Jeremy Agnew Custom Painting

They did a wonderful job! They were busy but able to squeeze me in quickly because I needed my home painted before the end of the month. They came on a Saturday.

Jeremy was timely in his replies to come give an estimate. He arrived on time for both the initial consultation and when he came to do the actual painting. He was OK with me buying the paint. He did a great job painting the room and left no mess behind. I would use his service again.

Jeremy and his crew did a terrific job on our old Clintonville, 3-story home. From the original estimate to the final details, we are very, very pleased with his work. They began on schedule, worked full days, accommodated our changing ideas, repaired some rotted trim, painted carefully, and cleaned up each day. The price was fair and the attitude was positive. Jeremy even returned a few weeks later to help put in old, difficult storm windows. He was recommended to us by a friend, and we have already recommended him to others.

It went great. I got a deal, $399 for two painters for a day. Jeremy came out and I talked with me about various projects I was considering having done, since I didn't know how long it would take for some of them and I wanted to prioritize. He said they were booked up for a while but should be able to complete the work by the end of October. He got in touch later in the month as promised. They came out as scheduled and got to work, and completed the porch and bathroom in three hours! Since I had paid for them for the day, I asked if they could paint two pieces of furniture that I had been meaning to paint. Jeremy agreed--they got on 1-2 coats on the furniture. Overall, great job, and I plan on using them for my future painting needs.

Jeremy and his team painted nearly the entire interior of our house. He provided an estimate and really stuck to it. He was juggling a couple of end of season exterior projects at the same time but really did a great job making sure to stick to the expected timeline for us. Importantly, he and his workers moved and protected all of our furniture (some quite heavy), and repositioned them after the job was done. We were very happy with the quality and efficiency of his work and his attention to detail. Interestingly, Jeremy and his workers don't use a lot of tape but all the edges turned out precise anyway. He also came back a few weeks later to repaint a ceiling that was discolored after installing a chandelier and he didn't charge us (of course we paid something since that wouldn't have been right). We have since recommended him to others who have had a similarly positive experience.

They did a wonderful job. I think it took them longer than they predicted because we picked a color of orange that took extra coats. But, they were on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Scheduling with Jeremy was extremely easy. After our initial consult, I felt confident with what he offered and decided to use Jeremy on the spot. I had my entire house painted. Jeremy was pleasant to work with and put me in contact with his preferred paint vendor so that I could make accurate color choices. Jeremy and his team finished my house on time and he came back later in the week to install a couple of lighting fixtures that I had purchased. Overall, the experience was great from start to finish and I would highly recommend Jeremy Agnew to anyone looking to have painting done.

Called and spoke to Jeremy. He told me that he would stop by our house on Wednesday the 25th between 6:30-7 to give us a quote. He never showed up or called us to re-schedule. I would not recommend this company to anyone

I purchased the "Big Deal" for $339 for 2 painters for the day. Jeremy came out, gave an estimate. I told him he could start painting anytime after August 19th. (was having driveway sealed and wanted them to be able to park on the driveway). Never heard a word from him. On Sept. 16th I called, left a message, he never returned my call. On Sept. 23rd I called again, he did answer his phone. He did not remember me, he sounded confused, said he was driving and had nothing to write with. But, he said he should be able to start my job (which he had no clue about) the end of the week. Well, it is into the following week. No Jeremy and no communication from him. I am in the process of trying to get my money back from Angie's List.

We had to reschedule quite a few times. Once they came though they spent almost 5 days painting the house and were very thorough (although you can see the old paint in some spots; we went from beige to gray). They had to scrape the old paint in some spots where t was peeling off. The windows still have traces and spots of paint in some places of the glass but for the most part it looks great. We wanted to paint the house a brown gray, we could not find it at the store where they buy their paints. The shade we picked looks good though and it matches the stone. We would definitely use them in the future.

The service was good. They did trim work all around the house and window trim. There was a cupola on top of the house, they refinished that and just a few smaller projects.

It went very well. For the most part, the walls and ceiling look great. My only regret was that I paid for 2 painters for a day; they came at 9:30 and left at 3:30, so I wish I had given them something else to paint. They could surely have painted another room during their scheduled time.

It was good. He spent 7 hours painting the outside decking of our house. I was hoping that he would have gotten more done in the 7 hours, but do realize that we had a lot of stuff bolts, etc. that needed to be trimmed out.

