They are the best landscaping services I have ever had. They are excellent. I have used them for three years.

Spring cleanup with mulch was fantastic. Very hard workers, did a nice job. Weekly lawn mowing is done well. Have used tree service providers and satisfied with results with that as well.

Always responsive and good, hard working employees. They go the extra mile.

Over all the job was done well. What I was not happy with was when they came I had no idea they were there. No machines were used for quite some time. I wish they would have rang the door bell. I had a couple of things I wanted to let them know before they started. By the time I saw them the it was to late. I wanted to let them know, do not cut the new 5 ft tall shoots off my Magnolia Tree, and split and plant my Hostas. My Magnolia tree was trimmed very short and the shoots were cut. The Hostas had been cut to the ground and he had move on to another job. As part of my original request and estimate i wanted 3 lilac trees transplanted. That did not happen either. Otherwise my yard looks good. Being a single mom makes they yearly clean up next to impossible.

Eric came to our home, he assessed our needs listening to our thoughts. Their designer, Karen, developed a plan and they implemented the design. The port-a-potty was delivered and the project began! They have very consciousness workers who not only have a great work ethic but they are also very talented in the many things they can do. Miguel and Martin are multi-talented and can transition when weather or unforeseen obstacles occur. They are kind and care about the safety, cleanliness and services they provide. Mark as the supervisor made visits throughout the project and we had visits from the owner, Dennis. Not only does he care about his business, he also cares about the people that work for him. Well done!

Fantastic! I keep getting rave reviews from my neighbors on the quality of the work and the speed that it was done. We continue to use Hemlock and will for the foreseeable future. The quotation process was smooth, and they did a great job of recommending different cost options and not high pressure up-selling. As an aside, these guys are the ONLY way to fertilize and weed control your lawn. I tried to do it myself for years and had more clover than grass and a lovely field of yellow dandelions each year. After 2 treatments the clover and weeds were gone and my yard was thick and healthy. LOVE THESE GUYS!

It started off slow, didn't get mulch until around the 4th of July. They had advertised individualized service and attention but we were treated in the opposite manner - seemed like they were a large company that maybe expanded too quickly and couldn't keep up with demand? It was a rainy start last summer so maybe that is part of it, but we were the last in our area it seemed for mulch, and it took about a month to get an estimate for new shrubs. Later in the season they were more responsive. They did a nice job with the lighting. They always showed up to cut and did a nice job on fall cleanups.

I initially hired Hemlock to mow my lawn, based on the good Angie's List reviews I'd read. I've subsequently used them for lawn aeration and this year will be using them for weed control. Our account manager is very knowledgeable, and while she does reach out periodically, she never gives us a "hard sell" for their services. I think their pricing is very reasonable, compared to other quotes I've received. The crew that comes out to take care of the lawn seems to change from week-to-week, but they are responsive, pleasant and easy to work with. I am a very picky customer, and I would really recommend Hemlock to anyone.

They are wonderful people to work. They are not inexpensive. Work around your schedule, artistic, and professional.

We have used Hemlock for many years for all of our landscaping needs. The quality of their work is always excellent and we have always been satisfied with the results. The redesign of our backyard was a big job and handled in a totally professional manner. Their crew was very skillful, friendly, courteous, and respected our inputs. There was no way to get machinery into our yard because we have only two narrow access points. All the stone for the patio and walkways had to be moved manually. We have recommended Hemlock to many people over the years.

Very reliable weekly service and the lawn always looks wonderful afterwards. Proactively seeks feedback and open to special requests and new opportunities.

The lawn cutting itself went fine but our issue is with what they charge. Typically the lawn takes my husband about 90 minutes to cut with our ride-own tractor. Hemlock's staff billed us for over 6 hours of work! Furthermore I observed them taking frequent breaks to smoke and relax. We questioned Hemlock as to the charges and they claimed that, in order to cut the lawn to their satisfaction, they require more time to dispose of clippings and that the lawn required 4 passes. Um, how about asking *us* what we wanted instead of just going ahead and billing for a huge amount of work? Even when the grass is longer it does not take us 6 hours to cut it. In summary, we feel taken advantage of. The lawn was cut well, the amount charged and the attitude of the workers leaves much to be desired.

Hemlock was very professional, their quote was reasonable, and they honored their quote to the dime. I was skeptical about the supposedly low-maintenance roses they planted, but they really are quite low-maintenance. Their work is easy to maintain and was overall a great value.

The spring cleanup was done well enough but I also wanted Hemlock to add a bluestone pad outside the pedestrian door to my garage and wanted it to match an existing bluestone patio. Eric Kirschner said he would sketch a design so we would agree on the dimensions and layout. He never did although during several phone calls to find out the status of my project he told me it was delayed or almost ready, always almost ready but actually never done. I finally got tired of waiting and told Hemlock I no longer wanted them to do the work. I won't use the company again because they didn't do what they said they would do. And for what they actually did for me, they were expensive.

Last year, they were great but this year not so well.

I have used Hemlock Landscapes and I have recommended them to Angie's List before and I gave them all stars. The cost for everything is different. I have shopped around and their prices are fair and reasonable. I see their trucks in the neighborhood and I just went up and talked to them and interviewed them. My landscaper wasn't doing a good job so I thought I wanted to find somebody new and once I found these guys, I stuck with them. I have been using them for 5 years. They are friendly, honest and they do a good job.

Things are good. They do a fine job for us. Their price is good.

They do everything right. They're very responsive when you call them. They are the best I found so far. They are not the cheapest landscaping company but quality is more important to me.

Hemlock does a great job. I especially like Susan, who does our garden visits to maintain the flower beds, shrubs, etc. They are professional, make the yard look great, and are very responsive to emails. Landscaping is expensive, but seems relatively comparable to others in the industry.

Outstanding. Two men arrived promptly at 8:30AM and worked their butts off until complete at 6:15PM--stopping only for short lunch break. Beds were in poor shape, had not been worked in two years. When they left, my wife said they never looked that good. Very satisfied with the entire experience end to end. Will be using them in future.

After getting a quote last year for service, I got an email from Hemlock this year with an updated quote. The person with whom I corresponded was prompt and courteous, answering my questions completely. Although we went with another provider, ultimately, I appreciated Hemlock's professionalism.
