It didn't! Since they didn't contact me, I have NO work date. How can I add a work date if they didn't do any work ?????

The overall experience went very well. I was pleased with the results.

There was a promotion (Angie's List) for a whole-house circuit breaker. I had done plenty of research on these items and knew that they varied considerably in quality and in the warranty/insurance that go with them. The telephone person when I made the appointment did not have technical information, and when the technician arrived, I decided I wanted a better item with stronger insurance than on the promotion. So I decided to spend more money (but I knew the quality of what I decided to get, and knew that it was a very fair price). A few days after I made the appointment, I called back and told the telephone person about the ceiling fan installation. Everything went smoothly on the day of the appointment. Since then, everything has been fine.

I found them on Angie's List and used a special for their service. They were very professional.

I used a big deal coupon for $279 worth of service for $79. I had an outlet that worked but was broken and one that had problems. CLOVES called Clover and they made an appointment. The electrician called the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. I showed him the problems and fixed them within one hour.

They are on time and knowledgeable. Jeff was pleasant and explained what he was going to do. If he ran into any kind of problem, he would explain what had been done incorrectly prior to that. He did everything right. He covered everything and cleaned up. The condition of our home was the same when he left as when he came in. He did not waiver from his price. I would highly recommend him.

Technician was extremely professional. He did a great job with the installation, took great care to keep the work space clean, and called ahead to notify me when he would be arriving. Overall, very very good job. The only downside is the cost. Price to install a ceiling fan is normally around $350 (which is more than I paid for the fan). I purchased an "Angie's list Big Deal" to offset some of the cost, but I still paid over $150 for the service.

Clean, quick. went the extra to route wiring though ceiling. Very thoughtful about what I was trying to accomplish. Jeff survey the situation and had a plan in minutes. He routed the wiring so that I was not able to see it. He also asked about how I was using the electric and made recommendation about my application, 120 vs Low Voltage Lighting. I should have asked about installing a double outlet though. I already have the single used up. I would highly recommend.

They are very courteous. They do excellent work.

Job went well. Jeff arrived on time, worked all day and then came back to finish the next week. Very clean, expert workmanship, answered all my questions, did a very professional job. Price was kind of high but timely and quality work is worth it.

Our service technician Mike showed up at the scheduled service time. I was glad to see an ad for electrical service on Angie?s list and we jumped at the $79 for $279 of electrical service. Mike came out and quoted all of the services we requested which included hanging a ceiling fan to replace an existing dome ceiling light fixture, running a new circuit to add a switch and electrical outlet, running two new exterior light outlets, and running a new electrical outlet to our kitchen. My one complaint with Clover is that if their pricing is based on a baseline price for repair, why take the additional time to have an electrician come out and write a quote? If your pricing is a ?no hassle? philosophy, I would like to see as a customer all available options. My pricing was put into different packages. I understand that when doing multiple projects, I can get a better bundled price, but a little more transparency would go a long way in understanding the overall costs associated with quality work. That being said, all we hired Mike to perform was the installation of a ceiling fan. With all of the backlog work created with the Angie?s List coupon, I was highly satisfied with Mike?s ability to come back the same week to hang the fan once I went out and purchased one. He was very courteous and used shoe covers to make sure he did not track any outside debris into our home (very professional). The fan was installed and works great. I asked if I had any issues with the fan after the installation if they would come back if there were any problems. Mike said they would. Although expensive, many of the legitimate Angie?s List reviews are accurate. They do good work, but they?re not cheap. I?m sure if I had a bad experience with another electrician, I wouldn?t see their cost being so high, but I would like to see more transparency with their pricing in the future.

Jeff was on time, called ahead, and arrived when promised. I didn't have any emergency, so I was able to wait, and the company fit my work schedule. Jeff explained everything fully and repaired everything in a timely fashion. I was completely satisfied with the work.

They did a great job. They did the job on time. They did good work. They put their time into it and talked to me about what they were doing. They did a great job overall.

