They informed me that my house did not qualify for their deal because of the roof pitch. They did offer to give me an estimate, and refunded my money. I declined the offer, decided to go local instead.

I got this because I had leaking in my attic. He came out and caulked around the chimney and said that should take care of it. It is still leaking really bad so I called back and was told that package I bought from Angie's list doesn't have a warranty. To me this package is a waste of money

It went well. Ill be able to tell this winter if it worked. I think they did a good job but were quite expensive for what they did.

Replaced missing shingles and caulked where needed.

Shane gave me two estimates for work and the job was scheduled promptly--the guys were great that came out. Once the work was done, after a few days of heavy rain, I noticed I still had water coming down from behind the gutters in a couple of areas. I called Shane Fisk Roofing and they scheduled my repair for the following week. I stated my findings to the guys--they promptly did the needed repairs. In doing this repair, they found another issue with the gutter work done by the previous roofer--where that roofer took note of no drip edge, they caulked the area instead. (I attached three pictures of the gutter guard installed by the previous roofer that Shane's roofers removed--you can see the caulking material on it) Not good. Unfortunately, this job cost me more than I anticipated, but I hope this problem is resolved once and for all. I feel that if there still is an issue, or if I need roofing work in the future, Shane is one roofer I would call on again.

Showed up on time and completed work and cleanup very well.

Did not go up on roof to inspect. Did not do anything that was listed in ad.

I went great they were here at 9:00 and done by 9:15. I gave him the shingles and had them nailed down in 15 minutes

They were not able to perform the work and I need a refund for the service

Very Well! We ended up hiring them to replace the front roof slope. The price were very reasonable and the quality of service was excellent!

But they said that our roof had this type of a grade to it and they didn't have the right ladder and they couldn't do it. They gave me an estimate. The estimate they gave me was a lot. So I thought, "I'm not having this done." They wanted me to call this other number and they put on paper for that other place, "To seal both sides of the dormer using a Tripolymer sealant. Roof is 10 12 plus pitch, so a 30-foot ladder and hook ladder are needed on job." We have a small house, but they said that they couldn't check it. My husband told them he thought there was a leak somewhere. So that's why they mentioned that leak. Then they said it would be about $675. They were very nice, they were very polite, but obviously they didn't have the proper equipment and ladders to go up just a normal roof. This is a small house. It is a two story, but they just said, for some reason, the grade on this roof was not something that they normally see. They were far away, they were from Canton or something and they couldn't just go and get a ladder and they would suggest that we just get in touch with the company and tell them that this is what is needed and it would be around $675. They never even went up. I was very disappointed and I thought that they should have made some kind of restitution right there like "Okay, we can't do anything, so we'll try to get your money back." The two guys were very nice, I really thought that they would get back to me or someone from the company would get back to me about that since they didn't do anything, but no one did. They came on time, they were punctual.

Great! From the intitial estemate to the fianl day, Shane and his crew were great! Always communicated times, dates, and questions/concerns throughout project. The roof and gutters look amazing.

He was fine! He was prompt when he came and provided and estimate and when he came back he was fine to work with. He did exactly what he said he would do and charged me what he said.

Not good. They came out and did the 'inspection' and quoted me $500 worth of repairs. Didn't really do anything but look at it. Then when I decided to have them do the repairs that were quoted, they told me that the guy who quoted it was let go for doing bad quotes, and they probably couldn't do it for that price. I even told them that was OK, since I was selling the home and needed the things discussed repaired quickly. Then after they told me they'd do it, they came back and said they couldn't after all due to time constraints. Overall a pretty negative experience.

The price was reasonable. They were kind of late. They had me waiting. They were a little evasive in their information. I think I really did not care for that and giving me a detailed service. I think they were a little evasive in the information when they did the inspection to see what work would needed to be done.

There were no extra costs. They did a wonderful job, and they were very clean in their work. They were very clear and concise. It was a pleasure to work with them, and I would use them in the future.

There were no additional fees. It was a pretty good deal. He did a pretty good job. I would tell others that it was fine, he didn't really do anything but go up and put some caulk down, he was here for maybe an hour. He seemed to know what he was talking about and he seemed to find the problem areas and get them caulked.

