Clover Electric

Work took about 4 days & was performed by a very competent electrician. Our main electrical panel was replaced along with the underground entrance connection; a new panel was installed in the garage along with several new outlets. Everything went perfectly and was completed on time.

Mike arrived on time, we discussed options and he provided me with a quote on the spot. We agreed on the price and the fixtures and he left to pick up the pictures from the supplier. He returned with the fixtures and completed the job the same day. I had to leave during the install. When I returned, the job was complete and the house was just as I had left it. Mike is an excellent electrician and Clover is lucky to have him.

I have had problems with one of my kitchen electrical circuits for years. (My house is close to 100 years old and has a crawl space under the kitchen.) Just before the new year (2013) the circuit kept tripping in a random fashion. Previous electricians had told me they would have to rip into my kitchen wall to do any re-wiring. Clover Electric came out on New Year's Eve, gave me an accurate estimate and within 10 fays were able to schedule a visit and rewire two outlets with no fuss or damage. The electricians were excellent - professional, neat, just terrific - even the dog liked them! I am also happy with the LED lights - they are expensive but give very nice quality light.

Excellent service from this company. AL made a mistake in the big deal I purchased ($279 of services for $79, rather than the company's requested $200 for $79). The company honored what I purchased, however, and did a great job with the light fixtures and installing the timer switch. Excellent follow through on a quote for a bathroom fan replacement also.

Extremetly well. After we had agreed upon a time and date, the electrician arrived promply at his appointment time. He was polite, professional and extremely competent. The entire process took well under one-half hour.

Came out and inspected wiring and fuse box and all concerns I had. He gave recommendations and I have to make an appointment to get some outdated wiring that needs to be upgraded done. The person who came out was very informative and explained everything that needed to be done and answered any questions or concerns I had.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS MINDFUL OF MY NEEDS AND HE RECOMMENDED THE LEAST EXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE TO WHAT I HAD IN MIND. CLEAN, EFFICIENT, AND PROMPT WAS THIS EXPERIENCE.

He was on time, very professional and did an excellent job. I would use their company again.

They came out, put in an outlet and looked around. They were prompt, polite, professional. nice. The office people were, likewise, everything one would expect.

Took off the $79.00 right away for service call,which I don't remember being stated in the offer.Other than that, it sure doesn't seem in the least bit that I got $200.00 dollars worth of work done.Didn't seem that there was much effort to see what the problem was.In all fairness the electrician seemed professional acting and polite and I did get a nice little flashlight and the hall switch put in,but without a doubt my problem was no where near fixed or solved,somewhat even got worse.They did offer to come back out,but if they found another problem they wanted another $79.00 plus possibly more.Which I'm trying to figure out why,since I already paid them $79.00 and was supposed to get $200.00 dollars worth of service ,it wasn't figured out in the first place.$200.00 dollars worth of labor sure doesn't seem to go far with this company.I would not recomend this deal to anyone else.

Did a great job installing exterior lights on my home. When one of the lights went out a week later, they came back and fixed the problem, updating circuitry.

Found Clover on Angies list. Called to get an estimate on work to be done. Rep was responsive and courteous. Reviewed work to be done and estimated $4000. Got second estimate from Caire electric (also on Angies List) for $1575. Need I say more????

The job took a long time, due to rerunning the wires through the wall.

We bought the deal on Angie's List and thought we could get 2 outlets and a security light installed on our new pole barn. We supplied all materials,and the breaker box had been installed before they came out. The price far exceeded the value of the deal ! They wanted over twice the value of the deal just to install the security light, which we provided. They were prompt and the man that did the work was very professional. I feel since we had everything needed, wire, outlets, cover plates, electrical pvc tubing, breakers, wire staples, wire nuts, etc. the price was excessive. The deal was a $200.00 value, for this price all we got was 2 outlets and one switch, that's why we wouldn't use them again or buy another Angie's List deal from this company.

i bought a big deal for two hours of electrical service. I wanted two outlets grounded. they installed surge protector outlets instead because grounding was prohibitively expensive. charged alot more than the two hours. i probably could've gotten the same thing with two good surge plug in surge protectors

The electrician arrived on time and was able to complete the work that we had hired him for--fixing the laundry room light. This is the first time that we have had to hire an electrician to perform work, so our view of pricing may not be entirely accurate, but we asked about changing a lightbulb in a recessed can light in a vaulted ceiling, and the price quoted seemed very high. We ended up getting a ladder and changing the bulb ourselves. Overall, we were very pleased with the Angie's List coupon we purchased and the work that was performed.

