The plumber advised that the pilot light was off and he checked the tank and assured me that I didn't require a new tank. I was very pleased and will call them again for any plumbing needs.

After getting two quotes from well-known big box companies, with prices ranging from $1,390.00 to $1,090.00, I checked Angie's list. I contacted Plumbing One on August 1, 2018 and spoke with Paul, Lead Tech. He quoted a price of $975.00, which included the discount offered for being a Angie's List subscriber. I assumed that when they came they would find reason's to mark up the price to recover the discount given(based on past experience). However, this was not the case. When the technician arrived on Monday, August 6, 2018, as scheduled, he was very professional and friendly. He installed the new hot water tank within a couple of hours and cleaned the area. There were not additonal up charges nor, did he try to sell any additional services. The final bill was $950.00, less than what was estimated which, include the discount of the service call and Angie's List subscriber discount. I highly recomment Plumbing One and will use their services again if needed. Very professional, friendly and honest.

Plumbing One is now my go-to plumber. Reasonable prices, quality work, and they stand behind their work. No BS, they helped us understand a complicated sewer-line issue in our old house and provided a cost-effective solution.

Excellent. Blower on hot water tank stopped working. Don, owner was able to come out same day to exam motor and determine needed new hot water tank, which was late Wednesday. Don was able to reschedule his technicians and got someone out Friday morning to replace the tank. John, the technician was very professional and creative in replacing the old corroded tank with an new tank and completed the task in the time he said it would take to fix. Also fixed the issue that possibly caused the blower to collect condensation and eventually force the motor to stop working.

The tech had the right tools to get the job done very quickly, double checked it worked and offered a couple of DIY trouble-shooting tips.

Job from the first phone call went exceptionally well. I have a large family and the water heater go out on me. I called Plumbing One and asked to have a quote for installation and removal. I even requested a specific heater. They were more than happy to accommodate my request and the next day came out first thing in the morning to switch units out. The two gentleman gave me a pre-call stating that they were on the way out to my residence. Polite, professional, and courteous. Job was performed well and to my wife’s satisfaction, we have hot water again.

Quick response. Appointment was next day, arrived on tube and quickly fixed. John was very nice and professional.

Plumbing One did a great job. Unfortunately, it was not a quick fix and he had to go through my wall to replace the fixtures. But he worked efficiently and replaced my fixtures with Moen (sp?) parts that have a lifetime guarantee. For the amount of work he did, I feel that the $550 I was charged was a fair price. He also extended special pricing for another plumbing job he didn't have time to do (since the first job took longer).

Garbage disposal replaced but drain pipe broke. Had to replace old, broken chrome-plated drain fixture with white plastic drain pieces; Part of bathroom sink drain damaged by corrosive cleaning & lack of use for 18 months. Had to replace drain elbow behind the wall in back of sink cabinet. Snaked drain & replaced drain with white plastic parts. Second service call required to finish: Bath tub faucet body- had to replace to stop leak. Added shut-off valves and replaced 85 year old steel water risers to tub with copper

Very well. I had requested a larger size which was provided and installed in a very professional and timely manner.

I called on Saturday morning and was told Jesse would arrive between 3 and 4 PM. They were the first company I called that answered the phone on Saturday, so I was very pleased they agreed to come that day. Jesse called at 12:30 to say he could be at my house in 40 minutes if that was ok with me. He arrived a little after 1 and was in about out in about 10 minutes. Very nice guy. I foolishly forgot to mention Angie’s Lust, so I didn’t get the 5 percent off, but that was my fault. I was very pleased with the work and with their promptness and responsiveness, especially on a weekend.

Excellent! They helped me get the best deal on the replacement parts and did the services right away. This was after I spent weeks with another plumber that stopped responding to me.

Sink and installation was fine. Plumber replaced wax ring on toilet and stated that should fix the problem; otherwise the ceiling would have to be cut to find and repair leak. Toilet started leaking again 3 week later. Scheduled appointment, plumber didn't show up and wound up taking off half a day of work for nothing. Hired a second plumber, who stated the wax ring was too small and replaced the wax ring. No leak since that repair, but the ceiling was damaged during the second leak to the point that it now needs to be cut out and replaced. Called the owner to request reimbursement for the improperly replaced wax ring. Owner was very defensive and responded with an F-bomb laced tirade, claiming he was trying to "save" me money by not replacing the phalange during the first repair. However, since the plumber explained that to replace the phalange the ceiling needed to be cut, that repair was originally declined. Not being a plumber, I did not realize that this was not the case; the ceiling does not need to be cut to replace a phalange. This seemed like a setup for a second visit to take advantage of a female customer. Caveat emptor.

Both times the plumber came out he was prompt. During the first visit he was only able to diagnose the issue and that cost $190; right out of the gate your are obligated for a service call charge PLUS the first hour of labor. That seemed a bit high to me, but I didn't ask up front so shame on me. It turned out that the shower valve needed replaced, so I was instructed to go purchase as new shower faucet and valve and that he would be back in a week to replace it. The actual install of the new valve and outside spigot took about 4 hours and that cost an additional $460. The plumber seemed knowledgeable and his workmanship was of good quality. However, I was disappointed to hear that they do not warrant their workmanship at all; again shame on me for not asking up front. It is for that reason that I would probably not hire them again, since they seem unwilling to stand behind their work. Again, the work was performed well and I have no complaints with the quality or expertise of the plumber himself.

Aside form the mess and inconvenience, the work went exactly as they described it would. The plumbers, Paul and Jesse, were great to work with and very friendly and respectful of my home. I have used them again already. They will for sure be my new go-to plumbing business and I am happy to have found a company that I have confidence in and like to have in my home. Paul is soooo nice!!

Went great, he was on time, new pump was installed quickly, he was in and out in no time. Price was reasonable and its still working.

It went well. I have called several people previously for this issue and got blown off. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful. We set an appointment. The plumber was on time. He explained that the water tank had never been properly services. (He asked several questions and I answered them honestly. It had never been properly service. He suspected that the filter in it had been fouled during the installation as well.) He went to get the equipment he needed. Came back in the allotted time. Did the work. Charged me appropriately. Gave great suggestions for easing the new owner's mind and letting them know that I had had the water heater inspected and serviced. Left the place clean. Made sure I got my discounts. And, so far, the noise is gone.

Another “A” for these guys. Called mid-morning and they were able to have problem correcting by mid-afternoon same day. Arrived on time and completed project efficiently. Price average for area.

Great. The plumber came out, was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He also gave us tips on how to prevent the problem from occurring again.

Working with Plumbing One was a great experience, from start to finish. My schedule had to change a couple of times and they were very accommodating. The service technician, Paul was scheduled to remove and install a toilet. Prior to him arriving we had noticed water leaking from the ceiling in our basement. Paul quickly diagnosed the issue with our washer in the laundry room. He was able to complete all of the work for us and did top quality work! I appreciate Paul taking good care of my home. I would highly recommend Plumbing One to all of my family and friends.

Pat was our worker that came. He was very nice and did an excellent job! Couldn’t ask for better service, products, or price. Would definitely recommend this company.
