They use a national, job-based pricing system that puts them at a higher price than other electricians in the area. But they are knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. I will probably use them in the future.

Description of Work: Whole house surge protection was installed and i asked if he would look at a ceiling fan while here and he was happy to look at it and advise.

Description of Work: I purchased a $79 coupon for $279 worth of electrical work from Clover Electric to do some repairs in my house. This coupon covered repairing four outlets all on the same circuit and an inspection of a ceiling fan with a bad remote. The fan had a bad module and since neither I nor Clover had an extra module; I will continue to manually use the pull chain to turn the light on and off. The following work Clover Electric did for an extra $232. I want to put up an over the range microwave. When I removed the dated vent/light over the stove I found not an outlet but a romex cable. I asked Jeff (the technician) to install an outlet in the cabinet above the stove which he did. Customer service is excellent with Clover Electric. And Jeff was friendly and very knowledgeable. So I am sure the work is done correctly and with safety for the consumer in mind. The only reason I gave this company an overall rating of B was the cost. I thought since the live romex line was beneath the cabinet where I wanted the new microwave outlet; it would cost about $50. I was way off on this cost estimate. Overall, this is a good company and I would use them again.

Description of Work: I had purchased a voucher as an angieslist deal. The appointment was scheduled and the electrician was prompt and courteous. I had a long list of things that I wanted to have done to our 3 year old home. It was lots of odds and ends and he got everything done VERY reasonably and in just a few hours. THANK YOU!!

Description of Work: I am upset with this company. I bought two vouchers at $79 each and they are good for $279 worth of electrical work. The one was for work at my rental property which I had to get done. They charged me an additional $333 for work done there. I really can not comment on it other then the work was done, the work was good but I thought it was expensive. HOWEVER for the second voucher, which was to be spent on the installation of a ceiling fan, was way to expensive. The worker shows up and I ask him how much to put in a ceiling fan. He says the normal price is $279! Thats the exact amount of the voucher!!!! Also that is very expensive to have a ceiling fan installed under normal circumstances. Then he tells me thatt since I dont have a light on the ceiling, it would be another $700 to $800! Thats rediculus! The room has a light on the wall and about two years ago, I had a ceiling fan installed in the other bedroom. That room did not have a light on the ceiling but did have a light on the wall like this room. I paid around $275 to have that ceiling fan installed. I asked why the price difference and was given a bunch of b********. At any rate I am not happy with this company. I did not give the ok for the work. I will contact the other electrical company and have them install the ceiling fan. Then I will let you know how much it cost. My guess is at least $300 cheaper then this company. Please attach this review to Clover Electric as I will be checking to see if it is posted.

The gentleman from Clover Electric found the problem,.fixed it, ran a new line and did a wonderful job. thanks so much. Description of Work: Mike was very professional with explaining what he was doing to place a nthe motor in the fanew switch for the light and the fan in the bedroom. I was told that the motor to the fan was not working. He wired for the two buttons and gave me an estimate for puting in a new ceiling fan when I am ready. He cleaned up after he was done. I was very pleased with the overall work.

Description of Work: We have been living in our house for ~5years and have been accumulating a list of things that were going wrong. Not only was the lady on the phone nice and told us all about the company but the Electrician that was sent out was so nice and thorough. Sam was the best electrician I ever worked with and will ask for him for future projects as well. Pleasure doing business with clover.

Description of Work: Probably the best experience we have had with a local contractor/service in over 10 years of home ownership. The Clover professionals were pleasant, efficient, responsive and practical. Our unreserved recommendation!

Description of Work: Repaired electrical connection to an existing outdoor post lamp and two outdoor GFI sockets. Installed more heavy duty mounting unit from freestanding GFI outlet (the breaking of the orginal allowed water into the line, causing the short that needed to be repaired). Highly satisfied with nearly every aspect of service. Haven't purchased professional electrician services in a while, so the price tag felt high-ish.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate to install 2 outdoor outlets. They wanted $79 just to come look at the job. They are located less than 5 miles from my house. I can only figure that they can't compete on price so they want to make sure you are committed to having them do the work before they even look at the job. I simply told them that they would never earn my business.
