Description of Work: Installed a new grounded electrical line from the garage to the bathroom along with an outlet and a switch. The price seems high but due to time constraints I did not get other quotes. I'm so glad I finally have an outlet in the bathroom.

Description of Work: Talk about sticker shock! First of all you should NEVER pay for an estimate! At the point I got their written quote I felt like I had been run over by a Mack truck!! |Yes, they wore covers on their shoes, and yes they pointed out things that weren't on my "Must Have" list, they were polite, however they seemed annoyed that I didn't have time to wait an hour for them to write up my quote. |Shame on me for thinking that with 13 things on my MUST do list that I would expect to see some sort of price break without having to pay $179 to become a VIP member, which by the way would have saved me roughly $2500. |Here's an example of how overpriced they are ... I needed 6 outlets changed to GFI. Even at the most expensive one outlet would cost no more than $20, then 15-20 minutes per to replace and my quoted price was over $800. Even with the VIP discount it would still cost over $100 per outlet. |Another example was the cost to replace a Federal Pacific box. Clover quoted over $4000 and all the other estimates averaged around $2500 or less, all were given the verbage used in the Clover quote. |I can't tell you how that made me feel ... well actually I can. Two electricians come into my house, see that I just bought it, that I needed the work done within the week, and she's single and doesn't know any better ... I felt very taken advantage of.

Description of Work: The technician who came to the home was professional but the services quoted were way overpriced. We decided to go with another provider and they still charged a $79 estimate fee. Other companies don't charge an extra fee just come give an estimate.

Description of Work: I have a kiln that they did wiring for us on. They also did wiring on the patio for out door outlets, they reconstructed our electrical box downstairs also. That way if we have outages we can use a generator if we want.

Description of Work: We called Clover electric to have someone come out and replace electrical outlets throughout the entire house and check and outside flood light and our overhead light/fan in the bedroom. The technician "Jeff" was prompt, polite, respectful and very helpful. He wore booties over his shoes, opened and closed the doors properly as he made trips to his van to get equipment and was a pleasure to interact with. He was careful and thorough, cleaning up as he went and worked without complaint or an attitude. I felt as if I was in the "Twilight Zone" because he was exactly the kind of workman you would want to deal with. I absolutely reccomend Clover Electric and now when we need ANY electrical done we will call them! Jeff is an asset to this company and I highly reccomend him as a technician! In the end we were happy, reassured and felt safe again. A+
