Description of Work: I had roof repair done and they removed my ridge vent. After done, roof leaked. This company refused to consider the roof vent removal or even look at the problem even though I'd already paid over $1000. I just had to pay another provider $1000. to replace the ridge vent.

Description of Work: I needed my garage roof patched around where the cupola sits on top. Right away the man from Fisk Roofing said he could not go up on the roof, because it was too steep (according to Ohio regulations). He said he could have someone else come out to do the work, but it was more extensive than I first thought. He gave me an estimate somewhere of over $800. | |I called the roofer who had done our house, and he gave me an estimate of $350. He couldn't understand about the roof being too steep, as it is about the same as the roof he had done on our house. He did the work on the garage, and even repaired a leaky gutter that he noticed. | |I did not request my money back from Fisk, because he did drive out to the house, although he didn't do anything. | |The company that did the work was 3 Men and a Toolbelt, and I would strongly recommend their services.

Description of Work: A "wham, bam, thank you mam" cursory inspection and service of the roof et. al. After not doing much, we were to receive an estimate of the work to be done---never happened, even after a follow-up call. This was one of those "specials" of which the only special part was disappointing performance by an ANGIES LIST vendor. Oh well, live and learn!

Description of Work: They came out to fix a leak in the roof and after the work was completed roof continued to leak called back out was told it would be an additional fee of $500+ funny thing is the leak was actually coming from the chimney and not the roof at all!

Description of Work: Did roof inspection via Angie's List special. Then provided estimate for just the part of the roof that needed replacing. Took a few tries to hook up for service date, but finally came and did a nice job.

Description of Work: He showed up and I told him we had noticed that a couple of shingles had slipped out of position. He put them back in place. He said the flashings around the chimneys were fine. He then said he "inspected" the rest of the roof and asked if he should write an estimate for the work that needed to be done. He wrote up work that amounted to about $1200, citing that we had some nail pops that needed to be secured among other things. Why he didn't fix these while he was here I wasn't sure. We have a small, 2 story bungalow with a roof just over 10 years old. I didn't feel very confident about his assessment and would definitely get a second opinion before spending that kind of money on our roof.

Description of Work: I needed a roof inspection since I will be selling my home soon, they came, did the inspection, showed me pictures of what needed to be done and gave me an estimate that day. I scheduled the work. They were on-time, polite and finished the work as stated. My experience with them was fabulous and would highly recommend them.