I bought a Big Deal ($399/2 painters for a day). Jeremy came to my house and we agreed that he would paint my shutters, front door, and exterior trim. He suggested replacing a decaying trim board on the front of the house and I agreed. Paint was not included in the Big Deal. I showed Jeremy a paint can from what I think was last trim painting (before I owned the home) and picked a color for the door/shutters from Sherwin Williams color samples (couldn't find the paint can for that one). The paint, replacement board and some additional labor added $147 to the cost of the job. Jeremy and his crew arrived at the house on the scheduled day. They took care of all of the areas we had discussed -- everything looks great. I'm very happy with the way things turned out.

Jeremy responded to my phone calls in a timely fashion and accommodated my schedule. He arrived on time and worked throughout the day to get the job done. I picked some difficult paint to work with (I found this out later when I used the same paint to personally paint my bathroom) and he did a great job dealing with it. He had to paint very tall valuted ceilings above a drained pool -- very difficult job, in my opinion.

We had the painting done a month ago due to the company being very busy. He came out and did a fantastic job. We did pay an additional $600 on top of the big deal but it was worth it. We would highly recommend.

I was impressed with Jeremy. I have an old house - built in 1837 and on the National Historical Register. He painted the entire house, including windows and doors. The old girl really needed some help. He was proactive about things that needed to be done in order to properly complete the work. This included actually having to unscrew some of the 2nd story storm windows in order to get to paint the window sills. He notices several cracked window panes and suggested if I were to replace them, now's the time. He had custom sizes made and replaced 11 window panes - for a total of only $400 additional. He is an independent contractor - not a big company. The work was done in a timely manner and professionally done. Jeremy and his crew was easy to work with and his price was outstanding. As he left he said: "If you notice anything that's not right, be sure to let me know." I would hire him again in a second.

The service was fine. They were two guys. They came out and they worked from 8:30 to 3:30 and they did as much as they could in that timeframe, which was a lot. I was expecting, after his guys came out and did the work, that he would come and check it. Or just came to see what they had done. But I had a lot going on during that timeframe and he was very busy. They were punctual. As far as the work they did, I did not have any problem with their work at all. I was happy with that.

Everything went pretty well. Jeremy and another painter started at about 9 a.m. and finished at about 5 or 6 p.m. He moved some small furniture out of the room and took down some of the heavier wall hangings before he started. They did a nice job painting and hanging the ceiling fan. We live in an old farm house, and I failed to point out some old rough patches on the walls that I would have liked to have had smoothed out before they were painted. I assumed they would take it upon themselves to patch or sand them as part of the prep work, but they did not. It was a lack of communication on my part as I'm sure Jeremy would have fixed them if I had asked. They missed painting a small strip in the bathroom below a wall length mirror. I didn't notice it right away, but a few days later I noticed it had not been painted. I called Jeremy and told him about it and ask that he stop by when he was in the neighborhood. It was less than two weeks later, one of his workers came and painted it. Everything was cleaned up and put back before he left. I would definitely higher Jeremy again.

Jeremy and his crew did a fantastic job in a short timetable. He guaranteed that he could complete the job in time for a graduation party I was hosting at the house and he did not disappoint, even though I did not give him a lot of time. He was very responsive to all of my phone calls and questions and the quality of the work was excellent. He even noticed that one of the gutters was loose and offered to stabilize it for us at no extra labor charge. I am almost done with a bathroom remodel, it just needs to be painted, so I am going to call Jeremy again for this job.

That was phenomenal. They were really good.

I called Jeremy after looking a t deal for $399 for an 8 hour day of painting. I have a smaller two story that his siding with brick. He came out to look at my house and recommended powerwashing the trim for $80 and said he would do the whole house for $180.00 I then asked him to do the garage as well for $50 more. We scheduled the power washing the next week. The power washing job was excellent they took their time to do it right, it took approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours. The board repairs and painting was completed two days later. My house looks ten times better. He came out each time as promised. The job came out very well.

Great! Very good quality, easy to work with. I would definitely use Jeremy and his crew again.

Jeremy did a great job. The house looks brand new. He fixed some rotted wood as well as a broken attic louver. Our only constructive criticism would be to communicate more effectively concerning timeline. The rain wreaked havoc on his schedule and we would have liked to be kept updated on where our house was on the agenda. Highly recommended; we will use his service again when we have the need.