The electrician, Mike, was very nice and professional. He arrived on time and provided an estimate to me, over the phone as I was at work and the project was mine, although my husband was at home to answer general questions. My husband says Mike was courteous and careful with our possessions as he worked. When I arrived home, I was absolutely delighted with the new lighting! I reviewed the estimate and the invoice and had a pricing issue I needed clarified. I called Clover Electric and told the dispatcher I needed some clarification on the pricing. She told me that Tom, the manager, would get back with me the next day. Tom called me first thing in the morning and we discussed my concerns. He provided clarification of my concerns and pleasantly resolved my issues. I was impressed with his friendliness, and his determination to ensure I was a happy customer. Which I am! I would hire them back without reservation.

The electrician and I discussed the work and he provided the estimate of $663 which I thought was extremely high, but realized he also had to do the diagnostic work on the pool outlet. He told me the estimate would not be over this amount. He completed the diagnostic work on the pool outlet and then told me it was a simple job. All he needed to do was replace the outlet. But he then proceeded to say that it would not be any less than the $663 due to the company policy of providing an estimate upfront and then sticking to the estimate. I told him this was quite high for the work done and he simply said it was the policy and there was nothing he could do about it. He ended up knocking off $30. I still feel ripped off, as there is no way replacing an outlet and raising another one should cost this much. I will certainly not be purchasing any more Angie's List "Deals of the Day". Angie needs to check out these types of operations and so called "deals". The $200 "discount" I received in the deal was obviously counterbalance with an overly high estimate. This was a deal for the electrician only, not for the customer. To top it off, the work was shoddy. He put in a non GFCI outlet by the pool. The outlet he put in the bathroom is so crooked I could see it instantly without using a level. In addition, he left a big hole in the wall where the outlet had been, that I will have to fix on my own. This experience did not at all meet my expectations - either for the electrical work or for the Angies List Deal of the Day. You both get an F on this one.

Clover is an exceptional company and the first one that I know of to suggest that some work be done to cover the $79 that I spent in hopes of adding a light above my stove. I wanted it hard-wired and that turned out to be too expensive. When I declined the estimate, the very nice technician made the suggestion to install two GFI outlets near the kitchen sink. It has been several months since Clover was here, but when I called them last week to help me figure out why my dishwasher was shutting down mid-stream, they sent a service rep. to my home the same day to double check the GFI outlet that was being affected and at no charge. That's commendable.

We fell for a discount coupon promotion they ran on Angie's list. WE HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT OURSELVES!!!! Clover does GOOD WORK, but PLEASE get a few estimates before you ask them to bid. We had just moved and wanted ceiling fans in our family room and bedroom. We bought the fans ourselves and asked Clover to install them. The fans were under $75 each --- installation was over $800 each if you factor in the discount coupon we purchased. Again ---- OUR FAULT ----- WE WERE IN TOO MUCH OF A HURRY. WE DIDN'T HAVE OTHERS QUOTE. We accepted Clover's estimate for the job. They did what they promised and did it well.

We had tried to change our own light switch but knew we needed an electrician's help when the sparks started flying. Clover came out the next day after we called. The electrician replaced the light switch and inspected the wiring in the wall outlet since we have an older home. He was up front about his estimate of the cost of the work before beginning. He was polite, and his work was clean and thorough. We will call Clover again for any electrical service we need.

Their service is good. They did a good job. They are friendly and diligent. They dealt with the complications that come from working on an older home. They make good recommendations. I keep adding more tasks for them because I am happy with what they are doing. I am happy to have them re-working a large part of the electrical system in my 90 year old home.

We think they do good work and would use them again in the future.

I had a bad experience with another company - not being responsive - so I went back to the List. I found Clover and they have a website that lets you register to be contacted. I did it Sunday evening and Monday morning before 8:30 AM, I got a call. I was told that someone could be at my house before 10:30! They have a service truck that seems to be well-equiped because he did not have to go get any parts. He pointed out that a second light had a socket that also would need to be replaced so he did both. I used a $50 coupon. The downside with this company is that there is a $79 "dispatch fee" that you can't get aound. The price without the coupon was $379.00 When I weighed that against having to put in a new system (materials and labor) I think it was pricey but beat the alternative.

They sent 2 friendly and very competent men, who gave us prices for the various tasks and went right to work. They fixed our garage power circuit and gave me advice about the ceiling light fixtures I had bought. While they installed the bathroom exhaust fans, I ran out and got new light fixtures, which they quickly installed. We also had 3 wall outlets that didn't work and one that was hanging off a basement stud, and they replaced them all on the spot. It was all incredibly easy and everything works perfectly.
