Plumbing One

The service man arrived as agreed and the hot water tank was installed within an hour of his arrival. The cost of the job was in line with what I expected. The old tank was removed. This was a Saturday job and I called at 8 am and the repairman was at my home by 10:30. I would hire again and I would recommend this company.

Excellent. Were able to show up the same day I called and fixed the hot water heater with a new value. I was expecting to have to get a new hot water heater but they were able fix it at a fraction of the cost of a new heater

Communication good, quality was lacking. The technician changed the thermocouple on our water heater and produced two gas leaks in the process...After returning home in the evening, the house completely smelled of gas so we had Columbia Gas come out and check the water heater. Columbia Gas said that the technician loosened two areas of the piping but did not tighten those areas. There were significant gas leaks. They had to turn the gas off for our safety and the neighborhood’s safety. The technician at Plumbing One stated he could not return to fix the issues until after the holidays...we spent Thanksgiving in the cold (4 days total) with a space heater in one room...wow. My husband and I were able to speak with the supervisor who volunteered to come and fix the issue, which was great! He ended up sending the exact same technician out because he was unable to come! The technician was again on time, which was good. We ended up needing to just order a new water heater, so the company (at least) installed it at a small discount. I do not like writing negative reviews, but I trust Angie’s list and want everyone reading to continue to read realistic accounts. Try another plumber on Angie’s list, guys.

I used Plumbing One on 12/14/17 and was pleased with their service and I later recommended the company to a neighbor. Today (1/18/18), because of my recommendation, my sister hired Plumbing One to replace a toilet in a bathroom. My sister had just returned from a long hospital stay and the Plumbing One representative, Jesse, was knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring. So, needless to say, I highly recommend Plumbing One for their work and for the way in which their agents display courtesy and kindess to their customers.

The problem was a faulty garbage disposal, which the plumber from Plumbing One diagnosed within a matter of minutes.

They did a great job, actually came in below the price they quoted for the work. Very professional and prompt!

Late at night, 2 nights before Christmas, I discovered water all over my kitchen floor and under the sink. I suspected the disposal was leaking since it was quiet old. The next morning I called a plumbing company but they were fully booked, so I tried Plumbing One. They were also pretty much booked until after Christmas, but they offered to fit me in and would call when someone was available. Within a couple hours I got a call that someone was on their way. The gentleman was very professional, got the disposal off, went & picked up a new one, installed it and was done in a very short time. I was very impressed & pleased! I would certainly call Plumbing One in the future for plumbing work.

The gas company turned our gas back on. So it went well!!!

Easy and BEST experience...my water heater was old and started "whistling" call Plumbing One, the woman on the phone was very kind and helpful, said they could come the a.m. of the next day. At 7:30 I got call that they were on their way, they picked up new water heater, drained old one, took it away, installed new one, wrote up the bill and I had hot water in 1/2 hr. Thanks

Overall it went well. The tech was helpful in explaining my options. He couldn't do exactly what I wanted but that was in no way his fault. It was a poor house design. One problem: the tech said he would make my shower water hotter and in fact made it colder. He did say he would come to make it right. He said he was at my home twice one day we scheduled but I don't know how we could have missed each other. I was home. The second scheduled time I was running late and may have missed him. I gave up and decided to try to fix it myself.

Very well from the initial call to the actual service. They scheduled an appointment for me with an actual time (not a 4 hour window like most companies these days). On the day of the service, the tech was running late and called to let me know he would be later than planned. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all my questions. He gets bonus points for talking to my cat and petting her on the way out. :-)

Terrible. I made an appointment and nobody showed up. No calls no plumber no nothing. I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes and I'm mad and will tell everybody I know. How can you run a business this way? It's ridiculous.

Well - the plumber did a very good job.

Came and stop leak and had me buy new shower head and faucet that he would install the next day. He came back but the area behind shower was still wet so installed the shower but put a piece of plastic up temporarily so I could take a shower and said would come back following week on one of the evenings to put the piece of would with the plastic shower wall glued to it back up. I noticed water behind the plastic when I took a shower and found out it was leaking where the shower head was screwed into the pipe. I called a couple of times the following week and finally got a time set up the following Saturday. I got charged another $190.00

It was great. From the estimate to the work we dealt with the same staff which was great. The results were also great. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I thought it went great. He gave me an estimate of $242 for the two toilets, and they are a mess from old rust that built up from our old water softening system not doing a very good job with rust. He also gave me a reasonable estimate for moving the water tank and well water tank, and putting a better lid on the lift station. They have to move pipes and lift the water heater off the floor where it is now. There is another name for a lift station, but what is does is pump raw sewage from the downstairs toilet up and out of the house. You have to have a lift station when you don't have the pressure you get from city water to do that job.

They were quick and courteous and on time. When the problem seemed to look worse than initially feared they kept me in the loop and at the end of the day let me know what the fix was, how they fixed it, and offered to let me keep the old parts (I declined).

Came out on time, was polite and friendly. Unfortunately, the quote given was very, very high for such a small amount of work so we were unable to hire him.

Awesome! Jesse was so courteous and cingenial. I felt comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. I will recommend him for excellent service to those who may need an honest plumber.

New sump pumps are still going strong. Great work.

Very good. They fit me in the next day. They called prior to arrival. The valves were 14 years old and Jesse located almost the exact set to replace. The work looked great. He was friendly and courteous.

Jesse called earlier than expected, and was able to start an hour earlier than the opening of the window the scheduler had given us. He did excellent work; the old faucets were 30 years old and one turned out to be quite rusty. Suggestion #1: both the estimate (seven weeks prior to the job) and my call to the scheduler mentioned the need for the shutoff valves, but Jesse's van didn't have enough for the job. However, he had to make a parts run anyway, because the bathroom faucets we had purchased did not include supply lines, so little time was lost. Suggestion #2: it would be helpful if the plumber were supplied with the booties that slip over the work shoes. There were several trips back and forth to the van, to both the kitchen and the master bath, and we needed to do some vacuuming afterwards.

He was a little late but made up for that by quickly finishing the job and even going to get more parts during the repair! He was still done in the window of time they provided.

Plumber was obviously experienced and knowledgeable, and did not waste any time. I highly recommend Plumbing One.
