Description of Work: A friend recommended Winkleman Home Inspections as my husband and I prepared to purchase our first home. | |Prior to our inspection, Ed provided us a sample inspection report, providing details and clear photos of items inspected. | |My husband and I met Ed at our prospective home just as he finished his inspection. Our walk-through lasted no more than an hour as we reviewed the home inspection details. As we traveled from room to room, Ed answered our questions, discussed concerns, and made clear recommendations as far as remedying issues. Upon completion of our home inspection, Ed generated and sent us our reports. | |We're incredibly pleased to have worked with Ed and highly recommend him.  + -1 moreMr. Winkleman was very detailed and extremely thorough throughout the inspection. We were able to follow him during the inspection and often to take the time to discuss things with us in detail. Was very pleasant and after completion of inspection took the time to give us energy savings tips for things throughout the house. We received all our inspection reports the next day. They were very timely and detailed including many pictures. Strongly recommend Mr. Winkleman.
Description of Work: Price below was for three different type inspections. Basic home inspection fee is very well priced for the quality inspection and detail Mr. Winkleman provided.

 + -1 moreExtremely knowledgeable and professional. Took the time to answer questions even with regard to possible upgrades and solutions to minor issues. Very courteous and did not rush to complete the job. I am completely satisfied that the inspection was done properly. He included Angie's List discounts that I was not aware of as well. Mr. Winkleman gets my highest recommendation. Others may charge more, but their service won't be any better. Please be advised I am not a first time home buyer. I have gone through this process on initial home purchases twice before and have paid up to $100 more for an inspection on homes with approximately the same sq, footage. In fact some of my estimates from other Angie's List providers were in the $325 range. I don't know what they would have done that Winkleman's Home Inspection failed to do. I was present during the inspection and I was thoroughly satisfied. Mr. Winkleman left me feeling that except for minor issues, the home was safe, well maintained, and in overall excellent condition.
Description of Work: Thirty page professional detailed home audit of the property necessary for myself and the lender.
