them in ourselves and purchased additional ones to do the job right.

I am beyond disappointed with Hemlock. For a company with such positive reviews their customer service, and follow though, is unacceptable. I contacted them on May 8th to have someone set up an appointment for a quote on getting my front and back yard landscaped (hard and soft). I received a quick follow up that same days saying that a "sales rep" would contact me shortly. However that never happened, and when on May 14th I reached back out to let them know that I was never contacted, I again was not acknowledged or contacted. Very unfortunate.

Very well. We did not get other quotes to compare costs because Hemlock had performed so well at another property we had owned. Hemlock has been with us one year at this home and they are already making a nice difference in the lawn.

Hemlock Landscapes always meets, and often exceeds, our expectations. Their work is completed in a timely fashion. Their employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Our questions are always answered quickly and thoroughly. We love how our “garden” areas have been transformed by their vision. I would recommend their services without any reservations!

The lawn care/fertilization has been excellent. They always edge the grass and the flower beds...keeping those neat and trim is important to me. They work quickly and efficiently, and have been very responsive to any questions I have posed.

Working with Matt Siracusa was excellent. He was always professional, quick to respond and follow thru. His crew who did the actual work were great too. The one disappointment was from the design department. Matt and I had to re-do the first suggested design and then when it came to planting the instructions and lack of plan/design left the crew and I out in the rain arranging all of the plants on our own.

Hired this company to weed and mulch my garden beds. Weeds where popping out of the mulch within 7 days of the job being completed. Contacted company and they sent one man out to weed and spray for two hours. Needless to say my wife and I ended up weeding the beds ourselves. Overall we are disappointed how the job turned out.

Very prompt and professional. However, based on the scope and request for the work, I believe that the proposal for work was outrageous. No hardscaping, just planting. Example, for my request of 6-8 trees/shrubs on privacy line (6-8 feet) the quote was $7,900. The quotes had only a final price so there was no way for me to understand what I would have been charged for. I asked for an itemization, and the response was "we don't do that." The second quote for expanding an existing bed and adding shrubs where a tree had been removed was equally outrageous - $6,500. Was he trying to take advantage of me or did they really not want the job?? I'll never know. Beware.

The customer service part was fine.? They just were more expensive than I was hoping to pay. We've always been do-it-yourself-ers but my husband's ill now.? I was having to do a lot of things now so I was trying to keep it a little less than that.? As far as my contact which was he called me back, he showed up, he gave me a very quote.? I would give him an A for that.? A customer has a right to pick who they want so that's not against him.? It wasn't outlandish it was just more than I was hoping.

Excellent. They come by on a monthly basis. I don't have any comparison on price. The price varies depending upon application. They are professional. They work that they do is good and it's effective. They seem reasonably priced. They send us an email in advance with a date a time. They leave a stake in the ground when they have done work. They then send a follow up email.

This is the first time we used them. They seem to know what they are doing. Our lawn has improved tremendously.

I have known them for a long time. They are wonderful. I have used them for more than 10 years. I know the guy that owns it. They are very near to me know. They are wonderful people. They are very thoughtful and caring. They do a good job. I have talked to them, and they know that. I think highly about them. I know a lot of them personally by name. They are trustworthy and do a fantastic job. The price is reasonable. The quality of the work is excellent. They fixed up my trees the other day after they mowed. I know their names with I call them up. They even know my wife. Their responsiveness is excellent. They are always on time. Everything about them is excellent. I recommend them to a lot of people. They are excellent and dependable people. I call the owner and tell him that they are doing a good job because nobody tells them when they are doing good. I like to tell people how good they are doing. I would recommend them to anybody. They work hard.

They did a great job, but the actual price ended up significantly higher than the estimate (36% higher).

They've worked with us for years. They do all of our landscaping and yard work. They've done very large installation projects for us like patios and staining for us in that area. So yes we use them year round. They stained a deck that they installed, and they did a real nice job. There was no splatter no problems, we weren't even there. They did a great job. I've used them for 10 years. They are extremely knowledgeable. They do what they say they're going to do. They do beautiful work, and we've never had any problems with them.