The representative sent to my house was very professional, but the estimate given for he job was quite shocking. I ended up getting an electrician for 1/10 of the price quoted by Clover and the work was very well done by the much lower price technician. Clover is mainky a big job commercial contractor (union workers, etc.). They really do not want to service residential clients who have only small jobs.

I've used Clover a few times this year. Once for my primary residence and a few times for a new property for my elderly mother. The first technician sent was quiet, friendly, but I had a few issues with some of his work (quality, details, and lacking polished customer service with my mom). After the 3rd visit to my mom's residence, I spoke to Jill who was EXTREMELY understanding and responsive to my feedback. She sent Howard out for follow-up and a new job at my house. Howard was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, understanding to my concerns, and his years of experience really shines. I rated a B in quality only due to the first technician, but Howard's work is an A+! Their prices are a tad bit higher than some guys out there, but it's well worth it when you get a master electrician like Howard! Electrical is the lifeline to your home, and to keep your family safe, it's worth paying a little extra. Also, the company is very professional. It's very refreshing to speak with professionals and be treated well. The most frustrating thing about working individuals in a trade field is when they treat me like a 'stupid woman' when I ask questions. I was treated very well by Jill and Howard. Thank you!

We purchased a new fixture and had it on hand for Mike to install. (This is NOT included in the coupon price I stated above.) First he removed the existing light fixture (from about the 19060's) from our hallway ceiling on the second floor. To insure a secure fixture, Mike had to do a little extra work to secure the light to our old electrical box. We assembled part of our light, but we purposely did not install all the pieces because we didn't want him to have to hold a heavy piece with one hand while working with another. After he go the fixture wired up and secure, he took the extra time to install 20 small golfball sized decorative crystals to our light to complete the install - all this while on a ladder. We did not expect him to, but he insisted and we appreciate how he went the extra mile. Mike was prompt, pleasant, worked diligently and we will gladly have him in our home again.

Jeff the technician from Clover Electric was very courteous and professional. He replaced a double light switch and GFCI. I would definitely call Clover again!

We called Clover Electric after reviewing them on Angie's List. They responded quickly and professionally and set an appointment after explaining in detail how the process would go that is; the service technician would give us an estimate in writing after he reviewed the work to be done but we would be responsible for the $79.00 service charge even if we did not elect to have them proceed. The $79..00 would be deducted if we agreed to have them complete the work. Our problem was as follows: Our ceiling fan had become disconnected from the down rod and was hanging by the electrical wires. I had temporarriy secured it to the down rod with another piece of wire to relieve the strain on the electrical wires so there was not any eminent danger of it falling. The fan was in a room with a 20 ft ceiling. Clover Electric called to cancel the original appointment and changed it to another day. We agreed to a week delay. When they did arrive the technician was on time,polite and professional. After reviewing our needs he gave us an estimate of $646.24 and said that it would take two men and several hours to complete the job. We thought that the quote was high and boy were we wise to get another estimate. The electrician from a different company came, saw the problem and said that he could fix it in about 30 minutes for $125.00 and that is exactly what he did. He was polite and every bit as professional as the tech from Clover. We saved $521.00 for the same work by not using Clover Electric. I would never call them again knowing how high their prices are even though the technician was polite and professional.

He came on time, gave me quotes for everything that needed to be done and did everything I asked. He was very efficient and cleaned up after himself.

I feel that since this was for a home sale and we do not live in the area these prices were over inflated.