Shane was very friendly and likeable but he was also late. In fairness, they did say it would be two hour window but it was more than 2 1/2 hours after the appointment time when someone called to let me know he was still coming. This was frustrating since I had to stay home from work for this. It was difficult to get the appointment scheduled in the first place. After a week of waiting for them to schedule me I finally had to contact them again. Also I was under the impression that we were scheduling the work to get done that day and didn't find out it wasn't until during the appointment. Communication could have been better. And although I understand the concept of overhead, I felt the estimate was incredibly high for the small amount of work I needed done (just repair of a small section of soffit, about 5 feet). I ended up having someone else do the work. I couldn't help but feel that they didn't really want the job. Even after the estimate, two days later no one had still called to schedule the work.

This service was a "joke". They never even got up on the roof to inspect; claimed the pitch was too steep. They did however provide me a a $675 estimate to remove a piece of wood that apparently the builders forgot to take down when they built the house and put on the roof.

The salesman, not roofer showed up promptly at the appointed time. I was unable to be there but my adult son who has worked on multiple construction projects over the years was. I have a home with a first floor roof covered patio and the main house roof which is a colonial style home. The SALESMAN never really got on the main roof. He did some light caulking around the flashing on the first floor chimney and that was about it. I spoke to the SALESMAN on the phone to make sure that they renailed a single shingle that had nail popped. He quickly informed me he was really more of a salesman and not a roofer and that they didn't have the proper equipment to get on the main roof. Which by the way is 6/12 pitch roof. So with that being said. This is my synopsis: This is a bait and switch promotion for a $99 roof maintenance package that is really a paid estimate to find something wrong with the roof. They company doesn't send out a roofer but a salesman in my opinion may or not be afraid of heights He couldn't find much wrong and when I asked for an estimate for new upper level gutters he informed me they weren't very competitive in pricing in Western Pennsylvania. Which tells me that the job would not be worth their while This is a good old fashion bait and switch. With a touch of deceptive marketing With that being said... Buyer beware. I will never use Angie's list again and will be cancelling my membership. For those who have already purchased. I would recommend cancelling the promo and getting a reputable local estimate and pay to have the work done properly.

We are the 2nd owners of this house built in 1999 and bought by us in 2011. The workmen were courteous and professional. They answered all my questions and were friendly. They even took pictures of the bad portions of the roof (using my camera). The old roof had no underlayment, which contributed to the rot found in the roof wood deck. They did an excellent job. Our roof looks wonderful. Here are my concerns: 1. Prior to this, we asked for roof de-icing cables to be installed, which Shane did for $ 1,880.00. He also replace 3 soil pipe covers and put zinc stripping where discoloration (pre-moss?)was noticed on the roof for $ 550.00. 2. When he inspected the roof, Shane failed to notice (or report to us) that the original roof did not have felt underneath the shingles. In short, I think Shane could have saved us quite a bit of money by doing a better inspection. Prior to getting the roof, we became aware of the lack of an underlayment on the original roof when some wind blew a couple of shingles off. Shane fixed these at no cost to us. It cost $2,344 for the 1st contractor to rebuild a valley, install rubber roofing and flashing on the roof and patch drywall in the garage (we had had a leak). It cost $ 2,430 for Shane to do the de-icing cables, zinc strips and soil pipe flashings. Total cost $ 4774.00, which I could have saved if the inspections would have been complete in the first place. I like Shane and am very well pleased with the work done on our home. I have not decided for sure if I would use him again, but I probably would because he would be familiar with his prior work. My indecision also comes from the 2 or 3 delays in getting the work started. Should you choose to use him for roofing work, ask a lot of questions and make sure he looks underneath the shingles to see if there is underlayment. In conclusion, he does excellent work, but may be delayed in when he can actually start the job. Ask to be notified about delays.

I had Sam come out September 12th to do the inspection and after he suggested the algae treatment when the weather warms up, I waited to proceed with the work. I called the company back on April 29th to get the work scheduled and I was informed by the receptionist that Sam no longer works for this company and that they would no longer honor the work order or coupon I had to get this work completed. Mr. Fisk would not even speak to me about this matter.

They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. They did a great job. I would recommend them for any roofing repairs.

It was okay. There was a little hole that I wanted them to plug up and I pointed it from below, and they didn't. When he finished he just left, and I noticed a long time after, so I don't know if he forgot or not. I just went to Lowe's and bought the stuff to do it myself. He may have just forgotten. He just finished and left. Because I had paid in advance, he didn't have a reason to come to my door with the bill. He was very nice.
