Description of Work: I bought the Angie's list big deal for a roof inspection. When I called to make the appointment I asked that they clean the gutters and repair a broken gutter. They said no problem. After the appointment the repairman called me. I run a daycare in my home, kids were yelling and I couldn't hear very well. I asked him about the cleaning and gutter repair, he said that was a whole separate issue, but would get back to me that,evening with more details. I never heard anything for over a week. I called the office and was told they would look into it right away. A few days later I received an email for the additional work. It seemed very high to me, so I got a second estimate, which seemed much more reasonable. Since the original repair person never called me back, I,am not even sure if there were any roofing problems. I was unhappy with the whole experience.

Description of Work: I originally hired this company through an Angie Deal for a $99 roof inspection with minor fixes. They came and did that. It's an old roof and they could easily have told me it was about to collapse. Instead they took photos documening several spots with loose flashing or with badly deteriorated seals. These were very visible in the photos. They gave me an estimate of $1050 to do these repairs, plus a lot of moss scraping, which is really quite good considering how old the roof is. We made an appointment, they came back and did the work. They were personable, polite and efficient. I felt that they were very honest because they documented everything, and they could have told me that I needed a whole new roof when I did not. I would gladly call them again.

Description of Work: Roof maintenance package. Sam, from Shane Fisk, seemed very knowledgeable and definitely was very personable and attentive. |Walked essentially the entire roof. Did resealing as required. Presented a handwritten proposal for additional work - complete new roof plus skylight. |Some shortcomings: Turns out the proposal did not include at least one item. Also, did not provide any vendor brochures on the type of shingles or other materials being proposed. Plus, there was no followup until I called about 3 weeks later to get some proposal clarification. Otherwise, there was never any followup from Shane Fisk. Although Sam assured me to the contrary, I got the feeling that my location was a bit too far away from Canton, OH for Shane Fisk to be really interested. Would have been nice to have received a more formal and complete followup proposal and letter from the Shane Fisk office... especially in light of the rather significant value of the proposed work. |

Description of Work: Installed heating cables on roof and performed needed minor roof repair. Service went smoothly, but no snow yet to test how well it works.....

Description of Work: The gentleman inspected my roof and made a couple minor repairs to the shingles. He also recommended other options that would help improve the life of the roof.

Description of Work: repaired leak in the roof around the stack vent. Reset and sealed a solar panel that powered an exhaust vent. Good job.

Why wasn't this covered under original purchase? | |Spent more time preparing inspecting roof and preparing a quote than doing ant service.

Description of Work: I had purchased the $99 Pre-Winter Roof Maintenance Package. They did a seal boot, replaced shingles, replaced fascia board, and put the gutters back. They did a wonderful job and I thought they were very professional, they were on time, came in and did the work, and cleaned up afterwards. I was very impressed with them.

Description of Work: Shane Fisk Roofing inspected 3 levels of roofing, sealed around vent pipes and flue pipe. Stated shingles were good for at least 5 more years. This service was well worth the price.

Description of Work: My roof was inspected and some minor things were done. They were professional and gave me detailed info on what they found. They were not pushy about having further work done. They gave me a fair price for some repairs that needed done and I am using them to complete those repairs.
