Description of Work: Two painters for eight hours contracted 03April2013,service delivered 29May2013. Two rooms and kitchen with trim. Two colors and ceiling paint. When job accepted no indication that it would not be possible to complete. Jeremy suggested I purchase Kilz to prevent "bleed thru" of ceiling stain. I did plus the amount of paint estimated to be needed.

Description of Work: We had three painters come out for quotes to paint several rooms in the house. Jeremy Agnew's seemed to be the best deal for the $399 for 8 hours of painting. Jeremy quoted us the price for two coats in the master bedroom, living room (and attached stairway), and kitchen. They arrived on the scheduled date to do the painting and were relatively punctual (15 minutes late). Jeremy had been the one we had interacted with during the quote and the following phone calls so we were surprised that he was not there as it hadn't been mentioned he sends out a crew without coming himself. The painters remarked that we were much more prepared than most with the walls sanded, furniture moved, switchplates removed, etc. They kept referring to the "7 hour deal" which confused us as we were told it was 8. We were only there for the first hour and during that time the painters took two ten minute breaks.

Description of Work: Work, including patch and repair, exceeded my expectations. Jeremy was prompt, polite and wonderful to work with. His personal follow up visit, immediately fixed something that his "crew" of 2 failed to do.

Description of Work: The Merchant completed some interior painting. They were able to paint the kitchen and my loft with 2 complete coats

Description of Work: The inside /outside (minus doors) of my upper kitchen cabinets and pantry were primed and painted.

Description of Work: Called Jeremy Agnew last week to schedule an estimate for an exterior paint job, which was scheduled this evening at 6:00PM. At 6:20PM I received a call from Jeremy telling me he would be another 20 minutes late. Having left work early to be sure I was home in time for our scheduled appointment I was disappointed by his lack of professionalism. I would not recommend Jeremy Agnew for any work on your house. There are far too many companies out there with better customer service skills and a higher degree of professionalism that are more deserving of your time and money.

Description of Work: Interior painting was done. They painted a large living room with vaulted ceiling and two hallways. They were prompt and diid and excellent job. They were very neat and replaced furniture when work was completed. They cleaned up the area and left no traces that they had been there; we didn't need to clean up after they left.

Description of Work: We used the 2 painters for a day for $399 coupon (the other $51 was the cost of the paint). When Jeremy came out to view the formal living room I wanted to have painted, he and I were walking throuh the room discussing the paint when I noticed he had not removed his shoes when entering my home and there was a trail of dirty shoeprints on the carpet from where he walked. Because I own a carpet cleaner, I assumed I could vacuum then shampoo the carpet myself to remove the dirt he tracked in. I will say he did a wonderful job with the paint; and the paint itself looks great--its the stains he left on my carpet that I am upset about. After the paint job was completed, I used my carpet cleaner in the room and the dirty footprint stains were still there (very unfortunately I have light beige colored carpet). The following events took place and all conversation is documented and saved in my text messaging on my cell phone: I text messaged Jeremy and explained that I had used my carpet cleaner in the room, but could not get his shoe print stains out. Via text he replied, "Really? Thought for sure it wold come out pretty easy. I could come out and scrub it. I used to clean carpets, there should be no reason why the mud won't come out". He and I did set up a time for him to come back. He arrived with a can of solution and sprayed the 2 areas that did not come clean (after my attempts to clean them) and scrubbed them. When he was finished, the carpet areas he was working on were damp from the spray, and the color of the carpet appeared to be lighter. I very much appreciated him coming back to try to correct the problem. However, later when the areas dried, the stains resurfaced. They are lighter than before, but still visible. When I text him again about this, the text he sent back said "I thought the carpet looked fine. Could hardly see the spot you pointed out. The only stains I saw was prolly dog pee. Sorry you feel that way". As a customer, I feel very upset about the way he dismissed this problem. For the record, I own Chihuahuas. If they have an accident on the carpet, the spot is the size of a quarter--not the size and shape of a grown man's shoe. He suggested I have the carpet professionally cleaned.
